The engagement shoot had to be rescheduled due to our crazy schedule while we were in the middle of moving into our first house together, but Janet was so flexible and understanding about the situation. Leading up to the wedding day Janet was easy to work with, even helping come up with a backup plan for our first look and group photos in the case of bad weather. Luckily, the forecast changed and we had a beautiful wedding day. Janet was the calm voice we needed throughout a chaotic and hectic day. She wrangled all the family and bridal party with a professional and friendly demeanor. She worked wonderfully with our other vendors to make sure to keep our timeline moving throughout the day. Janet was also extremely prompt and responsive to anything we requested throughout the whole process. She posted a few sneak peek photos from our wedding the very next day and had our full gallery ready in less than 3 weeks. Our photos came out amazing and we will cherish them forever!

was about us. We got to choose when to shoot, where to shoot, and what to shoot. Janet took care of the how. She cultivated a perfect balance between wedding couple and photographer. If we were unsure of something, she took the lead. If we wanted something done a certain way, she was going to do whatever she could to make it happen. There are plenty of great photographers to choose from. Most of them will provide you with beautiful photographs of your wedding, but few of them will offer you the kindness and comfort that we received from Janet. To us, it felt like she was family. We never even felt like we were in front of a camera. Even after our wedding photos were taken, Janet was still working to preserve our special day. Her work didn’t end when our wedding ended. We received a special package after our wedding. Instead of a plain cardboard box, we were provided with a box showcasing one of our most beautiful wedding prints. Inside that box was a unique and personalized wooden USB flash drive that contained all our wedding photos. From start to finish, Janet was amazing. She was our wedding photographer, and she is now our forever photographer.

When we started looking for a photographer I was honestly a little stressed and super anxious as, I thought I’d never be able to find anyone who would surpass my wants and expectations. We began to look and as soon as we met Janet, I should have known, Pixology would be doing our wedding photos. She was without a doubt one of the sweetest vendors and photographers we have met, she had such amazing and personal creative touches and details, and she included everything we wanted in a photographer and more. Our first meeting was brief and she even met my mothere for maybe a total of 4 minutes, yet somehow remembered that she mentioned Canolis (like the Italian my mother is) and upon our scheduled meeting at her studio, had a whole mix of canolis and Italian pastries for my fiancé and I as well as some boxed to take home to my mom! Not only did she remember a whole bunch of details about us and our day, she remembered things like canolis, that I never would’ve thought she’d recall and do something so thoughtful! Janet truly is someone who cares about the people she photographs, this was undeniable and still is today. Every time we meet with her, or even just get mail from her- like after we got the copy of our signed contract- she always adds a special little touch or gift or something to let you know she thought of something special just for you! She is in no way one of those photographers that is just in it to make a quick buck. I cannot express that enough and we truly can’t wait to share our engagement session as well as our wedding day with Pixology. I can’t wait to write another review to express my sincere appreciation and thanks. xo

We just had our engagement shoot with her on Sept 6th and she made us feel so at ease (which was great, since we're both really awkward about taking pictures!). Then she got our photos to us just 4 days later which was unbelievable! Her work is beautiful and romantic. We absolutely cannot wait to see what she does at our wedding next May! She scouted the perfect spots for some specific photos we had requested she take at the wedding (huge group photos), which saved a lot of time on the actual day. Our friends and family had a great time doing the weddinng party photo shoots and she captured amazing moments throughout the ceremony and reception. She is flexible, fast, and super talented with a camera. Can’t recommend her highly enough!
