e had my wedding at a different venue so I could hire a different photographer. Amanda was very kind and responsive until I paid my first down payment and signed a contract. During this time we had selected a date and I asked to have our engagement photos in downtown Saint Augustine. She agreed that this was good. She then stopped replying to my messages. The only messages she would send me were small discounts if I paid the rest of my photography fee early. Luckily, my hair stylist had her contact information and was able to get in touch with her because the day before our engagement photos I still had not heard back on what time or what place we would be meeting in st augustine. She then called the day of our photos and asked to change the photo location to Fernandina. I agreed and tried to just go with it because I did not feel like arguing. These pictures turned out well and we had no issue. Actually, she even requested a call and told me she loved my fiancé and I so much that she wanted to use us as her models for an ad in return for a discount on the rest of our wedding photo payment. We agreed and then she never spoke again about this. I let this go. Then came time for our timeline phone call in which she rescheduled the morning of after the time it was set to begin. I also let this go and opened up more time in my busy schedule for another call. The day of the wedding came & she spent almost the entire time I got ready taking “detail shots”. I, as the bride, had to ask her 3 separate times if she could take pictures of the moms opening special gifts my husband and I had ordered them. Every time I asked she would say no because she had to take detail shots. She took these for hours. It has now been 25 weeks since my wedding. I was promised all photos between 8-10 weeks of my wedding day if not at least by the 12 week mark. I had to reach out multiple times requesting updates on when I would receive my photos. After the 12 week mark, I ended up reaching out to my wedding planner (we got married at an all inclusive) and she had to get the head planner involved. Even after this, I only received some of the photos back. I had to request multiple times and each time she made excuses. Quick note- we were her 1st wedding of the season. Finally I received a bulk of the photos, but I am still to the day missing multiple important photos - detail shots of a table I made for our grandparents (all of which have passed & meant a ton to us), a first look with my dad, detail shots of our sweetheart table, detail shots of our invitation suite, & also the reason I paid her extra for a second photographer & that was to get photos of my husband as I walked down the isle! I have given Amanda 25 weeks (more than double the time) to get me these photos! I have texted multiple times, gotten the planners involved & still nothing. She has ignored several of my texts. In the end, I am just so thankful we hired a videographer & that we at least have that treasure forever despite not having our photos. I have tried so hard to give Amanda every chance possible, as I fully understand that things happen, but I simply do not think this type of business ethic is okay or morally right. I do not wish this upon anyone. Invest in a good photographer & someone you can truly trust.

one my maternity photos and my daughters newborn and one year photos as well as some family photos and mommy and me photos. She has always done her very best to work with scheduling, at the end of the day we’re all human and things come up. She’s so great with directing to make sure the photos turn out the best and there is just something about how her photos turn out that I absolutely love. She’s so upbeat and makes taking pictures so much less stressful and awkward.
