Angela took great care in setting up our vendor meetings and attending them with us (which is super important since we had no idea what we were doing!). Angela also walked us through what things meant and what our options were. She also set us up with vendors at a high, medium, and less expensive price point (and with vendors who matched our personalities) so that we could pick who we felt was a true match. On wedding day, Angela and her staff took great care to make sure the event was set up to perfection! Her assistant Joyce was amazing as well. The entire day ran smoothly and nothing went wrong. r connections to most of our other vendors, whom we loved. The planning process leading up to that day was rough. On multiple occasions it took weeks (or months!) to get quotes or information that I had requested from her, even after multiple emails, texts, and voicemails. Angela had great design ideas, but they were often out of my price range. I was constantly reminding her of my budget and feeling like I had to make sacrifices rather than starting with ideas in the budget. The lack of communication and budget management caused lots of unnecessary stress along the way, but the final event was beautiful.

ell I was wrong!! I'm so happy we decided to go with Angela at Planned to Perfection Events!! Angela was very experienced and knew exactly what she was talking about. She had several great suggestions and provided insight to things I would have completely forgotten otherwise. She and her team were fully dedicated to making my wedding the wedding of my dreams. The days leading up to my wedding Angela was working sun up to sun down, contacting me with anything she needed decisions on and making sure everything was being executed as planned. It was SO WORTH it not to have to stress about a thing. When I walked into my venue for the first time to take a "sneak peek" I was brought to tears!!! usually knows what she wants. My mom won the argument and we met with several planners. Angela and I hit it off immediately and we booked her at that meeting. I made it clear that I wanted to be in charge and make sure my desires were met, she assured me that this was my wedding and not hers and they would be. And she was right. I had the wedding of my dreams and I attribute it to her amazing design, ability to put up with my crazy whims and desires and her overall ability to calm me when my type A went into overdrive. She answered my phone calls at midnight, texted me back in the middle of the night when I freaked out about something ridiculous and managed my entire wedding. I did not have to deal with any of the vendors other than meeting with them and discussing my desires. She emailed me to see how my shower went, engagement pictures and remembered a special date in our family. I honestly felt like she was a girlfriend I could complain to about bridesmaid issues, mother issues, mother in law issues and so on. She had a solution to everything and it made me at ease.
Our time line was different than most weddings and she was more than willing to change things around to make our choices fit into the scheme of things. What can I say, I wanted to be different!
The wedding itself was the ultimate "wow" factor! I walked into the room for our reveal and it was out of this world! Your eyes did not know which detail to look at first, everywhere was beautiful. The flowers were stunning, the tables perfect, the layout was breathtaking.
My advice is to listen to my mom....book Planned to Perfection Events. I feel like I have had a dream wedding and they were every part of that.

let me down, I could afford a better planner. Angela was late to our very first meeting (should have taken this as an omen) and two other appointments that she set up herself. She would often say 'let me see what I can do' and you would never hear about whatever that was again. She told me so many things that were just not true and even contradicted herself a few times. She dodged my attempts to get in touch with her and I felt very vulnerable and unhappy just weeks before the big day. I asked for guidance about going to the courthouse (our officiant couldn't legally marry us in the state of nc) and she totally let me down while my out of state Photographer helped me research how that process worked. The kicker was that just four days before my wedding, she told me that she would not be at my wedding, but her lead planner (whom I met right then at a venue walk through) would be running my wedding day. Lei did a really good job after only having four days to come up to speed, but it still fell short of my expectations. The whole wedding planning process was extremely stressful and Angela almost added to that instead of taking it away. Perfect is the furthest stretch from what they do. Hire someone else, trust me!

I live in Pittsburgh and my daughter and her groom live in Charlotte. They wanted to have their wedding in Charlotte so all their friends would not have to travel. My first thought...
was I'm really not familiar at all with the city venues, vendors, bakers, ect. And the bride had only been to a couple of weddings in Charlotte and did not know much more than I did. We decided to hire a wedding planner to make the job easier. We interviewed several over the phone and then met with Angela from Planned Perfection. We were very comfortable with her and decided to put the wedding in her hands. Hiring Planned Perfection was by far the best money I spent on the wedding! She was able to arrange meetings with vendors around the times I was able to get to Charlotte and my daughter's work schedule. She made appointments with five venues in one day to suit my schedule. I know there is no way I would be able to do that. She went to every meeting and at no time did I feel she pushed us to any one venue. Also, she did not say this vendor is the "best" use them. She gave my daughter vendors websites to look at; suggested she pick three and then Angela set up the appointments with, photographers, florists, Dj's, & bakers and let the bride and groom decide which vendors they were most comfortable using. We were thrilled with every vendor we chose. She also arranged the hotel accommodations and transportation for our out of town guests. I started to refer to Angela as "The Fairy Godmother" when the bride had an issue with her bridal gown. After it was altered, she did not like how it looked in the back. It was the only time I saw her upset through the whole wedding planning process. We called Angela and she suggested we bring the dress to the the final florist consult the next day. There we were in the florist's back room trying on her dress. Angela agreed it was not an issue of size or alterations, but the design of the dress in the back. She offered a suggestion on how to redesign the back and then even accompanied my daughter to the next fitting to explain to the seamstress what she wanted. It turned out beautifully! Two days before the wedding, the linen vendor called to say they could not supply the chair cushions we wanted and had ordered six months previously. No problem, Angela made a call and the cushions we wanted were there the next day from another vendor. We wanted to use some personal decorations at the wedding, Angela came the day before, picked everything up and had the venue beautifully decorated. I did not have to lift a finger the day of the wedding. After the wedding she loaded it all up and took it with her to be delivered back to the bride the next week. The wedding day was beautiful and stress free thanks to Angela. I cannot even begin to say how many hours Angela saved both myself and my daughter in planning the wedding. I never really thought a "Wedding Planner was necessary, until I had one. I would use Angela and Planned Perfection again, for sure.

d after meeting Angela of Planned Perfection I knew we would work well together. Angela went to so many vendor meetings with me, I like to know all of my options so we met with a lot! Angela was also able to help us find vendors we would have never found on our own including the amazing calligrapher we used. The real value for us came on the day of the wedding, everything was coordinated and timed perfectly. Angela even provided a day of timeline to our bridal party and all of our vendors. Angela came over to my home a few days before the wedding and we went through everything that I had collected (decor, guest book, etc) and discussed where they would go and how they would be displayed and on the day everything was just as we discussed. It was a lot of stuff and everything was returned to us in perfect condition! I recommend Planned Perfection if you want your day to go off without a hitch!

nd got me into gear. I knew that I wanted a classic elegance theme but had no idea (besides pintrest) how to accomplish it. She knew what to do and how to get the look and which vendors would be the best fit with us. She nailed it! As the wedding drew closer I found myself calling her often and I could tell that she was treating me like a member of the family and not a client. She NEVER rushed me off of the phone or brushed me off, instead she listened to all of my concerns, bridesmaids issues and family drama and talked me through it.
When wedding day finally arrived it was magical! Everything was arranged, managed and seamless. The club looked exactly like I had envisioned and it was as if Angela and her team were in my head. It was Perfect! Every detail was thought through and every element was stunning. I highly recommend Planned Perfection....so much so that they are now planning my baby shower!

ne after doing a few research online, thinking she was awesome b/c of all the great reviews, we went ahead and hired her. Little did we know that all the great reviews on all different websites were for Shannon, not Angela.
Well, since we already paid the deposit (which is half) we stuck with her until one day she decided to be non-responsive. It was very frustrating to call day after day & we also tried texting her & we did not hear back from her for weeks at a time for which she always had some excuse. in our dealings with Angela, we felt that she favored her preferred vendors to the point of not being flexible when we inquired about other vendors. She also spoke negatively about certain vendors by stating that they were unreliable & how we shouldn't use them & then we later found out that she had never even worked with them before.
We also felt that she was not professional in her dealings with us at times. She kept repeating how we couldn't "afford" anything.
Overall, we really wish we had never had to meet her in our life. We ended up taking her to court b/c we could not get in touch with her. We ended up not being able to get our deposit back because it was stated "non-refundable" on her contract .
We would hate to see other couples have to go through what we went through so please feel free to contact me and I will show you proof of all communications between Angela and us. ( We saved all emails etc. ) We have a lot more we can tell you.

Their services included very accurate estimates for many of the key components for the wedding, as well as reviews of contracts to ensure everything was covered. Their attention to detail was fantastic. Obscure (but important!) details like asking us about the bathroom capacity at our home when discussing numbers of guests, and were able to help us with "portable toilets" to meet capacity at the reception. They recommended a variety of vendors and either provided us with a list of questions or were able to join us when interviewing them.
PP was most helpful in keeping us on track. Polite but persistent reminders to each of us via our preferred method of communication. The wedding is over and I really miss the 7:00am emails and the phone consults while driving to work.

weetest and most energetic and creative person I have ever met, and Michael is her true counterpart with his computer science-y laid back style. Being so energetic and creative, one would expect Shannon to follow the artistic stereotype and be scattered... She is exactly the opposite. Shannon is as organized and together as anyone could possibly be. As an engineer, I absolutely loved this about her. I got lists, timelines, goals, reminders, and help with anything I needed help on. She was almost always available by phone or e-mail, and, if not, she immediately responded to let me know when she would have time to look at whatever I had sent. She really catered to my type-A personality, and helped me to remain calm. I'm used to being the one that has to help and worry and fix things, but Shannon was so together that I had no worries and nothing to fix. It was amazing. My friends were all shocked when they would ask about the wedding, and I could calmly, and honestly, shrug my shoulders and say "It's all running perfectly, I'm so excited!". She had great suggestions for vendors and helped us to prioritize our budget allocations towards different things. The weeks before the wedding, I never worried about the vendors. Everyone seemed to like and respect her, and I knew that she had everyone well organized and well informed. The day of the wedding... I was in total bliss. I never worried about a single thing. When I sat down, Shannon was there to make sure my dress didn't get wrinkled. She kept track of my flip flops and was on the floor helping me change shoes once I finally admitted to hurt feet in my heels. She was there with water before I even knew I was thirsty. She and Michael were in control of every aspect of the wedding, while being 100% professional and without being overbearing. She was behind me during entrances and exits giving simple reminders or instructions on where to go, and then slipping out of the way in a ninja-like fashion. :) I still joke that it was nice having my dress's train be so intelligent and well informed! All in all, I just danced and talked the night away knowing that she and Michael had everything running perfectly.

Our wedding was held in Charlotte but I live in Florida. Even with the distance I thought I would be able to manage the planning and execution of the wedding with a little help from friends. After the planning got underway and the church and reception venue had been selected and we began planning the details of the weekend I realized that I needed help and Planned Perfection came to my rescue.
We were so comfortable working with them and they put our concerns to rest as we worked through the planning process. Whenever I had a question or concern through the planning process they were always easy to reach and if they were going to be busy with another event or meeting they always let their clients know how to reach them or to expect delays in their responses during that time frame.
Shannon is such a detail person and put together a timeline coordinating all of our vendors as well as for all the little details for the wedding. She thought of things that I definitely would have overlooked. With our timeline that they provided us there was never a question of when or where something was to happen. All the bridal party and parents received this information. As a result things went very smoothly.
On the day of the wedding we even got text and facebook messages wishing us a happy wedding day. After we arrived at the church I became a guest at my only daughter's wedding not having to worry about a thing. I was not able to see the reception venue set since it was a public site and closed to the public 30 minutes before our wedding service began. Shannon's team pulled together all of the vendors and elements planned for us. When I arrived everything was perfect and beautiful just as we had planned. They had some great ideas that we used and everything came together beautifully.
The Planned Perfection team was by our side throughout the evening to keep the plans moving smoothly and to make sure that we were having fun. We recently received our photos from the wedding and the smiles captured told the story of the fun and happy time we all had.
If I could share one thing I learned from this past year of wedding preparation it would be to hire a wedding planner first thing and have them guide you to vendors they have worked with successfully. I regret not having Shannon and Michael from Day 1. They are so knowledgeable, reassuring

onths before the wedding. We had our big vendors, but NONE of the smaller details were in place. Shannon was so wonderful and understanding in working with us. My mom is a perfectionist, and I had a hard time meeting due to my job at the time. Shannon worked with us every step of the way! When it came to wedding day, everything was flawless! ichael planned for my friend of 20 years, Erin Boyle. Erin told me all through the planning process how amazing shannon was and how on top of every detail she was which was a huge relief since Erin was more concerned with everyone having fun than she was the small details. Well Shannon hit every small detail and beyond! the personal touches that she managed to fit into every aspect of the day made this the most fun I have ever had at a wedding! not only were shannon, michael and their team here for erin and george on their day, but they took the time to help the entire wedding party get prepared! I knew there was something special about this team when my mom grabbed me half way through the reception and said, "get that wedding planner's number! we are going to use her in the future!" The team of vendors that they put together for the weekend were absolutely amazing.
You cant say enough about how helpful, creative, detailed, and fun this couple is! I asked shannon at the end of the night if I could put in an application to be her best friend. I look forward to my acceptance letter any day!

Michael and Shannon work together as a team and really make things happen. They have great visions and are extremely organized. Shannon is a lot like myself and that is why I felt comfortable giving her the lead on many things. Michael at a bridal expo and LOVED them and immediately went home to discuss it with the groom. He was skeptical at first with another payment for the wedding but agreed because he didn't want her to be overwhelmed. When all 3 of us met with Planned Perfection we immediately knew there were a lot more things we needed to plan than we thought and they helped so much with making sure it was not overwhelming in the least bit. They also knew when was a good time to ask the bride what she thought about something if it didn't fit correctly in decorating or if their was a concern with something else they would go to me first so she wouldn't freak her out on her wedding day. They were great the whole time and the wedding was gorgeous. I loved that I was included so I could make sure the bride was getting everything done and not putting it off or not telling me it needed to be done. The only concern I had was that most of the decorations, food and gifts were put in the bride and grooms car instead of mine so they had to stop home before their hotel room and unload everything.

und out it was the best money we every spent. We had limited family help in planning our wedding and I felt a lot of stress to try and pull everything together. From the moment we hired Planned Perfection the weight was lifted off. I could call, text, or email any question and it was answered quickly and effectively. They helped me negotiate vendor contracts, do décor, answer etiquette questions and much more. On the actual wedding day, they ran the show seamlessly. Everything went perfectly! As with all weddings several “issues” arose but my groom and I never knew. We found out weeks later and laughed.
