Not only that but DJ Bob works really well with you and your fiancé leading up to the wedding. He is easily reachable, personable, and always gives his honest opinion when you’re planning the events of your evening. It is very clear that DJ Bob has TONS of experience and knows all the do’s and don’t’s of DJing to make your night run smooth and perfectly. We had a blast on our wedding night and didn’t want it to end! Needless to say, I would highly recommend DJ Bob to anyone!

ent over name pronunciations, must play songs and songs we did not want played. We felt super confident that everything would be fine considering PGHDJCO is top rated. Right before we were being introduced to the reception, the DJ spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how to pronounce everyone’s names. We already went over this and I watched him write down how to pronounce them. Super frustrating and a waste of time. He then continued to call my maid of honor a matron of honor all night. Our wedding coordinator went over with him the order of events and our father’s had to awkwardly announce what was coming next because everything was out of order and he forgot the blessing before dinner. I still had hope for the music thinking maybe he was just nervous. He approached us right after dinner to ask when we wanted to start family dances and I told him we had to get sunset pics but to start music until we got back (we were only gone 15 minutes). He said that was fine. We come back and the lights are still on and people are leaving. I asked why the music wasn’t playing and he said that’s not how wedding music usually starts. The family dances are usually done first. WHY WOULD HE SAY OK TO ME THEN TELL ME THATS NOT HOW IT GOES?! this is my first and only wedding. He should’ve told me when he asked me how it usually works...I’m not the DJ. Once music got started I was excited to start dancing. Unfortunately, all the music we didn’t want played was being played. I approached him and asked him to play the music we requested. He said ok. The awful basic wedding music we didn’t want continued. My husband approached him and asked him to start playing the music we wanted. He said that he needed to keep it PG. Not sure why, considering the FOUR children that were at my wedding (2 infants and 2 8 yr olds) were either sleeping or outside playing. We were also asking for music that wasn’t explicit and even if it was, there are edited versions. It was OUR wedding and we were asking for things to be played and our requests were being denied time after time. Our wedding coordinator saw that we were extremely frustrated and approached him as well. By 9:30pm he finally started playing songs we requested. Considering there is a portal that asks a ton of questions about what couples want and don’t want I’m not sure why I even spent the time filling it out. He didn’t follow any of it.

as the party was getting started. DJ Shawn went with the flow of the evening and changed it up for us np when we made some last minute changes to the end of the night and our guests said it was one of the best weddings that they had ever been to!

He was super easy to work with - answered all of my last minute questions and eased my concerns. We didn't want anything cheesy/showy from a DJ and he reassured me multiple times that he makes the party for our guests, HE is not the party (perfect!). He was very professional and kept things moving smoothly throughout the reception. He respected our do not play list and his music selection was fabulous- he could really read the crowd and kept the dance floor packed. We got so many compliments on the music! He also did some uplights for our dinner that really complimented the space. All this to say - we loved our experience with DJ Dean! Thank you so much for being a part of our day!

Chris really brought the energy to the party from the minute our bridal party walked out of the limo until the end of the night with the last few people dancing. Many of our guests also enjoyed the music he played during dinner as well. Throughout the night, Chris would check in on us to let us know how we were doing on time and what events were coming up next which was very helpful. Overall, we couldn't recommend DJ Chris and Pittsburgh DJ Company ENOUGH and we are so pleased with their service! :)

ith him and knew right away we were with the right company. Joe will be one of the family and give you what you want, and help you around anything you don't want. It was important to use that NOBODY but our best man and maid of honor made speeches at our wedding and Joe totally had our backs on that. It was great to have all your interests truly at heart. We also had a really funny moment and the end of the night when the wedding was coming to a close and for some reason-the music cut out mid song on the LAST song! It was just one of those freak things, and the whole crowed laughed and turned to Joe and he was like "WELL, thats weird, let have one more for this couple!!" and he stayed past his end time and played a song that is sentimental to me and my father and the WHOLE crowed gave it their all for one last dance. It ended up being one of my favorite moments of the night out of something that was an accident. So again, its nice to have someone who gets you and is there to troubleshoot through anything. I want to also mention how awesome Jasmine was to communicate with for invoicing and questions in general. So responsive and fast with emails and that means so much too! Great company, great creativity, great products: sound system/ lighting, and great outcome.

nestly can say that Dean McAfee, his assistant, and the entire Pittsburgh DJ company made our wedding even more memorable!! I would HIGHLY recommend Dean and his team they were absolutely amazing. 1. Our dance floor was filled the entire night! (The only thing I wish I would have done was stayed longer!) 2. Two months before the big day where we were supposed to get married fell through. We ended up needing a DJ for the ceremony and Dean was able to accommodate the change in plans and provide music for our ceremony. 3. My husband and I wanted our first dance to be fun and memorable. We decided to surprise our guests with an upbeat first dance. Dean was able to put our songs together exactly how we dreamed it would be! 4. Both Dean and his assistant are amazing people they are extremely nice and excited about our big day! 5. I also want to say thank you to his assistant who went above and beyond his job. He also was not just concerned about the music but also my husband and I on our wedding day. It really took me by surprise someone would show so much heart to make sure the bride and groom had everything they wanted on their wedding day. You will NOT go wrong with Pittsburgh DJ Company!
