My name is Serena Jane, and I am the owner and coordinator of Planned by Jane. I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona and I want to help couples have a stress-free, magical day. I served in the US Army for 7.5 years and I bring all the skills I learned in the service with me to execute your perfect day, whatever that may look like. My time in the military gave me the tools to plan and bring together an event and the romantic in me loves to see couples celebrate. I love LOVE and all the beautiful celebrations, big or small, that come with it.

ttend all of our in-person meetings with our venue, including our final venue walk-through and ceremony rehearsal, and having her with us to discuss details and share our vision was incredibly helpful.
The day of our wedding she CRUSHED IT. Our event kicked off at 9 am, so she was on-site setting up by 6:30 that morning! I had sent her some inspiration pics from Pinterest as well as my own at-home mock-up pictures and she was able to take all of that info (which any bride can tell you ends up getting so jumbled just before the wedding lol) and synthesize it so beautifully. I thought I knew how I wanted the tables to look, but she took my ideas and improved them tenfold! I was in tears during the few moments we got to sneak out and see the setup before our guests arrived. Everything looked so magical.
Serena also handled all the vendor coordination for us in the week leading up and the morning of- honestly I was completely hands-off with our vendors that day and that's *exactly* what I wanted lol! I know she did a wonderful job because I never once had to tap in and handle something.
Our day went so smoothly and looked so amazing and that is entirely because of Serena's hard work. She kept us on track with our timeline (absolutely necessary since we were in a bit of a daze lol) and would occasionally appear at my side with a mimosa for me! She was an absolute rockstar from the moment setup began to the moment she handed off the last of our things to my parents-in-law after the reception. My husband and I can't recommend her highly enough and she is worth WAY more than she charges for her services. If your goal is to be present and actually enjoy yourself on your wedding day you absolutely have to hire Serena.

king. Her planning skills are next level and the binder/timeline document she creates is amazing. In our meeting before the event, she helped me think through details I hadn’t thought of yet, and provided guidance as I made those decisions. I didn’t have to worry about anything on my wedding day because Serena had everything under control—even our reception playlist. She helped organize our guests, which involved getting a wheelchair for my grandfather, making announcements and keeping everyone on track/moving them where they needed to be. She set up, she cleaned up, and just knew exactly what needed to happen at every moment. I can’t thank Serena enough for making our special day feel absolutely seamless. Thank you!!

ccable, no stone was left unturned, and the timeline she made got compliments from our other vendors for how thorough it was.
I personally didn't have a lot of hard opinions when it came to the wedding, and Serena helped walk me through the different options and really helped pull all the small details together that I hadn't even thought about.
She even saved the day when I had forgotten my bouquet at our Airbnb 30 minutes before I was supposed to walk down the aisle, somehow making it through all the traffic.
Overall, she was so helpful and allowed for everything to go smoothly- we definitely asked a lot of her and she exceeded any of our expectations.

From floral and table placements to hanging fairy lights to ensuring benches were dry after a day full of rain for the ceremony, wrangling my absolute chaotic family, and the wedding party for the procession and grand entrance, she managed all that and more.
