While our venue claimed to provide planning services, we quickly learned that they actually didn’t provide any support, let alone support that would bring our vision to life. We had already planned on hiring a Wedding Planner at a later date, as we live in Canada, but we realized very quickly that we needed one ASAP. Within two weeks of contracting our venue and after many unanswered emailed, we contacted Placid Planner and soon everything just fell into place. Its wild how much better a venue will treat a couple when there is a wedding planning handing the communication. Elexis’s local knowledge and experience were a lifesaver. She had an incredible network of vendors we never would have found on our own, and she knew exactly how to navigate our venues disorganization. Where to begin! The TLDR version is that Elexis is hands down the best in the business, her organization & planning skills are unmatched and she ensured that our wedding weekend extravaganza went off without a hitch, or should I say with us getting hitched? Lol For those of you who like to do a bit more in-depth reading… So turns out, planning a wedding these days can be challenging to say the least. To make matters more complicated for us, we aren’t local to the area (multiple states away). Planning a wedding is so much more than just going through a bunch of checklists and wrangling vendors and contracts, I’m fairly confident we would not have been able to pull it off without the amazing services Elexis provided. She coordinated, kept track of vendors, provided recommendations, kept us on schedule, and so much more. We were able to enjoy our wedding weekend without stressing out and with absolutely nothing going wrong. Elexis worked so hard to make it an unforgettable experience. We regrettably didn’t immediately hire a wedding planner for our remote destination wedding in lake placid and we instead relied on our venue coordinator to handle the planning. Not the best decision on our part as they not only provided no planning after we signed the contract, but the position was left empty for a couple months and then we went through 3 points of contact before deciding that we needed major help to pull our wedding together in 4 months. One of our vendors suggested Placid Planner, a local destination wedding planner located right in lake placid. After a few emails and a phone call with Elexis to discuss a plan of attack, so we could stop stressing and a brief session to evaluate our contracted vendors - many needed some level of updating for proper coverage, we knew putting Elexis at the helm of our wedding planning was the only way path forward. Our wedding weekend went perfectly and find myself sitting back wondering what if we didn’t hire a wedding planner during the most crucial and final months.

Placid Planner came highly recommended by a few locals and our venue coordinator before they quit, so when we contacted Elexis and learned her company was available for our wedding weekend we booked her immediately. Hiring Elexis was like hiring a venue coordinator AND wedding planner as the services very much filled the void of our venue not providing us a venue coordinator and that of a traditional destination wedding planner. Elexis knew answers to all necessary venue questions and when she didn't know the answer she was able to either contact someone at the property or go directly to the property to obtain answers - like measurements and more venue images for us. More than once Elexis went to the venue to source answers that our venue didn't respond to us on for months. Venues are VERY hands off in Lake Placid. I can't image how different this experience would have been if we hired an out of town wedding planner. Lake Placid is remote and venue staff there has serious turnover, so I recommend you secure someone local like Placid Planner prior to contracting your venue. Elexis reviews contracts prior to signing to ensure each contact looks accurate and that the client is always taken care. We contracted Full Planning services and paid a predetermined % of our total wedding spend, but Placid Planner also offers Partial Planning services for a flat fee. In addition to full planning services for our entire 4-day wedding weekend, we also had added a content creator, ADK Aquatics watersports sessions (also Elexis & Wes's company) and drone footage. Invest in the best wedding foreman the Adirondacks has to offer and you won't be disappointed.

Elexis was a huge help in the planning and execution of our Lake Placid Loge wedding, which we were planning from different parts of the country. She doesn't take on more weddings than she can handle, so you know you're getting her full attention. She was present at the venue for all of our events, and from the day we arrived until the day after to break down so I never felt like we were on our own. Having her the day of the wedding was crucial, making sure everything went smoothly and on time, and quickly handling any requests we had. Most of the vendors she recommended were great to work with, especially the florist who knocked it out of the park. And when I had issues with the local cake bakers, she didn't pressure me to use them and understood my frustrations, and we figured out a different solution. Planning a wedding in a rural area is a certain kind of challenge and Elexis definitely has the experience and knowledge to make sure it goes smoothly. Her monthly email checklists were a big help in making sure we were always AHEAD of schedule (my preference!) Thank you Elexis!

There are so many things I want to say about Elexis and the Placid Planner team! I can honestly say that my wedding would not have happened if it was not for Elexis! We originally booked Elexis in 2019 when I was worried about planning my wedding while in law school and not having the time for everything. She helped me through all of the initial vendor bookings, schedules, contracts, emails, timelines, EVERYTHING! Then COVID hit and we had to postpone our Sept 2020 wedding to 2021, Elexis helped us contact all vendors and get new contracts and a new date! Fast forward to 2021 when we postponed another year due to international family that were still in lockdown and unable to travel. Again, Elexis helped us find a new date that worked for all vendors and moved contracts and schedules and timelines and on and on! Finally in 2022 the wedding was happening and Elexis 100% made it happen. Even though we were definitely fatigued after so many disappointed postponements, Elexis got us excited and back on track with the planning timelines. She made sure we were always on time with save the dates and invites. There were so many times when I would read an update email from Elexis and reply with "omg thank you for catching that, I didn't realize xyz". If she wasn't on our team helping us throughout the 3+ years, I can absolutely say we would have just canceled due to stress of the postponements. That is just the planning side of things!!! The day of our rehearsal and on our wedding day, Elexis was an absolute ANGEL! She walked us through everything before rehearsal, took all of my inventory like photos and favors, and ran the entire rehearsal which included directing my rowdy family and friends. On the wedding day, I was blissfully calm knowing Elexis was there handling everything! I had a second dress that I forgot to bring to the main venue and it was hanging in the readying suite across the property. Elexis ran and grabbed it right when I needed it, only to run back again because I forgot to ask for my shoes to go with it. The venue was supposed to have a smores station but there was a mix up and they did not provide the marshmallows, graham crackers or anything, just had the fire set up. So Elexis had her team run to Walmart on the day of the wedding to get everything and didn't even bother me with the drama, just let me know when it was done!!! There are so many more examples of how she saved the day and more but all I can say is THANK YOU!!!! If you are on the fence at all about getting a planner, please do and book Elexis! She will give you all the attention you need and make everything perfect! THANK YOU ELEXIS!!!!!!

Elexis was the best investment we made during the full wedding process. When we were considering Lake Placid, my dad found her on Google (with no idea what a planner costs & what it encompasses), but I went for it. Fast forward: there wasn't a single day in the whole process where I felt like I could've done this without Elexis, and my family can say the same. We had a long engagement, so we worked with her for almost two years and she helped with every step. Literally went above and beyond. She was so invested in our day, but she was also invested in making sure it was perfect for me. Words cannot express the quality she brings and she knows just about everything when it comes to the Adirondacks - what works, what doesn't work, details we never would have thought of, and her overall relationship with the folks in the town is such a positive one, that it was reflected in our wedding experience. If you are considering a wedding in the Adirondacks, let hiring Elexis be your first (and best) decision. My husband and I were married at the Lake Placid Lodge and engaging Elexis was one of the first things we did. We have a very hectic personal and professional travel schedule, and live at a great distance from the venue, so we were in need of guidance to help manage a process we knew very little about. Elexis is incredibly organized, introduced us to amazing vendors (check out Black Swan Floral Design!) and helped us produce an event that was elegant, memorable and perfect for our small, but mighty, 50-person crew. And by event, I mean a 4-day weekend that entailed a family dinner, welcome dinner, main event (and after party!) and brunch. Every detail was flawless, including sourcing and managing many items that were rented from other vendors. She knows the venue like the back of her hand and was able to truly maximize the space, allowing us to utilize both indoor and outdoor locations with ease. I may be a little biased, but it was truly the best wedding I have ever attended - and our guests agreed. So much so that they are requesting a reunion event next year. I will miss my daily interactions with Elexis - her calmness, humor, kindness and creativity. But, I am happy to say that I look forward to continuing our friendship long after my husband and I said "I do."

Choosing Elexis of Placid Planner was truly the best decision that we made during our wedding planning. It seems cliché to write that we could not have done it without her, but it is 1000% true! Elexis helped us plan our wedding on an expedited timeline at The Whiteface Lodge. Elexis has an incredible work ethic, she is very responsive, super organized, highly detailed and knows the surrounding Lake Placid area so well that she had the intel to make our wedding day go off without a hitch. During a year of supply chain challenges and a record number of weddings, Elexis always came through with options. From the bride's point of view: I would personally recommend deferring to Elexis' recommendations when it comes to a decision about logistics, timing, coordination, etc. She really did know best at each decision. From the groom's perspective: I was very impressed with her level of detail; Elexis thought of everything that we didn't.

Our destination wedding in Lake Placid would never have been as perfect as it was had we not hired Elexis (placid planner). We are from the west coast and were only able to visit Lake Placid 1x during our 15 months of wedding planning, but that was never an issue because we had our local planner within minutes of our venue to assist in our absence. From very specific venue image requests to actual Facetime videos from our venues and a "menu tasting", having a local dedicated to our wedding was priceless. We didn't know this at the time of booking, but our venue turned out to be pretty hands-off, often times non-existent during planning, slow to respond to emails and the contact changed multiple time. Had we not hired Elexis to handle her role and essentially all of the services we expected our venue to provide, we are certain our wedding day would not have been everything it was. We worked with Elexis and our venue to select a date that worked for all three of us. After this Elexis assisted us with selecting all of our vendors and initial rental items. She also kept us on track with a wedding excel, monthly schedule of items to complete and a very detailed wedding weekend timeline. On the wedding day, Elexis and her partner Wes arrived first and departed well past our own departure. Our wedding day items were returned to us in the manner they were provided, so loading up the cars to leave was much easier. If you are reading this and you are having a destination wedding in Lake Placid, I encourage you to make room in the budget for Placid Planner. It will save you money and so many stresses in the end.

We had the destination wedding of our dreams in Lake Placid this fall and the day went perfectly thanks to Elexis and her extremely detailed planning, for not 1, but 2 years. We were one of her many couples that had to postpone from 2020 to 2021 due to the pandemic, and all we can say is that we couldn't have done it all without Elexis. Our venue completely shut down and let their entire staff go in the spring of 2020, so having Elexis by our side the entire time was absolutely priceless. Her high level of care for our wedding being as perfect as possible and just how we dreamed of was clear from the day we had our first call and that feeling never went away. If anything, it's even stronger now that we can look back on all her dedication and hard work. Sadely, and be wary, but our venue didn't care about us and we were passed from one venue contact to another over an almost 24 month period. Some had zero wedding or event experience at all. We contacted the GM and continually begged for the venue to pay more attention to us, but nothing changed and we relied heavily on Elexis instead. Our venue wedding contact at the time of the wedding did NOT even show up on our wedding day and she didn't inform us of this until 2 days prior. We never met her, just an older man who said he was in charge now. Then we never really saw him again either. Elexis went above and beyond when we arrived and played as much of a venue role as possible without actually serving the food. We did see her clearing and watering our sweetheart table and I am certain she cleared our salad plates as the venue staff were 100% non-existent on the wedding day. Very understaffed with very slow service. She did far more work than we hired her for, but never made us feel like we owed her more. Elexis filled the major void that our venue did not care to fill from the absolute day 1. Not sure how any couple can plan a wedding of any size in Lake Placid without hiring a knowledgeable local planner. The investment in Elexis actually saved us so much stress and money in the end and it made our wedding day and the planning leading up as perfect as possible. Beware of venues that suggest that you do not need a wedding planner. You 100% need someone solely working for you that only has your best interest in mind, if you want to have as stress free of a mountain wedding as possible.

Elexis is wonderful! Despite the unknowable situation of Covid-19, she was there every step of the way to help us through. We would not have been able to have such a gorgeous wedding without her! She stayed in touch pretty much every week for an entire year to make sure we had the best wedding ever. Most importantly though, on the wedding day she was an absolute star. The wedding went off perfectly and in no small thanks to Elexis (and Wes!). The degree to which she manages every small detail is unmatched. Just one anecdote left: moments before we were to walk down the aisle, Elexis noticed the smallest of fingerprint smudges on the glass door behind the alter. She had the music held and sent someone down there to wipe the smudge. When I Say detail oriented I mean it. We loved working with Elexis. We cannot recommend working with her enough. You'd be lucky to get her!

An absolute godsend is the easiest way to describe Elexis. My family and I are beyond grateful for finding her and even more thankful that she was available to work with us. We had struggled with planning a wedding during Covid and actually had to reschedule numerous times. Our heart was set on Lake Placid and Elexis was the perfect person to help us make our dream wedding come true. Her professionalism and ability to guide me during this process was perfection. She helped me to clearly set up the things that needed to be done, and more importantly……she gave me insight to things I had no idea even needed to be done. Elexis connected with all of our vendors and helped me to put everything in place. It took a tremendous weight off of my shoulders. As my dad described her she was the “best quarterback”, she pulled everything together and executed our wedding weekend perfectly. Elexis was so easy to work with, and made this wedding weekend for us even more special than we could have imagined. We don’t even have enough words to describe how she made this all come together for us. We will forever be grateful to Elexis.

The literal collapse of society was not enough to prevent Elexis from making our wedding the best it could be. When COVID hit, Elexis went well above our expectations. She helped us not only reschedule our wedding reception to the following year, but also helped us plan an additional (and safe!) elopement so that we could keep the original date that meant so much to us. All of this done while we live in the west coast! We are excited to be able to continue to work with her as we plan our larger party in 2021! As probably one of the longest clients she’s ever had, we feel that we can say say that we can’t imagine going through this process with anyone else. Elexis is great and a MUST for any wedding in the Lake Placid area. She helped us plan our daughter's wedding and then helped us reschedule twice, due to Covid-19. She was so calm and patient, even when we were not. We ultimately had to cancel and have the wedding at our home, in MA, with three weeks notice. We never could have pulled it all together without her help! Elexis is the BEST!

OH and we had a 30+ person wedding party, and as far as I know, EVERYONE knew where to be, where to stand, when to leave, where to put their flowers, etc. without any reminders from me! Our venue, as we found out, was very difficult to work with remotely. We hired Elexis shortly after selecting our venue and she kept track of all of our deadlines and really proved her worth as the date approached. She communicated with vendors for us and made sure on the day itself, my bride and I did not have to worry about anything other than enjoying the moment. Working with Elexis to plan my daughter’s wedding at Lake Placid Lodge was a dream come true! I do not live in New York, and I was only somewhat familiar with the area; so her knowledge of the vendors and venue was indispensable. Her experience enabled her to offer tips and present ideas that I otherwise would never have thought of, and her quick responses to any questions I had always impressed me. We had the perfect wedding and we couldn’t have done it without Elexis. We live in NYC and booked Lake Placid Lodge, which is about 5-6 hours away, for a four-day wedding celebration. On top of the wedding itself, we had a welcome BBQ, excursions like biking, hiking, and zip lining, and a talent show. Being so far away from the area, we needed someone local and familiar to the area and its vendors. Not only did Elexis help plan and organize all of this, she also suggested the most amazing vendors. She was so on top of it and you could feel how much she cared about us and our wedding. Even when there was a hiccup, Elexis would be right on it and troubleshot the issue immediately. If you are having your wedding in the Lake Placid area, I highly recommend going with Placid Planner. I wouldn’t go with anyone else! Elexis is the best!

OMG do not think twice! Elexis is the best! She made my daughter and her husband’s wedding dreams come true. Elexis turned our remote Adirondack camp into a wedding paradise. Many of the 250 guests were from NYC and they were all stunned at how beautiful and flawless the wedding was. Meanwhile we were all able to relax and enjoy everything. We are ALL still smiling!

If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars I would! Elexis was so wonderful to work with and helped make our dream wedding a reality. From the moment my husband and I hired her, she was extremely professional, diligent, organized, on top of every little thing throughout the whole process which helped alleviate a lot of stress. Hands down, Elexis is the best. Considering we live in Denver, we most certainly could have never planned our wedding without her! We actually met with Elexis before my husband proposed (long story short, I knew it was coming – and it actually happened soon after we met with her). This was July 27, 2016… 26 months almost to the day before we got married. The day we met with Elexis, she showed us a few venues I had always loved – but unfortunately we had way too many guests to fit inside a normal venue… so, outside we went! We also had the difficulty of wanting our ceremony in Malone (roughly an hour away) at a church I grew up in. Elexis was totally understanding and supporting of this. Thanks to Elexis, we had all of the best vendors for the event (especially for our size – 420 were invited, roughly 220 attended). She’s always very timely with responses and great at staying on the vendors who aren’t so timely (their creativity made up for it!). We have to plan our vacations far in advance because of the work we do, so she postponed her normal December vacation to accommodate us visiting to do tastings and site tours. I can’t imagine many other people in this small town (or anywhere, really) doing the same! Bottom line, the entire planning process was so simple and it’s all thanks to Elexis! And then there’s the wedding weekend! From the moment of the rehearsal on Friday afternoon, through the Welcome Party and then the Wedding Day itself… everything went SO well. We couldn’t be happier! Nearly every guest commented on how blown away they were by everything and it’s all thanks to Elexis and her amazing suggestions of vendors!

I could not imagine planning a wedding without the help of Elexis! My new-husband and I both say she was one of the BEST decisions we made throughout the entire planning process – worth every cent! As a local bride, being born and raised in Lake Placid, some of those close to me at first questioned if I needed a planner at all? ....I can 100% confidently say I NEEDED Elexis! She totally understood my vibe, and helped make our special day a carefree celebration :) Elexis is extremely professional and personable, she was easy to approach with any ideas or random questions, and she is also so knowledgable and helpful when providing suggestions/directions. Her communication-style is exactly what bride-to-be's need. She's responsive, realistic, and encouraging throughout all phases of planning. We truly loved working her, you will too.

The first step you should take if you want to have a wedding in Lake Placid is to hire the Placid Planner! I got my ring on July 9th of 2017, emailed Elexis July 10th 2017, and was signing my contract a week later! She was timely in all of her responses, even on weekends she had weddings! Even if it was “I’ll get back to you on this on Monday”. She’s the Wonder Woman of weddings and her wedding game is STRONG! Would I have been able to plan a wedding in 11 months, in a town 3 hours away from home, in a town where I knew nothing about vendors? Absolutely not! This only happened because of Elexis! I seriously cannot say enough good things about her talent(s). I felt like an anomaly throughout my entire wedding planning process as I literally had no stress whatsoever about planning a wedding 3 hours away from home! All those wedding planning horror stories never occurred for me. People were bored with me as I had zero wedding nightmares to share. As the final weeks approached, I was thrilled at how I didn’t have an ounce of stress. I felt like a freak of bridal nature - how can I be a bride weeks before her wedding and be this relaxed?! This was 100% due to having Elexis! I semi-jokingly referred to her as my Monet throughout the wedding planning. One merely needs to look at her Instagram feed and website to see that her weddings are a masterpiece and she’s the brilliant artist. Brides to be...hear me out, erase whatever you saw on pinterest or in a magazine that you thought you HAVE to have and give this artist a blank canvas! I was beyond grateful to have her give insight into what can and can’t work and I’m beyond grateful for her expertise. Oh and I haven’t even mentioned her vendor recommendations! She helped me find vendors, especially ones she thought would mesh with the vibe I wanted for my wedding. She helped steer me outside the box and I’m forever grateful for that! When we arrived to Lake Placid for our wedding she exceeded all expectations and went above and beyond to make sure that literally all we needed to do was just show up and get married. This never would have been a reality for us if we had elected to just use a venue coordinator. Brides, trust me - you need BOTH. Elexis was the pivotal part of executing the ceremony and reception in the planned fashion, all the while ensuring my needs were met. When I say she does it all...she even helped me fix my bustle! If you’re looking to stress less or NOT AT ALL do yourself, your future husband and your entire family and friends a favor, and hire Placid Planner!

We hired Placid Planner 11 months before our wedding. She was our go to person for everything while planning our destination wedding in Lake Placid. Let me tell you, Elexis always goes the extra mile and makes each bride and groom feel like they are her only client. She responds quickly, honestly, and will intervene as soon as there is even the slightest issue with a vendor. She is very organized and will take care of the details you don't want to think about month, week, or day of. Her breadth of knowledge and creativity will make your day perfect. I can't recommend her enough to other couples looking for a planner.

We hired Placid Planner before securing our venue and Elexis was literally the best investment we made the entire planning process. Yes we loved our venue and our photos, flowers, and video are amazing, but we credit this in part to Elexis' vendor recommendations, contract overview and honest feedback. We used her local address for shipping closer to the wedding date and this might sound like a little detail, but its was honestly huge with shipping of last minute items. We loved that she only contracted one wedding per weekend and was present for us from the time we arrived on Friday until we departed on Sunday. I could write a novel, but ill end with do yourself a favor and invest in Placid Planner's services the moment you decide on a Lake Placid Wedding. Elexis was an absolute godsend when it came to our wedding in Lake Placid on 6/16/18. Trying to get everything planned from out of town was such a headache and I know I would have forgotten something if it hadn't been for her. I really wish that I could give Placid Planner more than 5 stars. We found her after experiencing severe communication issues with the venue that we had fallen in love with. Within minutes on the phone with Elexis, I knew that I no longer had any reason to worry. Not only did she work tirelessly to make sure that every detail of our day was perfect; Elexis was also available whenever I needed to ask her a question, look for an opinion; or simply vent about the process. As Lake Placid was a destination wedding for us, the level knowledge that Elexis had about all of the local vendors was amazing!! On our wedding day, she was absolutely everywhere, ensuring that we didn't have to worry about a single thing, and that we could actually enjoy ourselves at our own wedding! Elexis was by far the best decision that we made for our wedding day!!!!

I wish that I could give Elexis more than 5 stars. She's the person you want by your side when you're planning the biggest event of your life. Her responses are immediate, her demeanor is calming, her knowledge of Lake Placid vendors, venues, and local secrets is unmatched and her passion for her work is unparalleled. My ONLY regret in working with her is that I found her a few months into our planning process; i wish we could have started from the beginning with her. I can't begin to describe the number of headaches she saved us from, from vendor contracts, to guest transportation issues, to her amazing timelines. She worked endlessly for us and never left one email (even the ones sent at 2am when I woke up thinking about something) unanswered throughout the entire process. I was beyond happy with her help leading up to the event, but was truly blown away the day of our wedding. She was simply put...our ninja. She was constantly 3 steps ahead of everything we planned that night and I can honestly say that our wedding was the first one we've been to that went perfectly. My maid of honor actually told me the morning of my wedding that something was bound to go wrong that day (as something usually does in every wedding) but not to stress out because we'd look back later on and laugh, but i have to say, my MOH, parents, husband and I still cannot think of one thing that went even slightly off course thanks to Elexis. If you're a bride looking to get married in Lake Placid, call Elexis before you start planning. One last piece of advice - if she's booked on your date, consider changing it. You won't want to do this without her.

I found Placid Planner on Instagram and the rest is history. We worked with Elexis for 15 months via email, phone and skype as we only made one trip to Lake Placid from the west coast from the time we booked our venue until our wedding day. We learned quickly that things in Lake Placid are just slower than one might expect, so having a locally based wedding planner who knew most of the vendors and venues directly really saved us a lot of time (and stress). Her relationship with the Church and Father John is remarkable, so this was another asset that wasn't expected but much appreciated. In addition to securing vendors and implanting the wedding day timeline, we also hired Elexis to be present at our Welcome Party, full Wedding Day with two assistants and our Sunday Brunch service. Elexis was amazing throughout our planning process. I was a hyper organized yet laid back bride and Elexis did a wonderful job of always being on top of emails and responses while still understanding the "more casual" vision that we had for our day. Her recommendations for vendors were always on key for us. Over the course of a year planning with her we could not have been happier but on the day of my wedding I was blown away by Elexis' attention to detail and skill at making our day effortless (for us of course!). I have worked with Placid Planner, Elexis, at many weddings over the past few years in my capacity as a DJ. Prior to the event, she is always easy to communicate with and collaborate; she facilitates communication with the couples and perfectly reflects the couples needs and desires. On the day of the event, she gives 100% to ensure the day goes off seamlessly, often going well beyond the scope of her contract. Elexis is detail oriented and does not overlook the little things. From ceremony through dancing, she can be found checking in with the bridal party, guests, and vendors to ensure their needs are satisfied and literally does not stop working until the very end. She always the first one at an event and always the last to leave. People hire a wedding planner to ease concerns, facilitate communicate, and handle the details and Elexis certainly does all of that and more!

What can I say? Elexis is the best of the best if you're considering a wedding in Lake Placid and you would be crazy not to work with her. From day one, she went above and beyond to make our wedding the most incredible, detailed, and fun day. At the beginning, Elexis ensured we connected with the vendors who made sense for us through her incredible "friendor" relationships she has fostered over many years in the Adirondack region and beyond. Over the course of the past year, she aided with every level of detail you could possibly imagine as we readied for the big day - from lending advice about decor and every other wedding-related question under the sun, to double and triple checking we had everything that we needed to pull off an incredible event. And don't even get me started on the wedding week, during which she and her assistant Christina worked tirelessly - sometimes in literal thunderstorms... yes, seriously! - to execute our wedding vision to a T. I can't say enough about her dedication to her clients and her passion for what she does. Again, you'd be sorely missing out if you chose not to work with the best wedding planner in the Adirondacks. TL;DR? Hire her.

Placid Planner came highly recommended by our venue and we hired Elexis within weeks of securing our wedding date. Her prices were reasonable and she customized her services to fit our needs. We are an out of state couple, so having a wedding planner who was based in Lake Placid seriously made the entire year of planning as stressfree as planning a wedding can be...
