Selah was absolutely amazing and I recommend her to anyone asking! The day of and every trial it felt as if she was one of my bridesmaids and just went with the flow. She listens to every concern you might have and she is willing to fix it no questions asked! She was very flexible too. None of my bridesmaids knew what they wanted done with their hair, and she helped them figure out what was comfortable for them. My hair and makeup held perfectly all day even with a hot outdoor ceremony, and reception until 10pm. It even held for our "after party" or going and eating at IHOP!
Selah was amazing! She is very welcoming and sweet. All of my girls and the moms loved getting ready with her. She asked us for inspo pics going into it. She followed everyone's request to a T. We even threw a little wrench in by adding my grandma last minute and she was so sweet to her. Selah is a wonderful make up artist and person. I highly recommend her for anyone!

After a year of learning the ropes at Serendipity Hair Salon in Mattoon, I followed my passion and opened my own salon, GingerSnips, where I spent three years as a full service salon-color, cuts and bridal work. Over time, I realized my true calling is bridal beauty, so I went all-in with Pinky Promise Bridal—a full-time, bridal-focused business where hair and makeup are my entire focus.
I specialize in romantic hairstyles and natural-to-soft-glam makeup that lasts all day and photographs beautifully. I love working with brides who have a vision, are excited about their look, and are ready to enjoy the experience. My mornings are filled with a mix of bubbly energy and calm organization, making sure you feel confident, pampered, and radiant from the first photo to the last dance.
