ecommend going to Sarah for weddings, big events, or low key birthday. I am so grateful for her! We got one sweetheart cake and multiple flavors of cupcakes for our guests.

te-tested! We ended up ordering a small tiered cake, which Sarah designed beautifully per our instructions, and many filled mini-cupcakes, all of which were excellent. We got 12 gluten-free almond wedding cake mini cupcakes, which worked especially well. We are very grateful that Sarah helped us meet our guests dietary needs so deliciously! Pricing was also extremely reasonable for the DC metro area.

r fairytale theme vision. We got so many compliments from plant based and non- plant based guests and couldn’t even save a layer for our anniversary because we couldn’t resist eating it all!!! We have already decided we will just have to order another in a year. The entire process was easy and Sarah was helpful and responsive. Sarah delivered the cake exactly on time to ensure that it was in perfect condition for cutting even at our outdoor summer wedding. When I asked my husband if he had anything to add his response was simply: “scrumptious!”.

absolutely breath-taking. I really appreciated that she sent mock-ups ahead of time so we could go back and forth with designs- she can do literally anything you ask! She also personally delivered it to my wedding which was ~2 hours away from her business for a reasonable delivery fee, which made us feel really safe about the delivery. I had originally had a different place I went to for vegan cakes, and when I asked them about tiered cakes they told me that they don't do vegan tiered cakes.. and also couldn't deliver, and they also had really limited vegan flavors and fillings. With Plant Baked by Sarah, there truly is NO SACRIFICE at all to have a vegan wedding cake. I loved all the choices and how we could have different flavors and fillings on each layer to accommodate me, my husband, and our guests favorites - so fun! We got a 6 inch, 8 inch, and 10 inch which nominally serves 75 people, and perfectly fed our 60 guests, with a safe amount of leftovers. All my guests (~90% of whom were not vegan) loved the cake and especially the icing, which wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. Had they not known me and my husband were vegan I think there wouldn't have been any known difference from a non-vegan cake. I'm actually really sad that I can't have another wedding simply to have another beautiful cake from her- but perhaps will do some birthday and anniversary ones from her in the future when we visit the DMV again!

at my wedding reception. Also she matched the decor of the cake to my wedding dress using pressed edible flowers. Amazingly beautiful and delicious. I plan on ordering samples from her again soon. Highly recommend!

wedding colors perfectly too! Our non vegan friends and family were so surprised that they were vegan and we got countless thank yous from our vegan guests for being included. Overall an easy fun experience working with Sarah and we hope to use her services again in the future. A million thank yous!!!!!

We were able to choose our favorite flavors after doing a cupcake tasting box, and then had a design consultation call to figure out what we wanted the cake to look like.
