I scheduled an initial consultation at Plant Place & Flower Basket not knowing what to expect since it was my first florist consultation. I got there a few minutes before my scheduled consultation appointment and no one was there in the shop. I had to wait for about ten minutes until I even saw anyone. I don't remember who I had the consultation with but she was SO unhelpful and rude. She asked me what kind of flowers I wanted and just shoved a few magazines at me and watched me look at them not saying a single word. She then went ahead and wrote down what flowers to put in the bouquet and expected me to put a deposit down for everything without even really asking me what I thought. I felt really pressured and was glad my fiancé was there with me to help me get out of that uncomfortable situation. I will NEVER go there again even if it's just to buy flowers for someone.

Everyones flowers were beautiful. They really took exactly what i wanted and made them perfect. I would recommend them to othe brides for sure.

We chose Plant Place & Flower Basket for our May 2012 wedding. They were recommended to us by our wedding venue. They do beautiful work and I received a lot of compliments on my centerpieces and bouquets. Excellent choice!

The flowers we received from Plant Place were more gorgeous than I ever expected. Our centerpieces were beautiful and I received so many compliments on them. The colors of our wdding (navy, peach, silver) were incoroprated into the boquets and everything looked phenomenal. I would highly reccommend them, even thought they are a bit pricey. You get what you pay for!

I let my mom take care of the flowers. My colors in my wedding were blue and grey. Well the blue flowers that I got were hidden underneath the white and extremely light blue. They do deliver to where ever you need them delivered and they were still beautiful, but the colors were so dull for my taste.

Our cake place gave us the name of this florist. The owner went out of his way to meet with us at the last minute when we were home. We had a nice meeting and decided they were the place. We had a follow-up appointment with someone different and then had another phone consult with another person. It was good we had 3 meetings b/c the colors for the wedding were off and it could have been bad however over the phone it was all worked out and the flowers were amazing. The only issue we had the flowers were delivered to church and left with a volunteer so when the groom arrived he spent a few hectic moment looking for flowers. I would recommend the florist but be sure to communicate colors.

Without going into much detail, I would recommend The Plant Place for daily florist needs such as seasonal gift bouquets of flowers but I would not recommend them for a wedding florist. In preparations, we were shown a limited amount of options.. of which none were from a log of past weddings like the other florists we visited. We are customers there however, so we gave them our business. We never signed a contract which had us nervous about reliability and we should have gone with our gut. Without being specific, we were short multiple things (more then 3 things) and only noticed upon taking photos before the ceremony. So what was suppose to be an enjoyable and relaxing ride to the church, instead was full of anxiety and phone calls to find those pieces. No one can say that their work wasnt beautiful, because it was, but that's the last thing you want to worry about moments before your ceremony, and for the price you pay- you expect service.
