imagine we very quickly were forced to postpone our wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Jessica had been great up to that point with helping us plan a wedding from across the country, but where she truly shined was in helping us navigate the uncertainty of postponing our wedding in an unprecedented time with all of our vendors. We ended up postponing not just once but twice, and Jess was so helpful to my husband and I in keeping our sanity and walking us through the best next steps. No one plans to get married in a pandemic, but with Jessica on your side it will make it 100 times easier! When our big day finally came Jess was such a pro and everything went so smoothly! We were able to fully relax and soak in the day knowing Jess had all of the logistics fully taken care of. Seriously cannot recommend Jessica enough, she is the BEST!

the planning process. We live on the east coast but decided to get married in California, and we without a doubt could not have done it without her. She is incredibly responsive and her attention to detail is super impressive. We explained our vision to her on day one and she hit the ground running making it a reality (and then some)! She works behind the scenes with other vendors so you don't have to, making it so you can focus on the fun part of planning. And she is a design genius. We couldn't believe how amazing the venue looked on the day of our wedding - she thinks of absolutely everything. And on top of it all, she is SO SO much fun to work with. Her positive energy is contagious. By the wedding day, she felt like another friend/wedding guest (a very, very helpful and organized one). Jessica helped us with every facet of our wedding, spending many more hours on the phone with us than she probably ever imagined. When Covid hit and our April 2020 wedding could no longer be, Jessica stood by us and supported us every step of the way, liaising with our venue and vendors through it all. When we decided to forego our larger wedding and elope in 2021, Jessica once again put in so much time and effort to get us married. Every single detail was perfect and the day turned out far better than what we ever could have imagined. Jessica was truly our light through it all and became so close we asked her to officiate our elopement-- and she did so perfectly. We are forever grateful and have a lifelong friend in Jessica. She loves what she does and her goal is to get the job done well and to ensure that the couple's expectations are exceeded. You always had our back when it came to disputes with venders, even though it was very rare given your amazingly kind and friendly personality. I lived in the bay area while planning my wedding in San Diego, and having her as our wedding planner really helped offset a lot of the stress that came with that. We are so thankful for her and the way she helped plan/coordinate day-of! She did amazing taking care of us day-of and even providing things last minute that we had forgotten (such as buying a garter, can't believe I had forgotten that haha). She took on the decorating the morning of at our venue, which is basically a blank canvas. She made sure that my husband and I had a few minutes to ourselves in our venue before guests could enter, which we really appreciated! At the rehearsal, she was organized and really did a great job. There were only a couple of times that I had to ask Jessica about the status of something, otherwise I would absolutely hire Jessica again!

I wanted to work with her immediately! I am a native San Diegan living on the other side of the country, and I can't even begin to explain how crucial Jessica was to my positive wedding planning experience. Not only did she help me by identifying key deadlines, but she did so much behind-the-scenes communication with our other vendors. Besides being amazingly capable, Jessica is just the type of person you want running your special day. We laughed together, shared frustrations, and she just really, truly cared about me and my now-husband. If you need a wedding planner/coordinator, you truly cannot go wrong with Jessica.

I didn’t have to worry about anything on the wedding day, she took care of everything. Throughout the planning process, I maybe had some parent-zilla issues but she wasn’t phased at all. On the day of the wedding, she even took all the stuff I brought for the wedding and put it in her car the night before so I didn’t have to. We’re so grateful we had her as a “partial” planner throughout the process although her work was much more than partial lol. say i did not feel stress at ANY point of my wedding. I had THE BEST day of my life and did not have to worry about the little details. I was able to enjoy and see everything for the first time at the same time as my guests.  Jessica is personable, knowledgeable, and the hardest working wedding planner I have ever met. I was horrible at organizing and made changes til the very end. She was patient, understanding and helped me make decisions when I was wishy washy.  I blindly booked my venue and it really turned out to be a quite a monster as it was completely DIY.  I'm sure it was not what she expected when she signed on, but she had a positive attitude and made miraculous things happen.  Tons of my guests have told me this was one of the best weddings they've been to. I did not have a huge budget, but I think we really did throw an amazing party and I mostly have Jessica to thank for help with styling and budget restraints.  I am FOREVER grateful and if you are looking for a planner...HIRE JESSICA!!

From moving around her schedule to make last minute meetings with our chef and rental company to several trips to LA for venue walkthroughs, she was honestly the best and most important decision I made for my entire wedding. Jess is super organized, relatable and willing to listen to your dreams and offer ways to bring it to life. She was always great about sticking with my budget and not pushing me to extend myself in places I wasn't comfortable. Our wedding was unique in that our venue was an event space with nothing included so we brought in all vendors/items. With a million moving parts and my scattered brain of thoughts and ideas, Jess made sure absolutely nothing slipped through the cracks and made my vision a reality on my wedding day. She kept us on schedule, all my vendors in line and always made sure my husband and I had a drink in our hands and were enjoying ourselves. The actual day of the wedding, I found out the Fire Marshall showed up to do an inspection of all my candles in the space to ensure they were to code..... this could have been an absolute nightmare... THANK GOD for Jess! She handled it flawlessly and meanwhile, I didn't have any clue any of this went down until after he left and we got the stamp of approval for our set up. Immediately following the wedding, the venue required a full load out of every single item we brought in that night - Jess literally handled this with a smile on her face and went above and beyond to make sure my family and I didn't have to worry about a thing. My husband and I were so thankful for Jessica through the entire process and I literally can't say enough about how wonderful she was to both myself and my family. I can't recommend her enough. She will work her ass off to ensure your day is absolutely perfect and she will do it with a smile. I consider Jess a friend, not just my wedding planner, and someone that I am SO proud of to see be successful. I am a huge fan of hers and can't wait to see all the amazing weddings she's able to put together throughout her career.

nd it was definitely one of the best. We were planning a 2-day wedding for 215 people in San Diego within 4 months, while living in Los Angeles, starting a new job and planning a couple of cultural wedding events in LA. Needless to say, we had a lot going on and Jessica really acted like our partner along the journey. In our search for planners, we interviewed over 10 companies and Jessica / Plan Prep Party was the obvious and easy choice. From our first conversation, we hit it off and she really understood the vibe we were aiming for with our wedding weekend. Many of the planners we interviewed wanted to focus on their packages, costs, offerings, etc. But not Jessica. Jessica wanted to know about our vision, our love story, what this wedding meant to us. Shortly after our first phone call (and weeks before hiring her) she started Pinterest boards for our wedding weekend. This really sold me on Jessica – her willingness and desire to bring our wedding to life even before we signed a contract. She was just as enthusiastic and excited about our wedding as we were and really wanted to bring our ideas to life. Jessica was always working behind the scenes without us ever having to ask her. She had meetings scheduled before I could ask about the status. Our venue’s Catering Manager was let go about a month before our wedding and Jessica stepped in like the boss she is and made sure the Catering Director was brought up to speed on all the special requests and nuances of our wedding. She never missed a beat. She was always pleasant and excited during all of our interactions. She heard everything we said and really worked as our ally with our vendors. She also has a great arsenal of vendors that she has great relationships with – we loved and hired her florist (AHR Florals), photography (Jami Laree) and videographer (Shutter & Sound) recommendations. During our actual wedding weekend, we barely saw her because she was busy creating wedding magic – literal magic. Everything was what we had hoped for and more, and everyone thought the entire weekend was intimate, love-filled and fun – the three main adjectives we used to describe our wedding vibe. looking for someone to help bring together the design and details. I knew Jessica was a perfect match for us after one phone call and, as they say, the rest is history! Jessica helped make our wedding everything we ever dreamed of without us even being able to pinpoint what that meant! She worked closely with us to create a cohesive design for our Groundhog's Day wedding that was simple, sweet, and personal (without being kitschy). IT WAS PERFECT. What I appreciate most was Jessica being an absolute SUPERSTAR the week of our wedding, and particularly the day of our wedding. I got a little anxious the week of the wedding because the forecast called for rain, but Jessica eased my worries and created a "Plan B" in case the rain disrupted our plans for an outdoor ceremony and reception. Spoiler alert: there was rain, and lots of it. Before I could even think about how this would affect our wedding, Jessica coordinated with our photographer, trolley, and florist to make sure everything went off without an issue. Jessica even sacrificed herself to the rain to make sure me and the rest of our wedding party made it from the trolley into the venue without getting wet, despite the torrential downpour. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Jessica and her company!! We loved working with her and would recommend her to anyone :)

Throughout the entire process and especially a month before, my friends would say "You're so calm!" and I kept telling them that with Jessica, I could turn my phone off now and show up at my wedding and I know it will be perfect. I introduced her to my friends who are getting married and every person that has talked to her has immediately booked with her and has thanked me over and over again for the recommendation. Even though she was so busy she still made time to speak to me when i was feeling anxious or uncertain about some planning elements. I didn’t understand the hype around getting a planner but WOW did it make every difference!!! I didn’t have to worry about a thing all weekend long and Jess did an incredible job of running the show and dealing with all the vendors. There was a payment mixup with our main vendor and they were chasing me and my mom down, AT THE WELCOME PARTY!?! If they had actually bothered me during the event i would have been furious but Jess stepped in like a boss and handled everything without having to involve me. I didn’t even know about the mishap until after the event which is how it should be! Jess did what she had to do to make sure we enjoyed our evening. I would hire her again in a heartbeat and give her SIX stars if I could!!! Thank you Jess for giving us such magical wedding memories!!

After thinking it through, I took a chance and messaged Jess with a slightly odd request – I asked if I could contract her at an hourly rate to put together vendor lists (primarily focused on women and people of color owned business) that me and my fiancé could use. She was completely understanding of my predicament and happily said yes! We have booked multiple vendors from her lists (and are still going!), and everyone raves about her when we mention who recommended them. Even though I only used limited services of hers she still takes the time to check in with me on how things are progressing, and she can always be counted on for the best hype-woman comments on my wedding related posts. I’m very grateful we found her, and hope other brides and grooms take that same chance that I did, and reach out her. You won’t be disappointed!

nally thought I would just need a day of coordinator. I was totally wrong. The assistance she provided me with handling all the vendors was worth every penny. Not to mention her management onsite was calm, smooth and incredibly comforting for my husband and I. In a matter of 3 months, we planned a 200 person outdoor wedding in a venue that had never done a wedding before and it went off without a hitch. Jessica does a brilliant job with all the tiny details and I would recommend her to anyone.

the right person for the job. She suggested the best donuts for our dessert table that I would've never even found, along with our table lines and chairs that we rented for the reception. She was always so gracious and answered all of my texts, regardless of how silly or ridiculous I may have thought it was. I was planning my wedding from out of state, so having someone actually in San Diego to help me was a lifesaver. And more importantly, she was able to help us deal with a pretty unprofessional catering manager at the resort where our wedding was being held. I've already thanked her a million times, but I truly believe that she is the epitome of a wedding planner/coordinator. If you haven't already, message her IMMEDIATELY and BOOK HER IMMEDIATELY.
