I loved all of Joanna's photos on her instagram and as soon as I spoke to her, I just got a good feeling and knew right away she was the photographer for us! We had a destination wedding ( we live in Australia, but I am from Florida) in Redondo Beach, California. I needed vendors that were going to be quick to respond and very helpful. Joanna was so much more! I had a layover in LA and after a very busy day of planning she and Claudia took me out to dinner just to get to know me since we hadn't met in person. Closer to the wedding she went to the venues 2 separate times to check out the lighting and best places locations for photos. She even sent me little videos so I could see with captions like "good photo opp here". She even went to check out the park we were taking photos in afterwards because my bestfriend is in a power wheelchair to make sure that she could get around there (she sent me google images, maps and videos I could send to her to double check). On the day, Joanna made us feel so comfortable and after never taking professional photos together - we never felt awkward, we actually had so much fun!! Joanna is very sweet, but she knows when to take charge to get the shots she wants. All of our bridal party and family commented on how professional and f%^king awesome our photographer was. We got our photos within 3 weeks (which is the quickest I have ever heard of!) and love every single one of them.

photographer. About a year ago when we were looking for our engagement and wedding photographer, we came upon Joanna. Booking Joanna was one of the best decisions of the wedding, and she was more than what I can ask for. First of all, her quality/standards are absolutely amazing!!!!!!! For a couple who doesn't pose in our day to day lives, she make sure to coach you during the photo shoot to make you look the very best. One other thing, I really value in Joanna is that she is VERY transparent and keeps you updated every step of the way. I found out during the wedding that some vendors were extremely hard to get a hold of even till the week before the wedding which made me very anxious. However, I have never encountered any problems with Joanna and she definitely went above and beyond to meet my needs. During the ceremony, we all have that one nosy family member who has to have somethings go a certain way. She was so nice to each and every one of them and never shows signs of frustration. There were so many times I made last minute requests and she was able to turn it around within few hours and SAVE MY LIFE!! SHE IS MORE THAN A PHOTOGRAPHER. She really is a genuine, caring and loving photographer who cries with you and laughs with you during the wedding as if it was her own. There are so many things I am thankful for Joanna but one of the best things I have done is booking Joanna for my wedding.

g a photo booth for our guests to have fun and had decided we really didn't need a video of our day. But as time went by the nagging sensation that in fact we would really love to have video over took and we scratched the photo booth and went on the hunt. Luckily it didn't take me long to land at Pink Box. I can say that without a doubt using Pink Box and having Joanna and her team capture our day on video was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Our video came out beyond beautiful and went well above and beyond any expectations I could have ever had. She was easy to work with and accommodating and was truly a nice and kind individual. If you find you have come upon Joanna and you're here reading this review then all I can say is you have come to the right place. Thank you for everything. I will treasure this video forever!

ent shoot - Would it be awkward, should i warn her about my fat angles, what do we do with our hands? Our experience with Pinkbox was phenomenal - comfortable, inviting, and seriously so much fun! Joanna, underneath her laid back persona, is a perfectionist; she really cares that you feel and look amazing during your entire photo/video experience. Joanna gets a feel of what each client is looking for and then lets them do their own thing in front of the camera, sometimes making small suggestions on poses or movement. This girl definitely knows what she is doing. Our engagement photos and Save the Date video was more than I could ask for - dreamy, romantic, and silly all in one bundle. So thank you Pinkbox, for making even us look like professionals in front of the camera. It meant the world to us.

My fiancé and I can be quite awkward in photos so when we would stand in front of the camera with not a single clue what do to do, Joanna and her assistants would jump right in and guide us. They would even demonstrate the pose together just so we could get a visual of the look she envisioned for the shot. Cannot recommend Joanna and her team enough!
