Plan-it Vicki made everything about my daughter’s wedding stress free! The planning was enjoyable and the day of was amazing! I thank Vicki and her crew for taking all of the stress away and guiding us to the best possible wedding day! Having Plan-it Vicky on board was one of my best decisions ever, and it was worth every penny!

Where do I even begin, Vicki and Jeff truly are the dream team that helped bring our wedding to life. As an out-of-state bride, I knew I needed someone I could rely on throughout the wedding planning process to handle things in Connecticut that I wouldn’t be able to do and Vicki and Jeff were there each step of the way. Vicki and Jeff took the time to really understand and imagine my vision taking into account both the aesthetics and the energy I wanted to be carried through the night. I can honestly say our wedding day was the better than I could have imagined and if anything went wrong behind the scenes I had no clue! I could not have asked for better wedding planners and would hire them again in a heart beat!

Vicki and her team were amazing from start to finish. Vicki has great taste, incredible organizational skills and she is funny and incredibly caring. She treated us as family and had wonderful suggestions and connections. We were thrilled! I would recommend her wholeheartedly!

I cannot describe enough how impressed we are by the plan it team. Everything was so incredibly organized and my wedding day went by so easily. Vicki helped me plan my wedding in 8 months. She checked in with me multiple times and we had very frequent meetings. Vicki made it obvious that her number one goal was to make me (the bride) happy.

We hired Vicki Ross of plan-it-Vicki in 2020 to help plan a small covid wedding followed by a much larger event the following year. The smaller wedding went off without a hitch and on to the next event. Well, the best laid plans as they say, our daughter in law gave birth to our first grandchild that next year, the same month as the big wedding. We pushed the wedding to May of 2023. Vicki and her husband Jeff (who was also our videographer) meticulously planned out every single detail. Who was coming when, who was arriving where, a timeline to follow to the minute for everything from when the tent is being set up and when we were getting hair and makeup, envelopes for tipping and paying vendors, contact with every vendor from the tent people to the DJ to the babysitter for the grandson. Our once a month meetings became weekly get-togethers the closer it got to the wedding. Honestly, because the wedding was being held at our home on our little farm I expected a cheesy little home wedding on my cheesy little farm with a cheesy little tent and a cheesy little food truck. What I got instead was an amazingly elegant and flawless wedding that I never saw coming. Everything down to the smallest detail was perfect. And the reason it was elegant and flawless and perfect has everything to do with Vicki and Jeff Ross and events@plan-it-Vicki. They have been in the business for a long time and know exactly how things need to be run down to the smallest detail, for things I would never think of like gift bags for out of town people staying in hotels. Vicki helped plan our mini Covid wedding in 2021 and our big wedding in 2023. She made our dreams come true and made the perfect days even more perfect. During the planning process, she asked questions that I never would have even thought about that were definitely important. She was the brains of the operation, I was just there to answer questions…it made planning a breeze! She was always very punctual, worked with our schedules, was funny, super friendly, and knew what she was doing. We consider her a part of the family now! Vicki and Jeff were simply outstanding!! They were totally capable to plan our Sutton, ON country styled wedding from Connecticut. The precision and attention to detail to fulfil our vision was immaculate! After becoming engaged and meeting with several wedding planners/coordinators we knew immediately that Vicki Wayne-Ross of Plan-it-Vicki was the perfect choice for us. If you're reading this, you're probably like me: a neurotic Type A personality who doesn't need a wedding planner because you're going to do everything yourself. Perhaps doubts have started to creep in, and now you're considering a day-of-coordinator because you want to ensure you enjoy your wedding. But every planner's/coordinator's website looks like a Pinterest board; you want someone you can trust with things you can't Instagram. I reached out to Vicki in January 2021 for our October 2022 wedding. She already had a mitzvah for our date; she said she'd be available for planning, and her husband and business partner (Jeff) would be available for day-of-coordination. The price between planning and coordination was more than generous, so my husband encouraged me to book Vicki "just in case" I needed some "extra help." Planning a wedding is an incredibly humbling experience. When we hired Vicki and Jeff, we weren't hiring a wedding planner but temporarily adopting parents to coddle us when things were tough and give us tough love when we were being ridiculous. Like, I was really snippy on one of our Zoom meetings and cried, and Vicki texted me the next day to see how I was. Our wedding day was perfect–or maybe it wasn't and I have no idea what went on behind the scenes. I had a great time and just had to look pretty while Jeff handled everything. Planning a wedding is a lot of work. Vicki and Jeff will get you through it.

We ended up having to switch wedding planners halfway through our wedding planning. We had interviewed several other planners in the Connecticut area for our at-home wedding, and then we met Vicki and her husband Jeff. They understood our vision and the special issues that a wedding at a private home presents. At every turn, Vicki and Jeff were thoughtful and well organized. They are so easy to work and truly deliver. Although Vicki had to work another wedding on the day of our wedding, she made sure that Jeff and his wonderful assistant had everything they needed. She even came to visit our home the week of the wedding to check on everything! Jeff was amazing day of - any little issue that we faced in the days leading up to the wedding and on the day of the wedding were handled swiftly and correctly. I cannot speak highly enough about Vicki and Jeff. Just hire them and you’ll have nothing to worry about!

Vicki, Jeff and their assistant Lily were all absolutely amazing! Vicki was always available for advice or questions at all times. She definitely knew what she was doing and has so much event planning knowledge that it was an amazing help during the entire planning process. Leading up to the event we had some wedding party issues and she helped me through the entire thing and even made sure I was ok on a personal level. By the time our wedding day came Vicki and Jeff felt like family. Throughout the event her and Lily made sure we always had anything we needed and that everything ran smoothly. It was a bride's dream! I will definitely be recommending Plan-it Vicki to everyone I know who needs help planning an event!

Working with Vicki and her husband Jeff was the best decision we made in planning my daughter's wedding. They are both experienced, knowledgeable and professional. My daughter, her fiancée and I all “clicked” with them right away. The wedding was in Connecticut but the bride and groom live in Chicago and Vicki and Jeff met with us numerous times keeping all of our planning on track and guiding us through the process. They helped us book vendors and became the point person for the vendors we booked on our own. They were always available to answer any questions or be a sounding board for various ideas. Vicki and Jeff are both very good with people and when occasionally the bride and groom would disagree with each other or with me on various details - they were very deft at listening and problem solving and keeping everyone on the same page. They truly made the experience of planning a wedding what it should be: fun. I always felt confident that we would have a beautiful wedding throughout the process because I knew we were in capable hands. In terms of the wedding day itself- again I cannot say enough. Vicki and Jeff took us through the rehearsal - and then on the day of the wedding they just made everything happen like magic! I entertain a lot and am used to taking care of everything, however, I literally did nothing but enjoy this beautiful event and socialize with the guests. I trusted them to take care of everything - and they did exactly that. Vicki and her husband Jeff were one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They asked great questions, helped us compile a master timeline, various floor plans and made the process nearly seamless! We would have been lost without all of their guidance. During the day of the wedding, they executed everything as discussed and handled any issues that came up so we could enjoy our day. On top of all that, they have a great sense of humor and are a blast to hang out with. They have various other reasonably priced decor rentals they can bring, which makes things so easy. If you are considering them, DO IT!

Vicki kept everything on track throughout the planning process. She had fantastic recommendations for vendors and had a keen eye for decor. She helped us to develop our vision and keep from going overboard with every idea I found on pinterest! She helped us manage the hiccups along the way like postponing due to COVID-19. She organized our rehearsal and managed set-up and timeline day of. When vendors had questions she had answers and I had absolutely no stress and was able to be fully present with my love and loved ones on the wedding day. Everyone has commented how smooth and beautiful the day was. Vicki will be my go-to event planner for special occasions in the future and the first recommendation I give to anyone just starting their planning journey.

I can't say enough good things about Vicki!! She is AMAZING! She helped me not only plan our wedding for August of 2021, but also executed everything that day flawlessly! She helped with the vendor planning, did site visits, helped design our decor, set up all our tables and centerpieces and decor throughout, and coordinated the entire day of, starting hours before we even got there, and stayed after the event ended to clean up and organize. She had access to beautiful rental decor for our wedding as well. Whenever she saw something that she thought was fitting for our event, she would text me immediately, and would respond to me within minutes of whenever I asked her something, big or small. Below is a note I sent to Vicki Wayne-Ross and her husband Jeff, the angels hired by our son and daughter-in-law to help plan their wedding in our back yard. The note says it all! Vicki and Jeff did ALL the heavy-lifting throughout the entire planning process. Vicki kept us all on track, providing direction and wonderful suggestions from start to finish! The end result was a gorgeous affair enjoyed by family and friends of the bride and groom and ZERO stress. Vicki and Jeff – Thank you SO much for helping to make Colin and Daniella’s wedding THE perfect day! Everyone said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to and Brian and I would have to agree! Absolutely everything went off so smoothly! The entire weekend was just fabulous! I don’t think I ever once gave a thought to any of the logistics of the day from the moment we lined up at the top of the stairs ‘til we finally went to bed that night. Vicki is the absolute best, I can not express how grateful my husband and I were to have her plan our big day. We live in Nashville and we’re planning a wedding in CT but that didn’t phase her. She was hands on from day one, made sure to keep us updated on everything, and was always checking on me to make sure I was okay and my stress levels were low. I don’t have words to express how amazing Vicki was through this entire process. She made our day absolutely perfect and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

Who said you need a year to plan a wedding? We contacted Vicki 5 weeks before my Daughter’s original wedding date not knowing if it would be possible to pull it all together. Vicki was an absolute blast to work with. She is extremely organized and showed up to each meeting with notes to go over for both my mom and I. Also, her husband dealt with my, now husband, about certain aspects of the wedding my husband was paying for. Vicki responds immediately...and if not immediate you better bet she’ll answer within the next 30 minutes. She had so many helpful ideas and tips that I had not even thought about. Not only did she meet with us whenever we were available and wherever she supplied everything we needed for that meeting and her attitude was fun, spunky, positive, and high energy. She made and placed each label on our wedding favors, handled all signage and it all came out beautifully. I could go on and on about how amazing Vicki was. The best thing was on the day of our wedding I didn’t have to stress or worry about any setup because I knew her and her husband were all over it and setting things up beautifully. It was a huge relief, giving me all the time to actually enjoy every second of my wedding day!!! Once again, I cannot recommend Vicki enough. She’s an amazing planner and gets your vision/style/theme your going for as soon as you sit down with her for your first meeting. She also will come to any meeting along with you or got here for you if you cannot make it. For example, florist meetings, photography, venue, etc... She’s an amazing wedding planner and more than a pleasure to work with. When I was feeling stressed or unsure of things she reassured me that that was her job to worry and get things done, not mine. 10/5 stars for Plan-it Vicki!!!
