Plan On It Events & Design is a wedding planning company based in Austin, TX. We are a team of experienced and professional planners and coordinators with a passion for organization. We pride ourselves on bringing each of our clients’ dreams to life in a completely stress-free, detail-oriented fashion.
Our favorite celebrations to be a part of are intentional, guest centered, and full weekend wedding experiences. We love working with couples who care deeply about the guests they invite and want a wedding experience that uniquely shows their personality and love story. Our clients value full service vendors and creative design elements meant to delight and surprise their guests on wedding day.
Plan On It Events & Design is rooted in the belief that couples should be able to enjoy their wedding planning process. We use our finely-tuned people skills to customize our services to each couple’s needs. Our process includes learning more about you as a couple, creating a line of open communication with you so we can anticipate your needs, and executing your vision faithfully.
We offer a number of different services, depending on the needs of your big day. With our full service planning package, we will partner with you in the process of creating your big day from start to finish. We will provide you with incredible resources like wedding detail worksheets, a catalog of her preferred vendors, budget templates, planning checklists, and wedding timelines and layouts.
For a lighter level of assistance, see our event management or partial service planning package. A number of a la carte services can also be added to customize your package all depending on what you need. No matter the level of service works best for you, we will strive to make your planning process truly enjoyable and fun!

ackage, which was incredibly thorough and helpful from start to finish. From the very first consultation, Lauren brought clarity, confidence, and calm to the planning process.
She checked in monthly to make sure we were on track, shared incredibly useful planning documents (like vendor checklists and gratuity guides), and offered thoughtful advice every step of the way. The final walkthrough with our venue and vendors was seamless, thanks to her preparation and attention to detail.
Lauren took over all vendor communication leading up to the big day, which was such a relief and allowed us to just enjoy the final weeks. On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant ran the show flawlessly — handling timing, décor setup, bouquets, ceremony logistics, and even our grand exit. It all went so smoothly because of their hard work behind the scenes.

Shelby paired us up with Veronica and I couldn’t be more grateful for the level of support we received for the full 12 months leading up to the wedding. Once we hit the 3 month mark Veronica really stepped in and allowed me to take more of a back seat on the admin side of the house and enjoy the little details of the wedding planning process. Veronica was so organized, proactive, and detail oriented regarding our wedding day schedule - nothing was missed & she made sure everything was ready to go.
During our rehearsal, she wrangled our wedding party (some of whom have very strong personalities lol) and did it with such patience! Making everyone feel very prepared for the big day.
The day of the wedding - Veronica was on it. From the bridal suite I saw her running around and coordinating all of our vendors, wedding party, families, etc. I had zero stress on my big day because of her - everything was seamless. Our guests have even made comments about how seamless the day felt.

ng a wedding that would have a lot of young kids, plus we are a very no-frills, dorky, couple and we wanted our wedding to reflect that. We worked with Amy as our partial planner from Plan On It for our April 2024 wedding at Barr Mansion, who was also completely on board with our priorities and vision. She never made us feel like we were less important or forgotten about, which stood out to us because of some of my friends' negative experiences with their planners. It was also clear how reliable, thoughtful and passionate Amy is about weddings! She gave us great vendor recommendations, helped design our wedding, was super detail-oriented, and made sure we stuck to a timeline. Some of the favorite personal touches of our wedding, like having a kids' game area, our dog on drink stirrers, and having a private last dance were all suggestions from Amy. Leading up to the wedding, there were several vendors that made us VERY stressed out, but because we had Amy as a safety net, we felt reassured. I can't express how important and priceless that was for us at the time! On the day, Amy and her second did a fantastic job at logistics and were great at helping us not feel stressed -- it was stressful enough just having to be the bride, and I was so grateful that I didn't have to worry about any of the details. Our wedding was everything we could have asked for, and we are so, so thankful to Amy for the support and effort she gave us.

On the day of, Veronica and her helper arrived early to prepare and to direct vendors. We did not have to worry about anything happening and could focus on getting ready and being around our friends and family. Even when an issue occurred, they were extremely proactive and helped solve it!
Our wedding turned out beautifully. Everything came together and flowed so nicely. We even had guests comment that we must have had a fantastic planner since they were amazed at how it turned out.

I was having issues figuring out how to pull together the vision I had and handling a lot of the details that needed to be figured out and Amy listened to my ideas and gave me beautiful, actionable options at various price points so I could truly customize our wedding. Once the day came, Amy handled every single thing with grace and determination. I can get stressed out easily and on my wedding day I was already a ball of nerves but Amy made sure everything went perfectly and if it didn't, I still have no idea about it because she covered it all perfectly. Every detail was perfect and Amy helped us stick to our timeline while also capturing a couple of adorable videos of my family dancing that I otherwise wouldn't have. I cannot praise Amy highly enough. She is truly a professional and an expert at her job, as well as a support system and now a friend! At the offset, she took the time to understand exactly what style/vibe/scope that we wanted and crafted a plan specific to us, and did such a great job.
Shelby was extraordinarily organized, knowledgeable, calm under pressure and was able to adapt on the fly when things went wrong (like the box of table numbers disappearing).
As far as communication, Shelby is top notch. We had a regular cadence of calls, and she sent notes after to us. We always knew exactly what to-dos we had and when they needed to be done by, so the "crunch time" at the end was as pain-free as possible.
She also makes sure that the bride and groom are always taken care of and stress free.
She has a TON of experience with other vendors throughout her years of planning weddings, and helped guide us on which ones would be a good fit for us.

The day of our wedding ended up having really bad weather (freezing temps, ice, rain, you name it) and Shelby jumped in to help make last minute changes and coordinate them with all of our vendors. Like moving our outdoor ceremony inside and having to rearrange our cocktail hour space. We also found out the night before the wedding that heaters were not provided by the venue in their outdoor tent, so she immediately started reaching out to rental vendors to try and find something.
