I would highly recommend Plantation Catering to any bride that is looking for amazing food and professional staff that can handle anything that comes up. From my friends, family, a...
nd now my own wedding, every wedding has some last minute, unplanned challenges, and the one thing that keeps minor problems from becoming huge mistakes (that the guests feel) is professional caterers/staff that go over and beyond and know what they are doing. Plantation is that kind of caterer. Months later, I still have quests commenting about how amazing the meal was and that speaks volumes. My only recommendation would be to communicate regularly as you get closer to your wedding - you don't know what you didn't know until after the wedding so those last few weeks are key and they will assist.
We used Plantation Catering for our Rehearsal Dinner in October. While we were impressed when we had our tasting, the delivery on the day was not as expected. The appetizer was com...
pletely different from that which we requested and the main course (a chicken dish) was dry and with very limited sauce and vegetables and poor quality of rice. The saving grace were the hors d'oeuvres which were as requested.
My husband and I looked at many catering companies for our August 16th wedding. Plantation was our first and we should have known to end our search there. Amanda Saccoccio was impe...
ccable from start to finish. Anytime I needed anything she promptly responded and eased any of my anxieties. On the day of the wedding she organized the entire venue and made sure everything was as how I had always dreamed. The food was outstanding and all I heard the entire night how amazing it was. I would and will recommend Plantation Catering to everyone I know. If I ever have another event in the future, Plantation will be the only place I call.
My husband and I could not have been more pleased with Plantation Catering. From the proposal and tasting to gathering our belongings after the wedding was over, Plantation was pro...
fessional, courteous, and helpful. This was largely due to the amazing and detail-oriented wedding coordinator, Amanda. She responded to every e-mail and phone call I left her quickly - not something I can say is true of every vendor I dealt with throughout my planning process.
I left all of the various items (including decorations) with her to be put out/set-up at the wedding venue. Every item was placed where it was supposed to and looked beautiful. Most importantly, the night flowed seamlessly. All of my guests raved about how delicious the food was and the best part of all: I never had to worry about a thing. Amanda and the staff had everything under control. I also did not have to worry about my sister (who was also my maid-of-honor) eating; she has extremely severe food allergies and did not have any issues.
I would absolutely recommend them to everyone. Thank you Plantation for helping to make our wedding so wonderful!
Amanda and her team were great to work with! She was always responsive to my many questions and worked closely with us every step of the way. The food served at the wedding was del...

Kim and Amanda were fantastic. They worked to help us create the intimate dinner party we wanted for our wedding, and were really flexible in helping us stay within a reasonable bu...
dget. We had Amanda's complete attention leading up to and during the day of the wedding. We really enjoyed working with Plantation, and our guests had great things to say about our raw bar, all the apps, and our meals. Thank you, Kim and Amanda!
Look no further! Kim and her staff at Plantation are truly the best. They were extraordinarily helpful throughout the entire process; going above and beyond the call of duty and pr...
oviding the best wedding food we have ever had! Kim not only helped us put together a perfect menu (which our guests are still raving about months later!), but also helped coordinate with our florist, the rental company and the venue to ensure everything had the look we wished for and went off without a hitch! She patiently answered my many questions very quickly throughout our year of planning together. Day of she was on site herself for the entire time to make sure everything was perfect. She was constantly checking in with my husband and I to see if we needed anything, and she had a member of her staff dedicated to the wedding party to bring us appetizers and beverages wherever we were. She helped us keep track of timing, with helpful gentle reminders to make sure things stayed on track. I was able to be completely calm and relaxed on the big day because of her. Somehow she managed to both guide her staff and our wedding party with gentle and helpful tips to make everything picture perfect.
Everything was perfect from beginning to end! The food was delicious, the decorations, the service - everything!! We were thrilled! I definitely recommend and will use in the fu...

ess. They were always professional, and very quick to respond to our (many) calls and emails (thank you Amanda!!). On the day of our wedding, Kim made sure that everything went smoothly and effortlessly throughout the evening. She was constantly checking in with my husband and I to see if we needed anything, and she had a member of her staff dedicated to the wedding party to bring us appetizers and beverages wherever we were. The waitress even hiked down a huge rocky hill with a full tray of food down to where my husband and I were taking pictures! The food was delicious, and we received many compliments from our guests. I really can't say enough good things about Plantation. They are worth every penny!
The staff at Plantation was very helpful and accomodating throughout the entire planning process. We were able to do a tasting at our first meeting which was very important to us. ...
I sent many emails and I was answered promptly every time. There were a few issues the day of the wedding though that I wasnt happy about. One, I asked that my guests be served coffee at their tables but they had to go up to a table and get it themselves which I have never heard of before. We paid a lot of money and weren't too happy that our guests had to serve themselves. The bartender didn't ID anyone so underage people were drinking which caused a problem. That isn't something my husband and I should have had to worry about on our wedding day but unfortunately it was.
Good to work with overall. Few small things I wish had gone differently
1) groom and I barely got any hors d'oeuvres --wish they had given us a small plate
2) we asked for the ki...

Other than that -- food was great, cake was delicious, staff was good.

e overlooked, so my only recommendation is to remind your manager of all special requests. Overall, a huge hit. We got lots of compliments on our food!
