She was responsive to email, easy to work with, and very talented. 2 weeks before the wedding I dropped off a few dozen old glass bottles that we had found in our creek, some small planters/containers, and a slab of cut wood just before the wedding. We had discussed my vision, I had let her know I loved ferns and lavender, and left the rest up to her. The outcome was amazing!!! I was not able to move around in the days before my wedding, so I couldn't help add any direction while we were setting up. When I came down for the wedding, I was blown away. The selections Sally had made were exactly what I had pictured in my head. The shepherd hooks with hanging mason jars lining the aisle, the tables with burlap runners had the various jars and bottles filled with a variety of amazing fresh flowers, and the planters had fluffy healthy ferns. My bouquet of all fresh lavender, and my maid of honor with baby's breath, were perfect. The boutonnieres, wrist corsages for the moms, and accents on the food table... everything was beautifully fresh, healthy looking, and kept in theme. The flowers added so much to the event without taking over. Perfect, thank you Pink Dahlia Vintage!

lovely studio, a little less than a year before my wedding and she helped me to create a floral vision for my wedding. From that moment on everything she did was absolute perfection. She helped create beautiful floral arrangements which reflected the whimsical, ephemeral and elegance of our wedding venue, Cairnwood Estate. From beautiful center pieces, the floral wreath which was placed above our heads for the ceremony, to the attention to detail she paid in getting the bridesmaids' mint ribbons for their bouquets to match their dresses, everything was perfection. Sally was exceptionally professional every step of the way and helped my floral wedding dreams to come alive. I give her the highest recommendation possible. It was a no brainer that with Sally at our side that she would deliver. The most unexpected people made comments about the flowers and my bouquet. As we all know, and I might add I am not one to categorize, but guys are the least to comment on those details, and they were the ones making the best comments about Sally's work. My mother was so floored with all of her work, she could not stop talking about it. She even arranged flowers all over our house, and continued to take pictures of them. ove her vintage style and the pieces that she put together for me. I wanted my bouquet to be very different, not the typical roses, and she made it perfectly. The ribbons that hung down were so pretty as well. The centerpieces I used were half in big gold glass bowls, half in gold candlesticks with gems hanging around them. She even gives a military discount! I will definitely use her for all of my upcoming events where flowers and needed and would recommend her to anyone looking for a great florist.

ew automatically she was the florist for me. She wasn't pushy at all (like some florists can be), but at the same time I could tell she knew what she was talking about. I described my vision and style for my rustic-themed wedding, and she completely understood what I was looking for. I chose to make my centerpieces with lighted branches in vases, just adding a few stems of flowers to each, and Sally worked well with me to make them work. She even had to improvise a little when she ran into some trouble with the battery packs and the water for the flowers, but she didn't bother me and took care of it herself. She went above and beyond to make them look absolutely beautiful. The rest of the flowers were prefect also, and I got many compliments about how pretty they all were. Sally at Pink Dahlia Vintage was such a delight to work with and I couldn't have been happier with her product! With her creativity and reasonable prices, I definitely recommend her to anyone!

On our wedding day the flowers were beautiful! I love that Sally incorporated fresh herbs, making the bouquets look and smell so good! They tried to force us to do things that we just didn’t want to do. They tried to get us to rent a ton of items that had nothing to do with what we were looking for. She genuinely wanted to understand what we were looking for, not just to appease us so she could move on to the next client. She looked through all of our pictures, she responded right away to all of our emails, she helped us scour the internet to find exactly what we wanted, and gave us countless wonderful ideas based off of her professional and extensive knowledge. The day of the wedding, I peaked downstairs as Sally was setting up and my heart stopped. She put in 100 times more work than I had expected. Everything was 100 times more beautiful than I had pictured in my mind. I was blown away and couldn’t decide whether I wanted to cry tears of joy because everything was so stunning or jump with excitement because I couldn’t wait for our friends and family to see the amazing job she had done. Sally was extremely reasonable with her prices and went WAY WAY WAY above and beyond anything we could have imagined or asked for. Everything was delightful and represented my husband and I very well. Sally had showed us pictures of the many other beautiful weddings she had done, and she still managed to make our wedding unique and so meaningful. She doesn’t have one design that she uses for everyone, she builds each couples wedding differently to reflect their personality and style. We got countless compliments on all of the décor she so lovingly prepared for us. Sally made every idea we had stand out & come alive. She is truly and naturally talented. Her kind of talent and passion is not something someone can develop and/or go to school for. They are born with it – and she just has it. Of all of the people involved in our wedding, Sally was by far our most genius choice. She was professional but made us feel like part of her family. My mother (who was part of our planning process) and I both said how sad we were after everything was over that we wouldn’t get to visit with Sally and her sweet kittie, Rosemary, anymore. When I went to Sally at Pink Dahlia Vintage, I was not expecting her to deliver an arrangement over double the size for the centerpieces at a significantly lower price. We even went with a more expensive selection of flowers. There were no hidden "delivery fees" (as experienced elsewhere) and her delivery and set up was perfect (going considerably out of her way even). Her overhead is low as she does all the work out of her home and does not spend a lot on staffing, marketing or a storefront. My wedding was large (anticipated at 280, turned out to be 240), she handled it perfectly. Some of the best things to note: * She listens well and gets to know your style. Is able to offer a lot of ideas and suggestions if you are open to hearing them (I was grateful for her ideas). * She went out of her way to provide additional services to help me on that day. * She enjoys taking extra steps to make your wedding unique (my husband loves craft brew and Sally found interesting ways to put fresh hops on the boutonnieres). * She works with very reputable flower distributers as a registered florist * She is professional and exact and responds to your phone calls/emails quickly (so important when planning for a wedding) * Quality and taste were exceptional. Price was unbelievable compared to other florists in my area. I have already recommended her to two other friends who will likely use Pink Dahlia Vintage for their weddings.
