nd now my own wedding, every wedding has some last minute, unplanned challenges, and the one thing that keeps minor problems from becoming huge mistakes (that the guests feel) is professional caterers/staff that go over and beyond and know what they are doing. Plantation is that kind of caterer. Months later, I still have quests commenting about how amazing the meal was and that speaks volumes. My only recommendation would be to communicate regularly as you get closer to your wedding - you don't know what you didn't know until after the wedding so those last few weeks are key and they will assist.

pletely different from that which we requested and the main course (a chicken dish) was dry and with very limited sauce and vegetables and poor quality of rice. The saving grace were the hors d'oeuvres which were as requested.

ccable from start to finish. Anytime I needed anything she promptly responded and eased any of my anxieties. On the day of the wedding she organized the entire venue and made sure everything was as how I had always dreamed. The food was outstanding and all I heard the entire night how amazing it was. I would and will recommend Plantation Catering to everyone I know. If I ever have another event in the future, Plantation will be the only place I call.

fessional, courteous, and helpful. This was largely due to the amazing and detail-oriented wedding coordinator, Amanda. She responded to every e-mail and phone call I left her quickly - not something I can say is true of every vendor I dealt with throughout my planning process.
I left all of the various items (including decorations) with her to be put out/set-up at the wedding venue. Every item was placed where it was supposed to and looked beautiful. Most importantly, the night flowed seamlessly. All of my guests raved about how delicious the food was and the best part of all: I never had to worry about a thing. Amanda and the staff had everything under control. I also did not have to worry about my sister (who was also my maid-of-honor) eating; she has extremely severe food allergies and did not have any issues.
I would absolutely recommend them to everyone. Thank you Plantation for helping to make our wedding so wonderful!

Kim not only helped us put together a perfect menu (which our guests are still raving about months later!), but also helped coordinate with our florist, the rental company and the venue to ensure everything had the look we wished for and went off without a hitch! She patiently answered my many questions very quickly throughout our year of planning together. Day of she was on site herself for the entire time to make sure everything was perfect. She was constantly checking in with my husband and I to see if we needed anything, and she had a member of her staff dedicated to the wedding party to bring us appetizers and beverages wherever we were. She helped us keep track of timing, with helpful gentle reminders to make sure things stayed on track. I was able to be completely calm and relaxed on the big day because of her. Somehow she managed to both guide her staff and our wedding party with gentle and helpful tips to make everything picture perfect.

On the day of our wedding, Kim made sure that everything went smoothly and effortlessly throughout the evening. She was constantly checking in with my husband and I to see if we needed anything, and she had a member of her staff dedicated to the wedding party to bring us appetizers and beverages wherever we were. The waitress even hiked down a huge rocky hill with a full tray of food down to where my husband and I were taking pictures! The food was delicious, and we received many compliments from our guests. I really can't say enough good things about Plantation. They are worth every penny!

I sent many emails and I was answered promptly every time. There were a few issues the day of the wedding though that I wasnt happy about. One, I asked that my guests be served coffee at their tables but they had to go up to a table and get it themselves which I have never heard of before. We paid a lot of money and weren't too happy that our guests had to serve themselves. The bartender didn't ID anyone so underage people were drinking which caused a problem. That isn't something my husband and I should have had to worry about on our wedding day but unfortunately it was.
