I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Piper, owner and photographer of Piper Anne Photo! I take pride in serving my clients well through authentic, storytelling, and intentional imagery. These three words hold the foundation of my business, and why I do what I do. Ultimately, I'm here to serve you— to document your most precious moments in life. It is in my heart to serve, and to love others, and photography allows me to do just that. It's so rewarding to preserve moments in time for the precious souls I have the honor of creating with

This is more than pictures: This is about your love story, how you love, and why you laugh together—these are the moments that speak of the true essence of your relationship. I don't want you to just remember how your wedding day looked, I want you to remember how it felt. I'm here to bring you real, authentic, and candid imagery— never anything forced because that's not what I do here. You deserve photos that make the hair on your arms stand up, and the happy tears run down your cheeks. Let's tell the story of your love in the most beautiful and authentic way.
Day by day, I'm continually inspired by the Creator. His perfect mercies are painted across every sky; His blessings found within the flight of a birds wing; and the beautiful complexity of His love found within every human interaction. I've always felt created to create, because I create for the creator.
I’m a homemaker by nature. I long to create a space where all feel welcome and at home. I want my work to feel the same way— I want you to feel welcome and wanted here. This is a safe, comfortable, and inviting space. This is a place where you can metaphorically kick off your shoes, cozy up inside a blanket by the fireplace and sip on a warm cup of coffee.

We received our photos last week, and we've been swamped with praise from everyone for how beautiful they turned out! We LOVE our photos - I've been scrolling through them all week...
with a goofy smile :) Piper was the perfect choice for our wedding day. She is a ray of sunshine yet very professional in her communications and in person. My husband and I live across the country from our venue, and Piper was willing to substitute some parts of the package that we couldn't pull off (such as the engagement shoot) for other services. In the months leading up to our wedding, she sent cute check-in questionnaires to get to know us better, set up logistics such as who is included in family formals, and learn our personalities and how we'd like to be captured. She was also flexible the day of the ceremony. For example, she was willing to do our first look and on-campus couple photos before the bridal party shoot since hair and makeup was running a bit long. For anyone in the future we highly recommend having a second shooter for the fun candid reception photos. We got a sneak peak album within TWO DAYS of the wedding, how fast is that!! Finally, for final photo delivery, we received a digital album of all our photos to download as we wish a few weeks after, which is much faster than I expected. Thank you so much for being a part of our wedding day, Piper :) Anyone getting married in Southwest VA, YOU FOUND YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER LOOK NO FURTHER :D
