Piotrowski Strings

Anna began violin lessons at the age of 5, performed at her first wedding at the age of 12, and knew shortly thereafter that she was going to pursue a career as a professional violinist! She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Violin Performance and a minor in Performing Arts Management from the University of Michigan, then her Master's Degree in Violin Performance from DePaul University. She has had amazing opportunities to perform with Kygo, Sigur Ros, Bailen, Moein, and other notable performances including for Vanderpump Rules star Tom Schwartz, and Married At First Sight's Dr. Pia's very own wedding! In 2020, Anna ventured into the wedding and private event industry, and by 2024, she had the exciting opportunity to expand into Piotrowski Strings to meet the growing demand for her services! She is proud to offer a team of premier string musicians that are talented, experienced, and reliable. Piotrowski Strings is honored to be featured in The Knot's Hall of Fame as well as a 4-time recipient of WeddingWire's Couples Choice Award, a 4-time recipient of the Best of Zola Award, and consistently named a Top Performer on GigSalad. Anna is also passionate about orchestral music and music education. She is an alumni of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and a substitute with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, and her teaching experience spans over a decade. Her current teaching position is Adjunct Professor at Harold Washington College as well as a private teacher to students of many ages. Anna loves creating special moments through music of any genre, and is grateful for any opportunity to share that with an audience!
