Invitations are hands down the most stressful part of planning a whole wedding. There are way to many choices and every place I went to either showed me cheap flimsy looking invitations or ridiculously expensive ones. While browsing through etsy I came across Place of Events and I was absolutely shocked at how low the prices were for the invitations that were exactly what I wanted with a ribbon and broach. I made an appointment with Maria and together we designed the perfect invitation. I am absolutely obsessed with how gorgeous they were. I would highly highly highly recommend her and I will definitely use her for other aspects of my wedding as well as future parties

I highly recommend visiting Place of Events! Maria created the most beautiful custom save the dates for my upcoming wedding. It has been a few months since my STDs were sent out and I am still receiving so many complements about them. Maria is talented, detail-oriented, professional, and a pleasure to work with. She is also a prompt and efficient communicator. I cannot wait to visit her, again, for wedding invitations!

I came to Place Of Events through a friend of a friend after I was engaged. I told her the kind of feel I was looking for and Maria gave me so many amazing ideas I never would have thought about. She honestly read my mind from Invitations down to the place card holders. I never felt like she pushed me to buy anything I did not need or items that were out of my budget. Everything was amazingly priced so I even felt like I was able to get more than I thought I could since I am on a tight budget. I was kind of happy to find out that she works from home through email because it actually made it a thousand times easier for me since I have the most horrible work hours. She sent me proofs every time we changed something on the Invitations and even mailed me a copy before producing the rest of them. So far I have only received the Invitations but cannot wait to see how everything else will turn out on the day of my party!! Overall, I was very satisfied with the finished product. She was able to work within a relatively short time frame, which was my main requirement. The invitations looked nice and fit with the theme of my wedding. Some of the invitations arrived glued to each other and many had frayed ribbon, though that is something that probably went unnoticed by most of my guests. My only real complaint would be that she needed me to provide a lot of direction for the actual design of the programs. Frankly, when I was in the home stretch of wedding planning, that's the last thing I wanted to worry about. I was hoping that there was a generic template into which she would just be able to insert all of the pertinent information. I ended up dedicating more time than I would've liked into the design, wording, and font formatting, but for the detailed orientated bride, that would be perfect! I would recommend her as a vendor to others for wedding programs as long as you are prepared with exactly what you want for the layout and wording. Also, you may want to allow a little more time for production than I did so that they come sooner than the day before the wedding-- stressful!

Maria was wonderful to work with!! Me and my daughter came across her business through Etsy while looking for Engagement party Invitations. We had contacted several companies since we had needed them in a very short time frame and she was the only one who was able to get what we needed done in time for us! She made the whole process a breeze!

i was so happy to come across this company and see all the beautiful favors they had to offer. i felt like all i was seeing was the same cheap, small, expensive and flimsy favors everywhere. i felt like i got my moneys worth and even had a few people call me the next day to tell me they finally received a favor they will actually use. the wrapping was also beautifully done. i also ended up buying other items such as toasting flutes, ring pillow, cake serving set and a beautiful crystal cake topper. i will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to others!

Maria was wonderful to work with for our wedding favors - very responsive and delivered a wonderful product, not to mention she was very flexible come pick up time... I was planning my wedding from out of town and she was a delight to work with, responsive and provided pictures. Would definetely recommend her for your wedding favor needs, make sure to add the wrapping since it is well worth it! Customized design and beautifully wrapped give that extra touch to your favors... I ordered my "will you be my flower girl and ring bearer" invitations through place of events! They were great with emails and responding! I received my order within a couple days of placing my order. When I received them I did love them! They're great to work with!

I looked and looked all over for the perfect card to ask my young ladies to be in my wedding. They're older than a flower girl but not quite yet a junior bridesmaid. I had looked for a card bearing the "hankie poem" without it being in the hankie itself. I contact Place of Events and got an immediate answer that they were able to use my poem instead of the one shown. No additional charge and the proof was emailed to me later the same day. They then went out 2 days shipping. They are super easy and very pleasurable to work with as well as offering a beautiful quality product. Thank you POE!!

She makes the process easy. She seems to already know exactly what you want and you usually pick the first choice she presents to you. I wish I would have come across this company before my wedding because the items and the quality of the items are amazing. I was lucky enough to purchase items for my sister's bridal shower and her wedding. All the items I purchased were delivered before the delivery date which rarely happens. Everything was perfect and she loved the favors and the gifts that I bought for her and for the bridal party, everything was packaged very well and the items were even better in person. I will definitely be using them for any future bridal showers or weddings I will be in, or gifts I need. Maria was a pleasure to work with, I have dealt with a few different companies and I have to say she was wonderful, most companies make you feel like they only want to make a sale, Maria is actually interested in making sure the items fall within your theme.

Place of Events was absolutely amazing to work with. Maria was wonderful and probably made my favors and that entire process the easiest part of wedding planning for me. I wish I had known about Place of Events earlier because I would have also used them for my invitations. She really worked with me to get the right favors and find exactly what I wanted within my price range.
