Kristen and PK Events were a DREAM to work with. Kristen made all of our visions and dreams come to life, and she did so with such a calming and helpful energy. Our wedding ran so smoothly, and we were able to truly enjoy our entire engagement instead of stressing out over the wedding planning process. Plus she has amazing vendors who she’s been working with for years and are so talented! I can never thank Kristen and her vendors enough!!! 100% recommend!

As mother of the bride, I would like to express the connection between my daughter (bride to be) and a wonderful coordinator, Kristen. Kristen made sure that all of my daughter needs were met from the beginning of the wedding journey. Per my daughter, Kristen is extremely thorough and always brought positive energy into every conversation she had with my daughter (bride to be). I cannot put in words the amount of gratitude I have for Kristen because without her, I know the wedding would not have been the same, amazing experience it was. The bride and I live out of state and do not know anything about New Orleans. Kristen was great with providing my daughter option's. She did research on the things my daughter ask about and made good suggestions. She searched for the best choices and allowed my daughter to make the decision. Overall, she was efficient, to-the-point, and direct so that there was no confusion. She scheduled appointments to go over the full schedule for the entire day and coordinated with vendors for my daughter so that everyone had a final schedule for the wedding day. Per my daughter, she responded to emails very promptly and was also in communication with her when she needed. On the day-of, she coordinated with the venue and everything was smooth, on-time, and easy for us so that we could enjoy our day. Kristen and her team was awesome. All the guests are talking about how beautiful and coordinated everything was at the wedding and the second line parade. The guest stated that the coordinator did and awesome job. The guest stated that they will always remember this wedding. Congratulations As the mother of the bride, I did not have to complete any task. Kristen made my job easy and relaxing. I am writing this review as the Mother of the Bride. My daughter, the bride located the coordinator for her day. Everything was so beautiful, as the mother of the bride I had to write a review. Kristen and her team were absolutely wonderful! They found a way to incorporate everything I wanted into my special day and gave alternatives/suggestions when asked. Kristen was a joy to work with, and I literally have no complaints. My ceremony was perfect!

Awesome communication and very patient! We were able to book exactly what we needed with her help! She found a photographer and officiant for us. Recommended places for us to get documents handled. If you need help with an elopement or a full wedding she's got the skills.

Kristen is a breath of fresh air. She understands that even small weddings need a little help on the big day. I'm so thankful she was there to coordinate the setup and take care of our VIP (very important pup) ring bearer after the ceremony. There were a few problems that I had no idea about until after the wedding! If you are considering a small wedding in the NOLA area, she is a fantastic planner/coordinator.

I cannot say how grateful I am to have had Kristen in charge of our amazing and beautiful wedding. She was there to put out fires, but more importantly, I never once felt any stress that things wouldn't be done. She kept me on point, nothing was allowed to slide and she was there to take care of reining in costs from vendors to match our budget. I would recommend her over and over and over again.

Patricia was a fantastic asset in planning our wedding. I was sure that I could do everything myself, even though I was planning the event from Chicago, but quickly realized that I was lost. We contacted Patricia and she immediately put me at ease and got our wedding back on track. It turned out to be the perfect day for us!

Kristen goes far above and beyond, exceeding all expectations! She is a an absolute pleasure to work in this great city and will make everything perfect!

PK Events made our dream destination wedding a reality. We had an amazing 3 day Wedding Celebration in New Orleans that our friends and family still talk about, all because of these ladies. They attended to every detail for our Friday evening outdoor ceremony in Jackson Square, the Second Line Parade with Hurricanes in party cups through the French Quarter to the rooftop reception at the Marriott on Canal St. The Marriott Wedding staff worked well with Kristen and Patricia in providing everything we requested (Bagpiper, Custom Beads, Second Line Handkerchiefs) and the DJ and Photographers Kristen recommended were Fantastic! Seeing as how we and most of our 100 guests are not New Orleans locals, Kristen and Patricia helped us keep them entertained on and off Bourbon Street. Saturday Night they arranged a private Masquerade party at B.B. Kings House of Blues and helped us and our guests finding local mask and costume shops. Sunday Morning PK Events arranged for a special group price for our guests for the Jazz Brunch on the Riverboat Natchez. We highly recommend P.K. Events to anyone looking to have a wedding celebration in New Orleans! #MnHenduWed

We chose PK Events to plan our NOLA destination wedding. They helped us plan a wedding that was not just beautiful but also fun and within our budget. They made the planning process so simple by suggesting venues and vendors that fit or vision and budget. There was no stressing since the majority of researching was eliminated for me. All I had to do was talk to the vendors about our vision and visit the locations they narrowed down for us. They respond to messages quickly and answer any questions. My bouquet and hair were gorgeous. The ceremony venue was beautiful and the words of the officiant couldn't have been more perfect to fit us and our relationship. The food/cake were delicious. Our guests had so much fun in the 2nd line parade. What I have seen of our pictures so far have been beautiful and really capture our special day. I can't wait to see the rest! Everything in their control went perfectly.

I used PK Events to plan my daughters wedding. I cannot say enough about these ladies as they made the wedding planning process so easy. They knew the best vendors to meet our needs, vision and budget allowing us to spend where it meant most to us.
