If you want someone who is creative and fun then Pink Light Images (Jen) is the right person for the job!! I have had the privilege of working with her twice and have loved both sessions!! My bridal portrait session was so enjoyable! She was flexible in having to reschedule due to the weather and super accommodating even while being pregnant! I just absolutely love her work and I highly recommend her!!

Oh my goodness. My husband and I are so fortunate to have come across Jen and Pink Light Images! We immediately felt comfortable with her when we all met; she is so fun, cheerful, and professional at the same time. She stayed in touch with us, walking us through ideas and details while being very receptive to the things that are important to us. Then came a hitch--she found out that she was expecting, and her due date was the day before our wedding! Can I tell you that she went above and beyond to make sure that we weren't left in the lurch! She brought in a partner, introduced us, and went over everything that would both help us and ensure her and her baby's health. She ended up delivering a few weeks early, and, while her partner shot most of the big stuff, Jen STILL rode the two hours to our location and took a lot of photos herself. She is DEDICATED. We had a fantastic time and felt really comfortable with her. Her style fuses traditional poses, funky attitude, and awesome candids that really capture the spirit of the couple and the guests, and her work is the highest quality (I'm a former photography major, so I'm VERY picky about it!). Long story short, she comes through like a rock star, and you will not be disappointed. *She also worked on some individual portraits for me, unrelated to the wedding, and they look fantastic.

I am extremely late writing my review. Jen photographed my wedding last May at Scarborough Renaissance Fair. She was wonderful! Before the wedding, she was always quick to answer my questions via email and to handle all arrangements. On the day of the wedding, she came early and dressed for the fair! Since she had experience photographing at Scarborough, she was helpful with last minute changes and knowledgeable about good photo sites at the fair. During the ceremony, she took lots of photos, but was never intrusive or a distraction. I would absolutely recommend her.

Me and my husband can't stop talking about our perfect pictures. Jen has made the most breath taking pictures, its just unbelievable. I am always amazed by her, every time I have pictures that need to be taken she is my go to gal. I love you and I suggest that anyone who is looking for an amazing pictures to stop looking and talking to her, she makes life easier and less stressful.

There are not enough starts for this amazing woman. She photography is breathtaking. She is so sweet. She is very artistic and her photography is better than what I've seen with anyone. Jen with Pink Light Images truly was a pleasure to work with on our wedding day and the days leading up to our wedding. Jen flew to San Diego to capture our wedding. You would think it would be stressful working with an out of state photographer, not at all! I had no stress working with her via email and phone prior to the wedding. She was professional, detailed, punctual and friendly. You can tell she truly loves what she does. I love her free spirited nature and ease while working. I felt so comfortable with Jen, it was like having a friend take our photos. It's crazy because at times I didn't even know she was there at our wedding, that's how stealth she moves around. My wife and I contracted Pink Light Images far in advance of our wedding – just over a year before the date – and having Jen on our team through the planning stages proved an excellent choice. Her prior experience and knowledge was paramount not only in helping us to formulate our own photographic visions and expectations of the event, but her expertise aided us with much of the wedding planning/organization itself. Right off the bat, it was obvious that she was not simply a photographer: Jen represents an incredibly unique artistic spirit whose knowledge of tradition and eagerness to explore the unconventional blend harmoniously. Our wedding – “handfasting,” actually, fashioned after some ancient Celtic traditions – was anything but ordinary, and Jen was more than qualified to capture the sense of wonder and magic in her art; moreover, she helped to create that wonder and shape it with us, whether previously via regular coffee shop rendezvous or through her own trained eye at the event. It would seem fair to offer some sort of constructive criticism for our vendor, but honestly we can’t think of a single complaint or case of “I wish she’d have done that differently.” Jen is flexible, understanding, demanding when she needs to be (i.e. when the bride and groom are falling behind!), and – perhaps most importantly – just really fun to be around! Her outgoing, fun-loving, and eager personality resonated very truly with us, and we welcomed her active participation at our wedding as a guest just as much as a hired artist. Jen at Pink Light Images was such a pleasure to work with! She met with our kids for their engagement pictures and we know from then on, things would great. We got the most beautiful photos from our wedding. My wife and I were more than pleased with the value, proffesionalism, and quality of services we received. In my favorite photo Jen actually caught a tear falling from my wifes eye as we had our heads together to pray.

Jen photographed my best friend's wedding the year before mine. So I knew from the start that Jen would be my photographer. I was very excited to have my bridal photos taken but the weather was gloomy, cold and put a damper on my day. But Jen put the focus on me and my pictures were amazing! Within hours I had a few pictures to look at and I was blown away. My day was immediately 100% better and I was grinning ear to ear! So when my wedding day finally arrived the photographer was one less thing to worry about. My wedding was a steampunk theme and Jen was so excited about it. She made her own costume to wear to my wedding, she look amazing! She was full of energy and creativity. Photography was one of the most important things that I wanted at my wedding. Wedding Date 12/22/2014 It was suppose to be a simple courthouse wedding as my husband is military we had very little time to put much together. Although there wasn't much time the most important things to me was my hair and make up, my dress and it was all for my pictures so of course one of the most important things was my photographer. I couldn't be more happy with Jen. I already knew she was amazing because she did two of my best friends bridals and wedding pictures, so it was a dream come true to get her as my photographer. I was so blessed because my wedding was on a Monday just two days from Christmas and last minute it was just my luck that she was available. She did one of my best friends wedding on Sunday , and mine on Monday and yet just hours after I got to my hotel she was already sending me teaser pictures. Two Weddings back to back and she didn't miss a beat. I love her creativity and ideas when she takes pictures, and oh my goodness the angles that she takes is just really phenomenal. She is such a joy to work with so full of life, sweet and very professional. If you are looking for someone to give you those magazine cover pictures that make people just gasp by how stunning you look in her pictures then this is the photographer for you. I am a picture nut I love my memories and I know good photography, I could tell it was going to be good shots just by the way she was taking them. Jen took some beautiful shots of our wedding at the Scarborough Renaissance Festival! I love her creativity and all the ideas for different shots we could do. Not only did she do all the standard shots that we wanted to do, but we then walked around the faire and looked for other beautiful photo opportunities!! She had photo package pricing that was perfect for my needs!!

My husband and I were so lucky to find Jen. We work in the lighting industry and my husband is an amateur photographer, so lighting and composition were extremely important to us. Jen's gallery looked like exactly the kind of photos we wanted for our wedding, and when we met her we knew she was perfect for us. She was excited about the possibilities for our cheese shop reception, and we felt so comfortable with her as a person. She was extremely communicative and responsive throughout the entire process. I never had to wait to get an email back, and she checked in with me at the appropriate times. On the day of, she and her husband showed up early, and we had time to get all the shots I wanted without feeling rushed. They documented our ceremony beautifully, and we had fun afterwards doing a photo shoot on swings. They were up for anything, and they did an amazing job capturing how happy we were. Many photos are flat-out stunning, and I'll be ordering large prints. She promised me photos in a month, and exactly one month from our wedding she posted all the edited photos in her gallery. A few days later I got a package in the mail with our thumb drive of photos. I've talked to a lot of brides who got married earlier in September and still haven't received their photos despite being promised them in the same time frame, so I'm grateful that Jen honored her commitment. For the level of quality and professionalism we received, Jen is extremely reasonably priced, and I'd recommend her a thousand times over. If you want a photographer who captures who you are and takes beautiful photos all at the same time, she's the one for you.

Jen was fantastic from the first time I contacted her. I contacted three or four wedding photographers about our Time Travel/Dr Who wedding, and she was the only one who responded with enthusiasm! When she came to town for a conference (We live in MO and she is from TX) she took time out of her busy schedule to provide us with an engagement shoot on a beautiful day when everyone else decided they had to be outside too! She was relaxed, fun, and really easy to get along with. It was more like hanging out with a friend than being followed around by someone you hired, and she the most awesome photo ideas. She also was very accommodating when we came up with weird and fun ideas. Since her schedule was so packed in March and we couldn't get the one shot we really wanted she offered to come in early before our wedding and do another shoot at no additional charge! She was very responsive through out the entire wedding process even though we initially contacted her 14 months before our wedding. She emailed when she hadn't heard from us for awhile, and was happy to chat on Skype for anything we needed to go over. She also amended our contract to allow us to use photos for our at-home businesses and for our groomsmen/caterer to be able to us the photos for his resume. On the day of our wedding she came dressed in rainbow garb and wearing a weeping angel hat! No one had to wonder who our photographer was in order to stay out of her way! She came up with awesome prop shots (we had few props) and some really fun ideas for our port-a-potties turned TARDISes. She also had a wonderful energy that helped calm my anxiety. Through out the entire time we sent with her my only regret is that the weather never cooperated for the shoot where Jason proposed to me. However, no matter how awesome Jen is, she cannot control the weather!!! I look forward to getting to see her next time she is in town, and the experiences we had with her are ones we will never forget.

Amazing!!! I wanted our photos to look like a fairy tale and Pink Light Images did exactly that. The photographer is super friendly and made us feel comfortable around the camera! Words cannot express our gratitude for Jen! She did everything we request and some. I'm one highly satisfied bride!

Jen was, hands down, the best decision I made for my wedding (out of a day chock full of lovely vendors!). We didn't think we could afford a professional photographer, but I fell in love with her work online so I just e-mailed her out of the blue. I am so glad I did! She is so friendly, fun, and attentive. It was like having an old friend there taking pictures, except her work is beyond professional - phenomenol! She really paid attention to the details of our wedding and our personality, and captured that in her work and throughout the day. She even brought gifts tailored to the theme of our wedding so we could take super amazing wedding party pictures with them. Her work is beautiful and all that I could have asked for - and I've only seen the teasers so far!

Then pick Jen!!! We love, love, love Jen and her Hubby! They did an amazing job with not only our wedding but our friend's wedding where we got the chance to meet Jen. Once we got engaged we knew that we had to have Jen as our wedding photographer. They are great at capturing all the "traditional" moments as well as taking time with just my husband and myself to capture some truly amazing moments! If your unsure about a photographer look no further because Jen is not only amazing at what she does but is also a blast to have around!!

Jen and Zak took our engagement photos in June and not only did an absolutely AMAZING job capturing the look we had in mind, but were so patient and sweet in dealing with our six-month old puppy that we wanted in some of the pictures! Our wedding was in London, England and when it came time to pick a photographer, we did not think Jen would agree to hop on the 9 hour flight with us to go. About 4 months before the wedding Jen and I were discussing the engagement photos and she asked me who I was using for the wedding. I told her the situation and she said she would love to go! I felt so lucky to not only be having the wedding of my dreams, but also to know in full confidence that the pictures we would have from the day would be spectacular. The whole day went by like a whirlwind, and Jen was so quick and efficient at getting our family ready for pictures and at keeping the pace when we ran into a few time crunches. We also had a cocktail hour right after the ceremony, so unfortunately there was quite a bit of running around involved but she managed to get all of the shots we wanted. After the group and cocktail photos were finished, she worked with my husband and me alone in a secret garden area for 30+ minutes but made sure we were on time for the reception introduction. She made the rest of the day flow so smoothly and was completely unobtrusive to us and the guests. We got our final pictures back today, and I was so excited to see them! I opened the folder on my computer and the first one I saw was one labeled….. VIDEOS. This girl is so amazing that not only did she deliver the most CREATIVE, MAGNIFICENT, GORGEOUS wedding photos I have ever seen….. she also unknowingly taped some of the most heartfelt moments of the day, from us reading our wedding vows - to my grandfather crying during the toast he was making - to us dancing to Bruno Mars’ Marry You. Wow Jen!!! That is one of the best gifts anyone has ever given us  We are in such awe by Jen’s work, She is hands down the easiest person to work with and you will feel more like you are dealing with a friend than another vendor at your wedding. I knew she had tons of talent when we hired her, but so many of the shots were utterly breathtaking and looked more like they should be in a magazine than in our wedding book. Jen Sulak of Pink Light Images was the most influential piece of capturing my wedding in the exact style I was looking for! I had a certain "look" in mind for my photos--I wanted them dreamy-looking and fun, very whimsical, sexy yet subdued, and to focus on the little things, not just my husband and I. I wanted documentation of my day that others would overlook, and that I would never know about, except for the photos. I wanted a very involved photographer who was attentive and creative, yet took my ideas and made them BETTER, workable, and molded them into her style. I wanted Jen Sulak, and when I found her, I was ecstatic! Before I met Jen I had interviewed many photographers, but realized I was going about it all the wrong way. I was telling them what I wanted in my photos, and the style I liked, and then asking if they could do it. Of course, they all said "Absolutely!", but a quick glance of their work would indicate otherwise. I remember meeting Jen at a craft fair, on a day I wasn't searching for a photographer. She had a holiday photo booth set up and, on a whim, I stopped and looked at some of her digital photos. Jen was amazing, no other way to describe it. Her electric personality, and ability to capture to best moments and sheer instinct. Our wedding would not have been as well documented had not she done our photography. Those candid moments on the wedding day of bride and groom getting ready to family members helping out were are captured by her priceless eye. My wedding was Feb 19, 2011 and leading up to the "BIG DAY" a lot of craziness happened. Jen was my angel! She had patience to no end and was so understanding about my situation. When the day came, Jen captured all of the pictures that I wanted and even those precious moments that are usually missed. She knows how to make something out of nothing, and will be inspired over the smallest things (i. e. a bathroom wall). Jen and Zack took pictures of activities and events that I missed and it was great to see absolutely every shot, angle and image! Especially all of the pictures during the tribute that I made to my grandparents for my father. The images that were taken were priceless! Words cannot express how deeply appreciative I am for this GOD SENT angel! She is a true artist and is thriving in her passion. I was thrilled to have Jen and her hubby shoot my wedding. I am also a wedding photographer so I think it means a lot that I choose her specifically. Jen has an eye like noone I've ever seen. My husband and I met over ten years ago, and a couple of summers ago, we finally decided to get married. A year a half later, the date was fast approaching and we needed someone special to capture the magic of our wedding day. I contacted Jen after asking around and someone recommended her to me. I was cautious at first, being that I have never used a professional photographer before. But, after I looked at her web site, I immediately knew I wanted her. I was looking for someone who was not into “classic” wedding photography. She had her own artsy spin on everything she touched and it was awesome. I was shy and didn’t know what to do with my fiancé for our engagement photos, but she made us feel right at ease. She let us pick our site for our engagement photos, then, she did her research and found the perfect spots for fantastic shots. My bridal pictures came around and the same was true. I picked my location; she made me feel like a model at a shoot! We had so much fun with it. She was very helpful, since posing was awkward for me at first. But, I got better as she coached me along. The wedding was fantastic, she was there all night. When I received my photos, I saw pictures I had no idea she was even around to shoot. She was stealthy! I have some of the best photos and memories to cherish of the most important day of my life all because of Jen! When I have my first child, and I need family pictures, I will call on her. I will have her take any photos I might need for the rest of my days. She is THE BEST!

Jen is my favorite photographer ever!!! She's professional, has reasonable prices, cares about her clients. She is the epitome of the word artist. I honestly can't say enough good about her. My husband proposed to me at my parents’ house on Christmas morning. My husband had my at the time 2 year old son bring me a little gold box while I was cleaning up the chaos after opening all the gifts. I was anxious to start looking for the perfect person to capture all the other truly amazing moments that I knew would be created soon! I came across a bridal show that would be happening just 2 weeks away. Some of the vendors had already posted on the Bridal Show’s Facebook page & Pink Light Images caught my eye immediately! I spent the next 2 hours going through their Facebook page & website. I was falling in love with not only the wedding photography but the additional art that she had previously created. Jen was exactly the person I was seeing online when I met her later that month. I introduced myself to her saying, “I’m going to hire you whether you like it or not!” We laughed & had a great time at the bridal show. Her art is so incredibly amazing that I was nervous actually going to meet this astounding artist! I am very modest & extremely shy. Jen understood this perfectly & promised to make sure I had a great time during my engagement, bridal, & wedding sessions! And she was right! Jen has a way of understanding the person or subject she is working with perfectly. Other than my own insecurities (blush) I had a blast hanging out with her each time. I even signed up to volunteer to help her at a large bridal show as a way of showing my appreciation for helping me see my own beauty and enjoying the entire wedding process.
