I brought three pairs of trousers to have the legs shortened. I tried all three pairs on and they were measured and pinned. When i got them back all there pairs were different, one pair was close. The others two pair needed to be redone. I now have three pair of pants with one leg shorter than the others. Needless to say they will never see me again.

Christina at Pins & Needles altered my wedding dress after being recommended to them by my bridal salon (Marry & Tux bridal! ) and did a fantastic job! There was a lot to alter on my dress, particularly the top, since I am short (4’8”) and it was beaded. She took her time and made sure it was a princess dress that I was going to be comfortable in all night long. She explained everything she was doing to me and was very personable. Her booking process was very easy and smooth and she did a great job steaming the dress and veil before packing it up for me. I cant say enough about Christina. We ordered our dresses in February 2020 and didn't try them on again until August of 2021! She was amazing and made us feel beautiful even though the dresses were a tad tight (thanks pandemic!) When we went to our appointments she made sure there was curtain so we didn't see each other before the big day. The conversations we had were so memorable and Christina holds a special place in my heart. I can't wait to work with her again for any of my alteration needs.

Christina was so great to work with. She did alterations for my wedding dress and rehearsal dress. She made sure my wedding dress fit perfectly! Even a few days before my wedding when I was looking at photos and wanted more taken in - she was so accommodating and worked quickly to fit me in and alter my dress so that it fit as perfectly as I hoped it would. Everyone was in awe of my dress on the day of and said it was meant for me - that is all in part to Christina's fabulous alteration skills! I brought my rehearsal dress to her less than one week before our wedding and she was able to make it fit like a glove! I received so many compliments on it.

Christina and her staff... WOW beyond amazing work! The alteration process was done with no stress and complete trust. My dress turned out better then I could have imagined. The communication, time, attention to details for what I needed was like no other. The appointments were easy and fun!

Christina is absolutely amazing! She did an incredible job on my wedding dress and made of honor dress. Christina had worked her magic and without any hesitation was able to get me in last minute to do alterations on my maid of honor dress that I had to wear in the same week. I highly recommend Christina and her team!

Christina did an amazing job altering my wedding dress. It fit perfectly, and she was extremely careful. I could not have been more happy with her work. I was even complimented on how elegant the bustle looked! I am incredibly happy I made the decision to take my dress to Pins and Needles!

Christina did such an incredible job tailoring my wedding dress! I asked her to totally customize the back of the dress. She created a keyhole back that was EXACTLY what I wanted. She was patient and accommodating throughout the entire process. She also did a beautiful job taking in the dress to fit me perfectly. I LOVED my dress - thank you Christina!

Christina made my wedding dress, and I could not have been more pleased!! The dress was everything I wanted and more, from the lace to the beads, it was better than I envisioned. I received so many compliments, and I felt absolutely gorgeous in it. She and her team are incredibly talented...

She did a great job at fixing my dress to fit better but wish my bustle was explained better we had a hard time figuring it out so if you go with her. Ask and take notes about bustle

I regret bringing my wedding gown here. She butchered the alterations and rushed me every appointment. And she overcharges. I can say that because I had to get a romper re-hemmed after the job she did came un-done after dry cleaning it. A tailor who messes up helming? Yikes stay away!

Owner Christina Alpuche has over 25 years experience working in the bridal industry. For six years she worked with the prestigious L. H. Rogers of Salem, Massachusetts until L. H. Rogers moved to Newbury Street in Boston. Not wanting to drive the commute Christina joined Lorraine Roy's Bridal shop in Danvers, Massachusetts. Christina was not only the in-house seamestress for Lorraine Roy but she also worked in sales. Christina worked for Lorraine Roy for 18 years until she opened Pins and Needles in Danvers, Massachusetts in 2008.
