About this vendor
“The GOAT of bands! ...the band was on fire." PK and the Mighty Seven is an authentic 9-piece powerhouse featuring world-class female and male vocals and a 3-piece horn section. Every horn blast and vocal harmony has been sharpened by a decade of musical chemistry to create a rich, full-bodied sound that elevates your celebration. Supported by a deep-pocket rhythm section, our repertoire spans from vintage soul and Motown to current hits. We don't just play songs; we curate the energy of your wedding from the first note to the final encore.
Why we’re different:
A Real Band, Not an Agency: Unlike large agency-style collectives that "mix and match" rotating rosters of musicians like interchangeable parts, we are a consistent, rehearsed ensemble. Our long-term cohesion ensures an airtight performance from a band that actually knows each other, not a group of strangers reading the charts for the first time at your reception.
The Premium Cocktail Standard: the first post-"I do" drink deserves more than just background music. While most groups provide a soloist or duo doing the same old jazz standards, we provide our full ensemble. Our arrangements are specifically voiced to complement social conversation and create a lush, soulful backdrop that sets a premium tone for the evening.
Seamless Planning: You won't deal with a sales agent or office intermediary. You plan every detail directly with our drummer and booking manager, Matt. When the person who helps map out your vision is the same person anchoring the rhythm section on your wedding night, we never miss a beat. This seamless continuity ensures important planning details aren't lost in translation day of, making us the most reliable vendor on your team. As one client put it: "Working with Matt was the easiest part of our wedding planning."
Comprehensive Services:
Ceremony: Elegant, live music tailored to your vision, including custom song requests and a dedicated sound system. From our client reviews: "The ceremony music was breathtaking."
Cocktail Hour: We offer a signature full-band performance, ensuring the energy never dips between the ceremony and the party.
Reception: A high-energy dance party supported by pro-grade sound, stage lighting, and an audio engineer.
Logistics: Carbon-offset, fully insured, and mobile across New England. We handle the technical details and timeline syncing.

I don’t care what musicians or bands you’ve seen at Fenway or Gillette, PK and the Mighty Seven at your wedding will go down as one of your all-time favorite live performances. I l...
iterally stumbled upon PKM7 at Somerville Porchfest in 2023 while trying to find a different band. The crowd and the energy surrounding the porch where PKM7 were playing were so electric that my friends and I spent the rest of the afternoon dancing in the street with PKM7, completely abandoning our original plans. I wasn’t even engaged at the time, but that same afternoon, I texted my then-girlfriend (now wife) that I had found the band for our wedding. Two years later, I can confidently say that booking PKM7 was probably the second-best wedding decision I made - only behind deciding to propose.
From the start, Matt was incredibly responsive and professional. He never hesitated to hop on a call to answer our questions and coordinated directly with our venue when needed to make sure everything was in place. On one call, he even had us help map out the space on Google Maps so he knew exactly where the band needed to be and when. Through all our back and forth, it was clear that Matt and the band are seasoned pros. He made us feel like our wedding experience was his top priority, and his professionalism put us totally at ease.
As for the music, be prepared for every single guest to come up to you during the reception to rave about the band. During our ceremony, Nate on keyboard and Prophet on vocals had everyone tearing up with beautiful renditions of Isn’t She Lovely, What a Wonderful World, and Brown Eyed Girl. The cocktail hour started the celebration vibes with guests already starting to dance, and the reception was a full-blown, non-stop dance party. We had a smaller reception with only 80 guests and fully believe a DJ or a mediocre band would have never been able to keep the dance floor full the way PKM7 did.
Just to highlight the talent in this band: Sarah sang Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan so well that I now consider Chappell’s version the cover. Prophet was handed the tall order of covering Georgia on My Mind - a song that’s easy to butcher - for my father-daughter dance, and somehow channeled Ray Charles in a way I’ve never heard anyone else do. And as a testament to how contagious the energy was, one of my friends saw her husband dance for the first time ever at our wedding despite over seven years and many weddings together.
We genuinely can’t recommend PK and the Mighty Seven enough and wholeheartedly believe you won’t find a better band for your money. They have that rare trifecta of professionalism, talent, and chemistry that’s nearly impossible to find in a wedding band. Scream-singing Pink Pony Club and Mr. Brightside with my closest friends and family will forever be some of the most fun I’ve ever had. PK and the Mighty Seven are worth every penny and then some!
If you want to get everybody on the dance floor at your reception, you have to hire PK and the Mighty Seven! We had everyone from our grandparents in their 80s to our friends and f...
amily tearing up the dance floor the entire evening. We loved their song selections, mashups, and the energy you can only get from an excellent live band. What set PK apart for us was the fact that they work and rehearse as a cohesive group, which really shines through in their live performance. They fed off the energy of the room and everyone at our wedding came up to us and said we hired the best wedding band they had ever heard! We love you PK!
PKM7 played our wedding reception in June 2022 and it made all of the difference. My husband and I had eloped during the pandemic but wanted to have a proper party to celebrate onc...
e it was possible. We basically just wanted to throw a huge party with good food and good vibes and this band absolutely delivered. All the guests were thrilled to hear live music at a wedding again and while most of our guests were on the younger side they played a range of music from Stevie Wonder to Dua Lipa and everyone was definitely entertained. Matt was incredibly easy to work with and very responsive during the planning process. The band learned several new songs for the occasion including a slowed down version of "We Found Love" for our first dance. The band is relatively affordable in terms of bands as well and they are willing to travel. If you are on the fence about a band, just book PK and the Mighty Seven! You won't regret it!
If you want a band that will keep your dance floor full all night, PK is the way to go! Their set list is perfect for both your grandmother and your 14 year old cousin and everyone...
in between. They were honestly one of the best parts of our wedding. Every member of the band is so fun to work with, and the two lead singers are electric. We also booked them for our ceremony music, and they were really accommodating in learning more acoustic, chill songs that were more fitting for our sentimental ceremony. Seriously 15/10 for PK & the Mighty Seven!
PK and the Mighty Seven made our wedding special, unique and crazy fun from start to finish. Our guests refused to leave the dance floor and our only regret was that we didn't book...
an additional hour to keep the party going more! They played great variations of songs for all ages and even a few special requests we asked them to learn. We repeatedly were told from our guests this was the best band they had heard at a wedding and had so much fun because of the funky music they played. Book them ASAP!!!
