As a photography and videography team, we’ve had the pleasure of working at Pinehill Pavilion on multiple occasions, and every experience has been exceptional. The entire team is professional, welcoming, and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that every wedding day runs smoothly.
The property itself is absolutely breathtaking, offering several stunning ceremony locations that give each couple the opportunity to create a wedding that feels uniquely their own. We especially love the charming cottages, which provide the perfect setting for getting ready, first looks, and intimate private vow readings.
The reception space is spacious, elegant, and beautifully designed. Guests often comment on how gorgeous the venue is, and from a photographer and filmmaker’s perspective, it’s a dream to work in. The thoughtful layout, beautiful architecture, and scenic surroundings provide endless opportunities for stunning photos and cinematic footage.

Our wedding at Pinehill Pavilion was everything we could have hoped for and more. The venue is absolutely stunning, and the natural beauty of the property during the spring season created such a breathtaking backdrop for our wedding day. One of the things we appreciated most throughout the planning process was the incredible staff. From start to finish, everyone was professional, warm, welcoming, and flexible. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but the team consistently made us feel supported and cared for every step of the way. A special thank you to Jaz and Maddy for their patience, guidance, and encouragement throughout the process. We truly cannot thank them enough for helping us get to our big day.
We also really appreciated the financing options available through the venue. They felt realistic and manageable for couples trying to balance their wedding dreams with a practical budget. It allowed us to have a beautiful venue without feeling like we had to sacrifice quality or experience due to financial concerns.
Another major benefit was that the venue includes bartending services. Having one less vendor to coordinate made the planning process much smoother and less overwhelming, which was a huge plus.
Overall, we could not be happier with our experience. The beauty of the venue, the professionalism of the staff, and the level of care we received made our wedding day truly special. We would highly recommend Pinehill Pavilion to any couple looking for a gorgeous venue and an exceptional team to support them. In fact, if we could go back and do it all over again, we absolutely would. ❤️✨

Gina has lived in North Carolina for over 30 years. Retiring early from the grading business she built with her business partner was just not fulfilling enough. She decided to build a wedding venue on family land. The land is close to the Raleigh area but had a wonderfully secluded feel. Two of her three children helped make this venue a reality and have made this family business their career. For Gina, this is her dream job! Working with her children is just icing on the cake.

ive to email for my stream of endless questions. They worked within the time and budget constraints we had with a breeze. With 5 plus ceremony locations there is something for every couple and so many photo opportunities. The venue is already gorgeous so you do not need to have as many decorations to have a beautiful wedding. On the day of our wedding, we had to change our ceremony and cocktail hour plans due to rain the day before and the staff did not skip a beat and made everything run smoothly. We have had so many compliments from our guests about how great the venue was. With the pond and patio area, guests that were not big into dancing and those with children were able to have fun outside.

We hosted our wedding reception here, and there was not a single moment where we felt worried or concerned with how their venue services were going, thanks to their wonderful team!...
We had an absolute blast the whole weekend, and we couldn't have imagined a better way to celebrate!
Throughout the planning process, there were a few times their team had some miscommunication issues or didn't double check some things we had already confirmed which led to us being incorrectly charged, had my partner and I not double checked. Nonetheless, they were helpful in addressing any concerns.
We noted some points below that we felt were worth pointing out:
- The venue is so beautiful that we didn't require much decor, the venue itself made the event pop! Many guests talked about how beautiful the venue was! Though it was a bit further out from our other wedding events in downtown Raleigh, the drive was so worth it.
- Many guests loved the string lights on the driveway up to the venue! Not only was it so beautiful, but it really helped guide the guests into the venue, especially when it's dark and hard to see.
- The cocktail hour space was also a huge hit, especially with the lake in the background--it really helped enhance the venue and the vibes! The string lights, the grass, the beautiful sunset, and the lake all combined made it an incredible evening.

irst stepped onto the grounds, we were truly amazed by how perfect this venue looked, and it is even more amazing in person. From the various beautiful ceremony locations, we chose to have our ceremony down by the water, and our guests were truly in love, not only with this ceremony location but the whole venue. The beautiful scenery is not the only thing that makes this venue a great place to get married; the Pinehill Pavilion team (Brooke Hill & staff) was truly amazing as well. They treated us and our guests with great hospitality throughout the day of our wedding, from start to finish. Their team provided our wedding party with small snacks in the two nice cabins they have onsite on the day of the wedding – these cabins allowed a great area for our wedding party to hang out, relax, get ready, and take great pictures. So, if any couple is contemplating where to host their wedding, Pinehill Pavilion will not disappoint!

an outdoor space for the ceremony and then moved into the building for the reception. There were so many beautiful areas for the photographer to take photos, and it was important to us to find a venue with a nice outdoor space. Everything went smoothly and we had the best time! Everything was ready for the day of the wedding, our planner who works with the venue (Jaz) was amazing, and the hors d'oeuvres and drinks provided by the partnered vendors were so good! Our planner did a great job communicating with our photographer and makeup artist leading up to the wedding, as well as having the schedule perfect for us. Everyone working at Pinehill was receptive to emails and calls leading up to the day and at the wedding. We were really happy with our experience here and would recommend it to anyone planning a wedding or needing an event space.

beautiful venue. It is secluded and quiet, but still a short drive away from major cities. The grounds are immaculate, and with so many ceremony sites to pick from, it must be hard for a couple to choose, but that means that there are so many great backdrops for pictures! The facilities are clean and spacious with a neutral
background for design creativity. My very favorite features of this venue are the "to die for" cottages for the wedding parties to get ready and hang out in. The owners have done an amazing job attending to all the details in design and building, and the competent and qualified staff ensure a wonderful event.

The venue itself is stunning with ...
so many ceremony locations to choose from. Whether you're looking for a garden/forest setting, a water front setting, or a grand ballroom, this venue has it all.
The bridal suites are also worth mentioning - they're impeccably decorated and offer a perfect backdrop for getting ready photos. As a videographer, I always appreciate when the surroundings make my job easier and these suites definitely did.
What really sets this venue apart, though, is the staff. The office manager and on-site certified planner were incredibly helpful and responsive. They were always available to answer questions and provide support whenever needed
Overall, I highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful and stress-free wedding experience. As a wedding videographer, I love working there and look forward to the next opportunity to capture another beautiful wedding.

The staff did an exceptional job and even though it was my first opportunity to officiate at Pinehill, the evening flowed together as if we had done many weddings together already. Having worked with many of their regular vendors before in other settings, I was impressed by the quality of the vendors that work there frequently. I look forward to working there again and believe couples who choose Pinehill will be very glad they did.
