My May 2024 wedding was perfect ... Pinewood Country Club is a beautiful, elegant Venue. The Staff was very professional and helpful.

We could not have been happier than to have our wedding at this venue. The food and staff were very attentive.

Very great team here. Communicated thoroughly for entire experience. I have already recommended a friend, and they will be having their venue at Pinewood as well.

The Sadie Jane was AMAZING!! The venue is simply breathtaking, and the pictures DO NOT do it justice! It’s so beautiful. The staff and wedding coordinators were absolutely amazing! They were available to answer any questions at any time, extremely attentive before, during and after the ceremony and made sure that we were taken care of at all times. We 100% recommend The Sadie Jane for any occasion. Thanks again for making our daughters wedding a dream come true! ❤️

Our wedding load has been lightened by the pleasant and experienced staff at Pinewood Country Club. They've worked with us through every detail giving good, well thought through advice. Pinewood had two options for a wedding venue. We chose the ballroom due to it's reflection of "southern charm". We opted for an out of doors wedding ceremony with the option, due to weather, to be able to move it indoors at the last minute if needed! Following the wedding I'm pondering using this venue for a business event. Great experience all the way around

We had our son’s rehearsal dinner at the Pinewood Country Club on December 14, 2023. Terri H. ,the manager, went above and beyond coordinating the event. She is easy to reach; calling back within the hour ! She helped us decide the decor, table arrangements, menu prep, and guest seating! I called her so many times and she always answered my questions and told me it was no problem ! I made a last minute menu change and asked her opinion and it was the best decision! The food was great! She suggested a plated dinner of steak or Cajun chicken with crawfish cream sauce. They were both a hit! The praline bread pudding will have you asking for seconds. It tasted like a 5 star restaurant! I can’t say enough about the bar tenders and wait staff who were organized, friendly, and courteous! Our 3 hour dinner went by so quickly and no one wanted to leave! They graciously let us stay longer to make last minute plans and to toast the bride and groom to be! I recommend calling and booking early! You can’t beat the price and your experience is going to be amazing!

I can’t express in enough words how amazing this day was. I was so stress having to plan a wedding in less than 3 months due to my husband being in the military. Mrs. Terri was not that I wouldn’t have to worry about a thing. If I had to do it all over again I would do everything just the same. The food, the drinks everything perfect

I cannot say enough good things about choosing Pinewood Country Club as our wedding venue! The space is beautiful and functions and so many different ways. The bridal Suite was big enough for everyone to fit in comfortably and there are enough seats and mirrors for everyone to get ready in the room together. The staff was amazing Ms Terri from start to finish was there for anything I needed. Ms Maria checked on us so many times throughout the day to see if we needed anything at all. Their gentle reminders kept everyone on schedule and helped with the flow of the day overall. If you want a venue that has everything with a great staff as a bonus this is the place you should book.

Pinewood was the perfect venue for our reception! Amazing food (friends and family are still talking about it), beautiful reception hall & bar area. I was so impressed with Terri & my bridal assistants - they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, the schedule ran smoothly & they handled things I would have forgotten or not even realized I needed. Amazing service and made our night one we’ll never forget.

Venue was amazing, team was very professional and made sure we had everything we needed. Had 1 hiccup with the cake delivery and they were on top of it right away getting it fixed. Couldn’t have asked for a better day with this place. Everything turned out amazing!!

Pinewood was absolutely fantastic. The staff made everything incredibly easy. The venue fee includes a day-of coordinator who helped make sure everything ran smoothly. The food is catered by NOLA southern grill and was incredible, we got so many compliments on our food! The space is beautiful - especially the outdoor area near the pool (we chose to do an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception and would not have changed a thing) Everything I wanted, Terri made happen without any issues. The price is also unbelievably affordable for the value you get. Bartenders were amazing. They remembered me and my wedding party's drinks of choice and had them ready for us each time we got to the bar. 10/10 recommend! Booking this venue made my special day so easy and beautiful.

This venue was perfect. Staff went above and beyond to make our day special. Food was excellent! Everything was set up exactly as I pictured.

I could not have been happier with Pinewood. From the cost and all it included to all the attention they gave me. My special day was absolutely perfect. The attendants not only took such good care of me and my groom, they were extremely attentive to our parents as well. The food was delicious and the ballroom was beautiful! I highly recommend this venue.

Pinewood Plantation was the perfect venue to host a bridal shower. The staff were very friendly and extremely attentive to every need even before we knew we needed something. The food was delicious and were extremely flexible in selecting the menu. The room was set up when we arrived and we had to do was add our finishing touches. We had a wonderful stress free afternoon celebrating our bride and many memories were made that we will cherish forever.

As the mother of the groom, Pinewood Plantation was the back drop for my son and daughter in law's rehearsal dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the food in a warm, cozy atmosphere. It was a pleasure working with the entire staff!

I wish there were more stars because I would definitely give them several. The staff at Pinewood went above and beyond what they needed to do to make my son's wedding PERFECT! I would recommend anyone looking for a wedding or special event to give them a call!

Everything was perfect for my wedding day. Terri Haithcock helped me with everything. I couldn't be happier with the memories of a perfect day. Everyone congratulated me on such a beautiful wedding but I could not have done everything without the help and service provided by the staff of the Pinewood Country Club.

Extremely accommodating and professional!! My mom got married there this weekend. The staff were great, the food was great, the venue was great.. everyone had such a wonderful time!! I highly recommend if you are getting married in Slidell.

I can not even begin to tell you how amazing Mrs Terri and her crew at Pinewood are!! We had a wedding planned for May 16, 2020. It had to be rescheduled 3 times before actually happening this May 15. Mrs Terri helped me every step of the way. The place was beautiful decorated. Staff was super friendly and so easy to work with. I would definitely recommend Pinewood over and over again!! I couldn't have asked for a better wedding! It was definitely well worth the year wait!!

Had mt wedding, reception, n rehearsal dinnwe here n it was amazing! Staff was very helpful too. Only thing i didnt like was that a blonde girl who worked there (not the owner, someone else) stepped on the back of my dress n ripped it before I even walked down the aisle n then kinda juar shrugged it off liked it was no big deal to her... other than that everything was great n very cheap considering what many weddings cost!!!

I had my wedding and rehearsed dinner at pinewood last November and everything was amazing. The staff was so great and really went above and beyond. The night before the wedding we went in to do some decorating and I was so impressed how beautiful everything looked all set up. The food was so wonderful, all my guests commented on how delicious everything was. Pinewood by far was the best fit for us, they were very affordable and so professional, Terri and her team truly work so hard to guarantee that the wedding goes as smoothly as possible, I highly recommend them!

Having a wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic has been absolutely disheartening and maddening! BUT!! THANK GOD FOR PINEWOOD PLANTATION AND THEIR STAFF! When our daughter's wedding was canceled in April by the LA governor, Pinewood was so accommodating, kind, and flexible. We rescheduled for July with ease, and they were with us every step of the way with no additional costs! There were also hand sanitizer stations throughout the room, and we felt that they were exceptionally careful and made it a priority to insure the health and safety of our guests! The Reception Hall at Pinewood Plantation was exquisite! It was STUNNINGLY decorated for us! So clean and lovely! We had about 150 guests, and we had plenty of room to dance! AND WE DANCED ALL AFTERNOON! We even had a New Orleans Second Line parade! The food was DELICIOUS! All of our guests, mostly from New Orleans- so they know good food- exclaimed that the food was better than any reception hall that they had ever been to. We chose the 2nd catering package (option) and the food was plentiful, hot, and so good!! We had Seafood Pasta, Glazed Pork Tenderloin, Caesar Salad, Meatballs, spinach and artichoke dip, gumbo, etc. Simply SCRUMPTIOUS!! Soft drinks, iced tea, and water were complimentary. We even had a cash bar for alcoholic beverages too. I challenge you to find better service anywhere!! We had EXCELLENT service and care by Mrs. Terri Haithcock and her staff. They were catering to our every whim and need on the day of the wedding. Terri is so kind and really helped us plan for everything ahead of time. She knew what to ask us and truly knew how to guide our planning despite COVID! She herself was so available and accessible on the day of the wedding! We truly appreciate her and her polite staff! All in all, we HIGHLY recommend Pinewood Plantation to anyone planning a wedding, an anniversary, or any formal or casual party!! Great Staff, Great Food and a Beautiful location!

My daughter got married at Pinewood Plantation on October 10, 2020. Everyone had a great time. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The food was great! I would highly recommend this venue.

I was beyond satisfied with Pinewood Plantation for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. The entire staff was professional and accommodating to all of our needs, especially during this time of covid. Because of covid, the venue for our dinner was changed several times and Pinewood was able to help us have a beautiful dinner. They were punctual and provided a warm atmosphere for our guests. The room was beautiful with nice centerpieces and everything was done as I had asked. Cannot say enough about this beautiful venue!!!

They were very attentive and professional. They handled all of the fine details. Everything was absolutely pegged and beautiful.

Terri is the best. She was always available and ready to help answer all questions and give advice. When needed she would step in to help us decorate and unload all of our stuff into the venue. On the day of the wedding we were blessed with Jocelyn who made sure everything went smoothly and made sure we were always having a great time. I was sad to leave her by the end of the night. It is a great place with awesome people.

My husband and I got married here Saturday, and our wedding was a dream come true. Everything went so smoothly from planning, to the decorations, from the music to the food, and most of all Mrs. Terri and staff WERE AMAZING! EVERYTHING was PERFECT 💜 I could not have asked for more or for anything to be changed. Mrs. Terri made sure I had everything I needed at every second from the moment I walked in, and every day before since we chose The Pinewood Plantation for our wedding venue. We had our wedding at Pinewood June of 2018. It was small being its our second. It was very nice and affordable. The people at Pinewood were very helpful and worked with our budget. We didn't have a large one and I still was able to have a nice wedding. We learned after the fact that we can use the country club additional all year and were very happy all summer using the pool and having birthday parties.

Choosing Pinewood Plantation as our wedding venue was the best decision my husband and I could have made! Mrs. Terri and her team worked extremely hard decorating and making sure everything ran flawlessly. The venue was gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the price was just right for us.I would highly recommend Pinewood Plantation!

Melissa has made the wedding planning process so easy and effortless at Pinewood. They have been so easy to work with and the renovations at Pinewood have completely changed the space. I highly recommend this venue for others because the staff and location are really great. I'm looking forward to my reception there in a few weeks and I want to thank everyone at Pinewood for make this so easy and straightforward.

My fiancé and I had previously planned our wedding at a different venue in the area, but due to circumstances out of our control, we were forced to find a new venue only a few months before the wedding. Terri and the entire team were more than willing to jump in and help us with every detail and ensure that everything was perfect for our big day. I would recommend this venue and this team without hesitation, and we cannot wait to celebrate our big day knowing that they will take care of every detail for us!

Beautiful venue! Management is outstanding,tenative,and show actual care into making you feel special! I would without hesitation recommend them time and time again! Prior to my wedding I've also hosted events there (bridal shower for my sister,etc.) and attended other events as well and have always been more than satisfied with the service, food and overall experience with them!

When we chose Pinewood Plantation for our wedding venue, we were very impressed with the professionalism that our coordinator, Melissa Waln and general manager, Terry displayed. They were very responsive to any questions, as well as helpful. There were a wide variety of menu choices, that were able to customize our choices. Several suggestions were made during the planning of the event that were extremely helpful. I can honestly say that I am looking forward to the event, due to the eye for detail that has been exhibited, as well as the ease of coordinating with Pinewood staff regarding our event. The location is ideal for our venue.

Your attention to our smallest details is so appreciated. Pinewood Plantation is giving our couple both the outdoor wedding with the indoor ballroom for the reception. First of all Everyone who worked there and helped us was wonderful! This was a destination wedding for my family and I Our count was reduced in the last week and they were totally on top of everything. All the adjustments last minute and even day of because of the storms was awesome. they did everything in their power to make sure that the wedding day went well. The food was great and everyone was very friendly they kept in good contact and really helped my vision come true. there were a lot of things that I did that weren't the usual for them and they just rolled with it. I must say Melissa was the super start Thank you so much for making my day special my guest are still talking about how great my vendors and the staff there were.

Way overdue with this review. Everything was absolutely perfect for our wedding. From the moment my bridesmaids and I arrived all the way to the end of the night. Yeah The staff flawlessly executed our wedding to where I didn’t have to stress about anything . The room looked beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the staff was extremely accommodating. 100 percent recommend having your wedding here! It was such a blessing and just so beautiful and everything went so smoothly!

I'm overdue in gushing about the team at Pinewood Ballroom. Louis and Renne saved our wedding. Full stop. Originally we had hired their Nola Southern team to cater our outdoor garden wedding reception. But as the day drew near, a hurricane came headed our way as well. Guests dropped out, and the Nola Southern team reduced our headcount at the last minute before we paid our final deposit. Rain and high winds were predicted and our original venue backed out because they didn't have indoor space for us... and on less than 24 hours notice Louis and team stepped up, offering us full use of their Pinewood Ballroom venue for a fraction of the cost of a tent rental. They staffed it. Upgraded us to premium open bar. And as a category 1 hurricane came bearing down towards us, assured our family that if we came, they would be there -- even knowing we might need to evacuate halfway through. In the end, the eye of the hurricane passed us to the east by a few miles. And we pulled off an incredible wedding party, planned in mere hours. Words cannot express just how grateful we are to the Pinewood Ballroom team-- Louis is a hero and will always hold a special place in our hearts. We'd recommend this venue in a heartbeat because they have more heart than anyone else. Side note: the venue is also well laid out, the food is awesome, the old wood bar is spectacular, and the standard decorations of the space are perfect.
