is vendor played in helping bring our wedding day together, and we intentionally waited to share this review because so much heart went into the experience and we wanted to reflect with clarity and fairness. Overall, we would rate our experience a 6.5 out of 10. While there were several positive aspects, we did find ourselves somewhat underwhelmed by the level of service relative to expectations set early on. Our initial interactions were very positive. Planning a destination wedding from several states away came with concerns, but we were reassured and appreciated the payment plan, which made budgeting manageable. Early communication with the lead coordinator for our event was consistent and encouraging. However, as the wedding approached, communication became less consistent. We scheduled monthly planning calls, but several were canceled the day of without alternative times offered. While we understand that schedules can shift, the lack of follow-up created avoidable stress during an important time. In terms of services, this vendor functions more as a coordination service than a full-service wedding planner, and we do not recall it being presented otherwise; the level of support we experienced aligned with month-of or day-of coordination. We visited the site in April after securing permits, and all went smoothly. When we returned in November, we discovered nearby construction that had not been communicated. While it did not impact the ceremony, a proactive update would have been helpful for planning purposes. The week of the wedding presented additional challenges. We had planned for a rehearsal, but were informed it would not be provided due to our guest count—something not previously outlined. Thankfully, we were able to coordinate this ourselves. On the day of the ceremony, things went relatively well overall. We provided clear direction with photos, and those instructions were followed. The team also made helpful adjustments for windy conditions, which we appreciated. One unexpected change was that the specific beach location we had previously agreed upon during our April and November visits was adjusted the day of the ceremony without prior notice. While everything still came together, advance communication around that change would have been appreciated. Photography was delivered quickly (within 48 hours), which was impressive. However, receiving an additional invoice during our honeymoon felt poorly timed. We were also disappointed that some ceremonial items were lost after the event, and responsibility was redirected toward family members who had stepped in to help. Additionally, we were somewhat surprised to later see elements of our wedding concept reflected in the vendor’s design offerings. We understand inspiration can come from past events, and we would have appreciated that connection being acknowledged. In summary, this vendor may be a fit for those seeking a simple, budget-conscious option. We appreciate the efforts made on our wedding day and wish the team continued success as they serve future couples.
