Carly and Lauren are so professional/amazing at what they do and literally will make your vision come to life. Both are so easy to talk to and work with and I can't imagine using anyone else for hair and makeup on my big day!

rrived early and kept us on time all day. We finished early, allowing extra time for photos before we left. Everyone looked gorgeous, and I felt absolutely beautiful. One of my bridesmaids even commented that she felt more beautiful than she did on her own wedding day :) Thank you, Lauren & Carly!

ID. She is so friendly and easy to talk to. I felt completely at ease during my trial with her and left feeling extremely excited to have her and Lauren for my big day. I was really impressed with how organized Carly was in staying ahead of schedule on the wedding day. She did the hair of my 5 bridesmaids, mom and myself. Everyone picked unique styles and they all looked flawless! On my wedding day I seriously have never felt more beautiful in my life. I will never forget this! If you want to feel confident that you are in the best hands, you should definitely hire Pins-N-Brushes!!

planned for our wedding to be held at an upscale hotel in DC, but we quickly had to change course about 8 weeks before our wedding. She was one of the great vendors that I didn't want to lose through all of the wedding rework. Thankfully, Carly and team were still willing to do our hair and makeup for the wedding!!! She's super responsive, insanely flexible, and just an all-around great person! My sister and I were lucky enough to get our hair cut and colored just a couple days before the wedding and we had such a great time getting to know each other. They were on time, completely prepared (and even wore masks), and were just so considerate and made sure we were all set and had everything we needed (I think she even made sure I had eaten something haha). They were troopers for doing hair and makeup with three younger girls plus my older sister and me - they made little tweaks as requested and did it all ON TIME! I 1000% recommend...I now live in TN and will absolutely be visiting her again for a cut and just to catch up the next time I head to MD to see family. <3

t 6 or so weeks until my wedding. My engagement was all of three months so I was in panic mode and really very concerned I wouldn’t find someone I liked let alone trusted to do my hair on my wedding day! Carly immediately jumped right in working with me to set up my consultation for a date and time that worked with my schedule as I would have to travel an hour to her and had a crazy work and wedding schedule. On the day of my trail it was literally pouring and windy and Carly was SO hospitable and did a beautiful job on my hair! She was knowledgeable and kind and accommodating from day one. A few days from my wedding I frantically texted Carly worries about my face looking too fat in pictures and she was ready with not only reassurance but a determination that literally calmed me almost immediately. She sent over other hair options and promised it would be nothing short of amazing b/c she wouldn’t let it be any other way! On the day of the wedding Carly showed up on time and attended to 4 other people before it was time for my hair. Each girl looked amazing! My hair was stunning! I had extensions added that Carly helped me purchase to add length as well as thickness to my hair. Rain seemed to be a common factor when it came to my wedding and the day of was no different! My wedding was entirely diy and put on with the help of friends and Carly volunteered to stay after she was done doing hair to help set up b/c we were running behind! I mean literally how sweet? In any case Carly sat with me with I got dressed and did make up and was just a calming and gentle force. She put my head band and birdcage on me and even stayed right up until I was about to walk down the aisle. The service I received was beyond 5 stars! Carly is talented, attentive, professional, kind, innovative and thinks really well on her feet! I would and will recommend Carly and her team to anyone in need of hair and make up services! In my opinion she is the BEST choice!

for extra time just in case there were some pre wedding touch ups needed. I have very thick and often frizzy hair and was very nervous about being in an outdoor wedding and having my hair stay in place but Carly helped me pick the perfect style for my hair and didn’t mind at all when another one of their girls changed their mind about what style they wanted at the last minute. She was so sweet and very professional. Thanks to her we all looked gorgeous all night and my hair stayed just the way I wanted it to all night!! I highly recommend using Pins-N-Brushes!

like I wanted. Carly was great on wedding day too, she arrived precisely on time and styled myself and 5 girls with plenty of time left for touch-ups. My maid-of-honor said she had never seen a stylist be so efficient! I would definitely use Carly anytime I have a special event or celebration!

d have imagined. Carly was so responsive to every email and question I had leading up to the wedding. I had 9 bridesmaids and 2 mom's getting their hair and make up done also and they did a great job with everyone! They were also very personable and fun to talk to while we were all getting ready. I had such a great experience with Carly that I am going soon to her salon to get balayage for the first time! Pins N Brushes was affordable and definitely not lacking in quality. I would highly recommended them to anyone looking for hair and make up for their wedding!

. I showed Starr a picture of the hair and within 15 minutes she did my hair PERFECTLY, these ladies were very professional and skilled. I wish they could do my hair all the time!

ne in a timely manner and even had time for touch ups and one girl decided she wanted a braid last minute and Kait redid it and gave her exactly what she wanted STILL in a timely manner! We showed them pictures of what we liked and they asked what exactly we liked about it which I thought was awesome. Hair was one less thing we had to worry about on my friends big day! 10/10 would recommend!!!

what my dress looked like, and definitely unsure of what I wanted my hair to look like. She was so helpful and did not mind me changing my mind multiple times. She became my go-to hairdresser for cut, color, etc. I have never had a more kind, caring, dedicated hairdresser before! Eventually, I decided I wanted to wear my hair down, curled. Since my hair does not hold curl well, Carly helped me order extensions. She also worked all week before the wedding to ensure the extensions matched the color of my hair perfectly. I had never worn extensions before and am always nervous to color my hair out of fear that it won't look natural. It seemed as though Carly cared just as much as I did! She always wanted to make sure I was happy. I am SO thankful for her! On the wedding day, Kait and Carly were punctual, stuck to the timeline, and gave all of my bridesmaids the perfect updos. Kait made me feel like a model that I most definitely did not recognize. My hair held the entire night---(on a warm August day!) I would highly recommend both ladies and I cannot thank them enough! My wedding party loved them! xoxo
