About this vendor
In 2005, I didn't hire a wedding photographer and regret that most of all. I don't have images that I love or help me re-live all of the emotions and fun things we did!
I started Weirdo Weddings photography to help couples BE themselves and feel comfortable sharing their ideas without judgement and I aim to celebrate WITH you on your entire day, your way!
As of September 2020, I have launched Weirdo Weddings photography as part of my Pink Light Images brand. My fellow weird friends, if you need someone to listen to you and hear your ideas... (no matter how weird) - I'm the one for you!
I am in love with the love we share as couples. Knowing when I’m walking into a wedding of any type/size/shape that love is a factor in the relationships makes my heart fly. My goal is to SERVE you with my heart and my gift as a photographer. It is truly as simple as that.
I love meeting new people and getting to know you a bit and making images special just for YOU and your relationship. I’ve been told a few times that I have helped others see themselves differently. Let’s face it, don’t we all get camera shy sometimes? Well, with me — we make art together and the love and light comes through the images. So, let's talk, how can I help you?

happen and when for my Scarborough Faire wedding. She was able to walk me through it flawlessly. Her photos were amazing and captured exactly what we were feeling in the moment. She got so many silly ones of my nephew too, picking his nose next to the flower girls, that’s a framer for sure!! It’s amazing how much she was able to capture in such a short amount of time, it’s almost as if she were omnipresent. Thank you, Jen for catching these wonderful lifelong memories! I would choose you again and again, you are the absolute best!
Jen is a master in her craft. She has the bedside manner of Southern charm with the gumption of an East Coast jet-set go-getter and exuberates the patience of a warm California sun...

. Additionally, she was able to capture even the smallest moments that meant the world to us. She was unobtrusive yet thorough. Fun (dressed as River Song for our Doctor Who themed wedding) yet professional. I could not have dreamed of better pictures for our Perfect Day.

Oh my goodness. My husband and I are so fortunate to have come across Jen and Pink Light Images! We immediately felt comfortable with her when we all met; she is so fun, cheerful, ...
and professional at the same time. She stayed in touch with us, walking us through ideas and details while being very receptive to the things that are important to us.
Then came a hitch--she found out that she was expecting, and her due date was the day before our wedding! Can I tell you that she went above and beyond to make sure that we weren't left in the lurch! She brought in a partner, introduced us, and went over everything that would both help us and ensure her and her baby's health. She ended up delivering a few weeks early, and, while her partner shot most of the big stuff, Jen STILL rode the two hours to our location and took a lot of photos herself. She is DEDICATED.
We had a fantastic time and felt really comfortable with her. Her style fuses traditional poses, funky attitude, and awesome candids that really capture the spirit of the couple and the guests, and her work is the highest quality (I'm a former photography major, so I'm VERY picky about it!). Long story short, she comes through like a rock star, and you will not be disappointed.
*She also worked on some individual portraits for me, unrelated to the wedding, and they look fantastic.

r my questions via email and to handle all arrangements. On the day of the wedding, she came early and dressed for the fair! Since she had experience photographing at Scarborough, she was helpful with last minute changes and knowledgeable about good photo sites at the fair. During the ceremony, she took lots of photos, but was never intrusive or a distraction. I would absolutely recommend her.

anyone. She catches the right moments for the wedding. My wedding couldn't go any better than it did with her taking the most amazing pictures and the way she took them and the way she caught every single detail of my wedding if it wasn't for my photographer. My wedding couldn't go any amazing with her taking the photography in The Amazing photos of the wedding. She knows exactly what she is doing she will go above and beyond everything to make everything in every picture gorgeous and breathtaking.

gure out exactly what we wanted from our photos, and she absolutely delivered. We've only seen the teasers so far, but we love everything we've seen. Anyone looking for a photographer would be well served by going with Jen at Pink Light Images. She is 100% LGBTQ+ friendly.

k it would be stressful working with an out of state photographer, not at all! I had no stress working with her via email and phone prior to the wedding. She was professional, detailed, punctual and friendly. You can tell she truly loves what she does. I love her free spirited nature and ease while working. I felt so comfortable with Jen, it was like having a friend take our photos. It's crazy because at times I didn't even know she was there at our wedding, that's how stealth she moves around. She was very calming to work with, even on a day with so much going on, I felt like I was in good hands and I just let her do her thing. Do not hesitate to hire Jen for your special day, she will not disappoint.
Jen is the best! Our wedding photos were beautiful!
My wife and I contracted Pink Light Images far in advance of our wedding – just over a year before the date – and having Jen on our team through the planning stages proved an excel...
lent choice. Her prior experience and knowledge was paramount not only in helping us to formulate our own photographic visions and expectations of the event, but her expertise aided us with much of the wedding planning/organization itself. Right off the bat, it was obvious that she was not simply a photographer: Jen represents an incredibly unique artistic spirit whose knowledge of tradition and eagerness to explore the unconventional blend harmoniously. Our wedding – “handfasting,” actually, fashioned after some ancient Celtic traditions – was anything but ordinary, and Jen was more than qualified to capture the sense of wonder and magic in her art; moreover, she helped to create that wonder and shape it with us, whether previously via regular coffee shop rendezvous or through her own trained eye at the event.
It would seem fair to offer some sort of constructive criticism for our vendor, but honestly we can’t think of a single complaint or case of “I wish she’d have done that differently.” Jen is flexible, understanding, demanding when she needs to be (i.e. when the bride and groom are falling behind!), and – perhaps most importantly – just really fun to be around! Her outgoing, fun-loving, and eager personality resonated very truly with us, and we welcomed her active participation at our wedding as a guest just as much as a hired artist. Because she insists on viewing her clients not simply as paying customers, but as real, passionate individuals who deserve only the best representation of the biggest day of their lives, Jen may truly become a friend and lasting connection, if you so choose; we have, and our wedding day (and lives!) are that much richer for it.
Pink Light Images represents vision, experience, and value – both in the monetary sense and, more importantly, with respect to ethical and personal worth. Whether for your wedding day or for any other project or event requiring a professional photographer, we highly recommend Jen!

'rehearsal' to get ideas for the main event images. Jen worked so quickly and smoothly we hardly noticed her (she was never in the way or attracting attention). She spend enough time to get to know our kids (and us) and then captured them for who they really were, nothing haphazard or awkwardly posed. Fantastic images all around! Thank you again Jen. You are now very highly recommended by me and my family! G Judy

e weather was gloomy, cold and put a damper on my day. But Jen put the focus on me and my pictures were amazing! Within hours I had a few pictures to look at and I was blown away. My day was immediately 100% better and I was grinning ear to ear! So when my wedding day finally arrived the photographer was one less thing to worry about.
My wedding was a steampunk theme and Jen was so excited about it. She made her own costume to wear to my wedding, she look amazing! She was full of energy and creativity. Photography was one of the most important things that I wanted at my wedding. The images that I that she captured at my wedding reminded me of the story book! And my husband and I are the star. I am so thankful that I chose Pink Light images to do my photography. These photos will be cherish for a lifetime! Thank you Jen!

e most important things to me was my hair and make up, my dress and it was all for my pictures so of course one of the most important things was my photographer. I couldn't be more happy with Jen. I already knew she was amazing because she did two of my best friends bridals and wedding pictures, so it was a dream come true to get her as my photographer. I was so blessed because my wedding was on a Monday just two days from Christmas and last minute it was just my luck that she was available. She did one of my best friends wedding on Sunday , and mine on Monday and yet just hours after I got to my hotel she was already sending me teaser pictures. Two Weddings back to back and she didn't miss a beat. I love her creativity and ideas when she takes pictures, and oh my goodness the angles that she takes is just really phenomenal. She is such a joy to work with so full of life, sweet and very professional. If you are looking for someone to give you those magazine cover pictures that make people just gasp by how stunning you look in her pictures then this is the photographer for you. I am a picture nut I love my memories and I know good photography, I could tell it was going to be good shots just by the way she was taking them. Please don't look any further I will use her for any and everything. Thank You Ever So Much Pink Light Images

ll the standard shots that we wanted to do, but we then walked around the faire and looked for other beautiful photo opportunities!! She had photo package pricing that was perfect for my needs!!
My husband and I were so lucky to find Jen. We work in the lighting industry and my husband is an amateur photographer, so lighting and composition were extremely important to us. ...
Jen's gallery looked like exactly the kind of photos we wanted for our wedding, and when we met her we knew she was perfect for us. She was excited about the possibilities for our cheese shop reception, and we felt so comfortable with her as a person.
She was extremely communicative and responsive throughout the entire process. I never had to wait to get an email back, and she checked in with me at the appropriate times. On the day of, she and her husband showed up early, and we had time to get all the shots I wanted without feeling rushed. They documented our ceremony beautifully, and we had fun afterwards doing a photo shoot on swings. They were up for anything, and they did an amazing job capturing how happy we were. Many photos are flat-out stunning, and I'll be ordering large prints.
She promised me photos in a month, and exactly one month from our wedding she posted all the edited photos in her gallery. A few days later I got a package in the mail with our thumb drive of photos. I've talked to a lot of brides who got married earlier in September and still haven't received their photos despite being promised them in the same time frame, so I'm grateful that Jen honored her commitment. For the level of quality and professionalism we received, Jen is extremely reasonably priced, and I'd recommend her a thousand times over. If you want a photographer who captures who you are and takes beautiful photos all at the same time, she's the one for you.
Jen was fantastic from the first time I contacted her. I contacted three or four wedding photographers about our Time Travel/Dr Who wedding, and she was the only one who responded ...
with enthusiasm!
When she came to town for a conference (We live in MO and she is from TX) she took time out of her busy schedule to provide us with an engagement shoot on a beautiful day when everyone else decided they had to be outside too! She was relaxed, fun, and really easy to get along with. It was more like hanging out with a friend than being followed around by someone you hired, and she the most awesome photo ideas. She also was very accommodating when we came up with weird and fun ideas. Since her schedule was so packed in March and we couldn't get the one shot we really wanted she offered to come in early before our wedding and do another shoot at no additional charge!
She was very responsive through out the entire wedding process even though we initially contacted her 14 months before our wedding. She emailed when she hadn't heard from us for awhile, and was happy to chat on Skype for anything we needed to go over. She also amended our contract to allow us to use photos for our at-home businesses and for our groomsmen/caterer to be able to us the photos for his resume.
On the day of our wedding she came dressed in rainbow garb and wearing a weeping angel hat! No one had to wonder who our photographer was in order to stay out of her way! She came up with awesome prop shots (we had few props) and some really fun ideas for our port-a-potties turned TARDISes. She also had a wonderful energy that helped calm my anxiety.
Through out the entire time we sent with her my only regret is that the weather never cooperated for the shoot where Jason proposed to me. However, no matter how awesome Jen is, she cannot control the weather!!! I look forward to getting to see her next time she is in town, and the experiences we had with her are ones we will never forget.

Words cannot express our gratitude for Jen! She did everything we request and some. I'm one highly satisfied bride!

n love with her work online so I just e-mailed her out of the blue. I am so glad I did! She is so friendly, fun, and attentive. It was like having an old friend there taking pictures, except her work is beyond professional - phenomenol! She really paid attention to the details of our wedding and our personality, and captured that in her work and throughout the day. She even brought gifts tailored to the theme of our wedding so we could take super amazing wedding party pictures with them. Her work is beautiful and all that I could have asked for - and I've only seen the teasers so far!

engaged we knew that we had to have Jen as our wedding photographer. They are great at capturing all the "traditional" moments as well as taking time with just my husband and myself to capture some truly amazing moments! If your unsure about a photographer look no further because Jen is not only amazing at what she does but is also a blast to have around!!

onth old puppy that we wanted in some of the pictures!
Our wedding was in London, England and when it came time to pick a photographer, we did not think Jen would agree to hop on the 9 hour flight with us to go. About 4 months before the wedding Jen and I were discussing the engagement photos and she asked me who I was using for the wedding. I told her the situation and she said she would love to go! I felt so lucky to not only be having the wedding of my dreams, but also to know in full confidence that the pictures we would have from the day would be spectacular. The whole day went by like a whirlwind, and Jen was so quick and efficient at getting our family ready for pictures and at keeping the pace when we ran into a few time crunches. We also had a cocktail hour right after the ceremony, so unfortunately there was quite a bit of running around involved but she managed to get all of the shots we wanted. After the group and cocktail photos were finished, she worked with my husband and me alone in a secret garden area for 30+ minutes but made sure we were on time for the reception introduction. She made the rest of the day flow so smoothly and was completely unobtrusive to us and the guests.
We got our final pictures back today, and I was so excited to see them! I opened the folder on my computer and the first one I saw was one labeled….. VIDEOS. This girl is so amazing that not only did she deliver the most CREATIVE, MAGNIFICENT, GORGEOUS wedding photos I have ever seen….. she also unknowingly taped some of the most heartfelt moments of the day, from us reading our wedding vows - to my grandfather crying during the toast he was making - to us dancing to Bruno Mars’ Marry You. Wow Jen!!! That is one of the best gifts anyone has ever given us
We are in such awe by Jen’s work, She is hands down the easiest person to work with and you will feel more like you are dealing with a friend than another vendor at your wedding. I knew she had tons of talent when we hired her, but so many of the shots were utterly breathtaking and looked more like they should be in a magazine than in our wedding book. We will be sure to refer her to anyone we know getting married.
Thank you Jen!!!!!!
I have been doing business with Jen and Pink Light Images for many years now and I have trusted them with captivating the most important areas of my life...my clothing business cat...
alog, my family portraits, my linen rental catalog, my god son's baby shower...and most importantly...my wedding!
Every time Jen and team have come through, producing pictures with beauty, imagination and amazing creativity. I've never thought to look to anyone else for my pictures and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!!
Jen, thank you soooo much for documenting my special day so beautifully!

gical or just memorable. You will think you need to read a ton of reviews and search a hundred photography vendors but DONT, choose Jen and you will not be sorry, not even for a second.
Jen and I have a rare story: I was a very lucky lady because I met Jen by fate, I had the pleasure of winning a photo session with Jen at a Bridal Expo in Dallas. When I met her I explained that I wished to turn my photo session into an engagement/wedding session since I had recently become engaged and my fiancé was overseas and we would be married in just a few short months. She was happy to do so, was able to work around the short timeframe and instantly wanted to know my fiancé and mines story and she hung to every word and loved my ideas. She made me feel like her and I were a match made in photo heaven ;) - She made our engagement photo shoot amazing and turned our wedding day photos into art by camera. She will be there throughout your journey as a friend & will want to provide you with all your photo wishes and capture the moments that matter most. She is even great at capturing the moments you didn't know you wanted but they will be bring you laughter, tears and smiles for years to come. She is an amazing artist that will help your wedding dreams become wedding photo bliss. My husband and I could not have been happier with her professionalism, talent, creativity, personality, uniqueness and attention to detail. We had the pleasure of getting her and her husband as our photographers for pretty much our entire wedding day. She takes quick photos and you think well that was fast and then you look at them and your like WOW that just happened, she leaves you speechless with her talent and capabilities. I want to get married all over again just to spend another day full of photography heaven with Jen.
View her website, meet her, you will see that you will not be disappointed and you will have made the best decision. My entire family and I will definitely use her for anything we can in the future. I don't believe that many photographers can do what Jen can do.... Thank you JEN for helping us capture moments we can treasure for a lifetime.
Sincerely a Blissful Bride,
Bailee

Jen Sulak of Pink Light Images was the most influential piece of capturing my wedding in the exact style I was looking for! I had a certain "look" in mind for my photos--I wanted ...
them dreamy-looking and fun, very whimsical, sexy yet subdued, and to focus on the little things, not just my husband and I. I wanted documentation of my day that others would overlook, and that I would never know about, except for the photos. I wanted a very involved photographer who was attentive and creative, yet took my ideas and made them BETTER, workable, and molded them into her style. I wanted Jen Sulak, and when I found her, I was ecstatic!
Before I met Jen I had interviewed many photographers, but realized I was going about it all the wrong way. I was telling them what I wanted in my photos, and the style I liked, and then asking if they could do it. Of course, they all said "Absolutely!", but a quick glance of their work would indicate otherwise.
I remember meeting Jen at a craft fair, on a day I wasn't searching for a photographer. She had a holiday photo booth set up and, on a whim, I stopped and looked at some of her digital photos. Instead of telling her what I wanted, I asked her to describe the type of photographs she captured. And I was impressed!! Without any prompting from me about my tastes, she told me exactly what I wanted to hear! Her work is artistic, unusual, creative, and fun! She employs an immaculate use of light and shadows, angles, and wonderful styles that appear much more cinematic and modern than portrait-style and common! Jen's work looks magical, from the special effects, wide lense shots, use of props, and artistic insight! Plus, the price was PHENOMENOL for all that was included!!
I would recommend Jen and her counterpart and husband, Zak, to anyone who has an artistic eye. Those who want photography that is unique and distinguished, and desire a laid-back and relxed professional who is PASSIONATE about what she does cannot go wrong with Jen! I know that I was a demanding bride, but throughout the year or so leading up to my wedding, Jen always went above and beyond! We stayed in constant contact, shared thoughts, and ultimately, created a perfect gameplan for my engagements, bridals, and wedding day! I could not have been more pleased and know that I will continue to use Jen for all of my photgraphy needs from now on!
If you would like more information about my experience with Pink Light Images, please e-mail or call me; I would love to serve as a reference!

d had not she done our photography. Those candid moments on the wedding day of bride and groom getting ready to family members helping out were are captured by her priceless eye. I can't thank her enough for her love and passion for photography, and even more so, her love for God. She truly is an amazing person to be in the same room with. We're so blessed to have her!
My wedding was Feb 19, 2011 and leading up to the "BIG DAY" a lot of craziness happened. Jen was my angel! She had patience to no end and was so understanding about my situation. W...
hen the day came, Jen captured all of the pictures that I wanted and even those precious moments that are usually missed. She knows how to make something out of nothing, and will be inspired over the smallest things (i. e. a bathroom wall). Jen and Zack took pictures of activities and events that I missed and it was great to see absolutely every shot, angle and image! Especially all of the pictures during the tribute that I made to my grandparents for my father. The images that were taken were priceless! Words cannot express how deeply appreciative I am for this GOD SENT angel! She is a true artist and is thriving in her passion. Most recently, I had a "for his eyes only" photo shoot for our anniversary! It turned out better than I could have imagined! During the shoot, she was professional and up for ideas that I wanted. She also had several of her own that I didn't even think of! She is the jack of all trades! If you are looking for a photographer for your big day, look no more! I promise, you will not be disappointed! Blessings!

ve ever seen. I knew that she would be able to capture my special day in her own unique, artistic way. Not only that, but Jen walked through all the crazy happenings of my day with the most calmest of natures. I felt really safe with her by my side. Getting married can be very nerve-wracking so I know that having someone there with me that understood the importance of what I was doing as well as being able to translate it in an artistic way was a NECESSITY. Jen really cares about her clients and she goes out of her way to serve them. I will ALWAYS have fond memories of my day because of my great experience and beautiful images that Jen captured.

I fell head over heels for her website and her beautiful artistry. I could see that she had just what we needed, and now looking back on the many many shots of our day, I wouldn't change a thing. So many details are preserved, so many smiling family members, and hugs captured; the essence of our wedding was masterfully captured by Pink Light Images, and I would recommend them for any occasion or portrait session. My husband and I giggle when we see a couple flashes of pink in our wedding movie - we know! There's Jen!!

I was shy and didn’t know what to do with my fiancé for our engagement photos, but she made us feel right at ease. She let us pick our site for our engagement photos, then, she did her research and found the perfect spots for fantastic shots.
My bridal pictures came around and the same was true. I picked my location; she made me feel like a model at a shoot! We had so much fun with it. She was very helpful, since posing was awkward for me at first. But, I got better as she coached me along.
The wedding was fantastic, she was there all night. When I received my photos, I saw pictures I had no idea she was even around to shoot. She was stealthy! I have some of the best photos and memories to cherish of the most important day of my life all because of Jen! When I have my first child, and I need family pictures, I will call on her. I will have her take any photos I might need for the rest of my days. She is THE BEST!
Jen is my favorite photographer ever!!! She's professional, has reasonable prices, cares about her clients. She is the epitome of the word artist. I honestly can't say enough go...
od about her. She made me look awesome in my pictures and is lightning speed with getting the pictures back to you. My husband and I hire Jen every time we need a family photo as well. She's an all around photographer in terms of the types of pictures she takes. Call her and get your wedding date on her calendar like yesterday.
My husband proposed to me at my parents’ house on Christmas morning. My husband had my at the time 2 year old son bring me a little gold box while I was cleaning up the chaos after...
opening all the gifts. I was anxious to start looking for the perfect person to capture all the other truly amazing moments that I knew would be created soon!
I came across a bridal show that would be happening just 2 weeks away. Some of the vendors had already posted on the Bridal Show’s Facebook page & Pink Light Images caught my eye immediately!
I spent the next 2 hours going through their Facebook page & website. I was falling in love with not only the wedding photography but the additional art that she had previously created.
Jen was exactly the person I was seeing online when I met her later that month. I introduced myself to her saying, “I’m going to hire you whether you like it or not!” We laughed & had a great time at the bridal show. Her art is so incredibly amazing that I was nervous actually going to meet this astounding artist!
I am very modest & extremely shy. Jen understood this perfectly & promised to make sure I had a great time during my engagement, bridal, & wedding sessions! And she was right! Jen has a way of understanding the person or subject she is working with perfectly. Other than my own insecurities (blush) I had a blast hanging out with her each time. I even signed up to volunteer to help her at a large bridal show as a way of showing my appreciation for helping me see my own beauty and enjoying the entire wedding process.
