Plantation Farms was a great venue to get married! They have multiple places where you can hold your ceremony, and the venue holds a lot of guests. I would have left 5 stars, but t...
here are some things that needed improvement. The brides suite does not have a bathroom attached, so you have to travel to their smaller barn to use the restroom. The groom’s suite is basically a large closet with chairs, and there are few amenities with that. The new venue manager Elizabeth Harrell was very willing to help, but she wasn’t very knowledgable compared to the original owner Cindy Gardner. I booked with Cindy, and felt like I was referred to Elizabeth who then did not seem to have the same knowledge and experience as Cindy. They have some things to learn, and I felt like if we hadn’t been as prepared and organized as we were, the wedding wouldn’t have gone as smoothly because of their lack of experience. All in all, the issues that we had were minuscule, and I would definitely recommend this venue, just be sure you know what to prepare for
We absolutely loved our venue, and just as important we loved the owner Mrs. Cindy. She was so easy to work with, and very helpful by giving advice when asked for it. She is so swe...
et, and the venue is gorgeous. The barn is amazing at night with all the strings or lights and chandeliers.
My sister had her wedding here, and many of us, guests and wedding party alike, noticed the owner seemed to be very disgruntled. The venue was reserved for us until 11 pm, but Cind...
y started cleaning up the barn we were in around 8:30. Table linens and decor were put away, and drinks that people were still drinking were thrown away. The fire in the barn we were in was put out around 9:30; completely inappropriate for a chilly November night. Not one time did I see Cindy smile; instead she lurked about, following guests like she suspected them of wrongdoing, or glowering in a corner. Her attitude was completely different a few years ago when my other sister got married here; we were all quite shocked at the change. For the price you pay to have a wedding here, I'd say it certainly isn't worth it, unless you like being made to feel unwanted. Other people remarked that Cindy has been this way at quite a few weddings recently, and all I have to say is, if you don't love your job, running a wedding venue is the last thing you need to be doing. There is no need for such a dark cloud to be hanging over anyone's heads on such an important day. It's a beautiful location and very well maintained, but the owner's attitude is a deal breaker.
I can't say enough about this venue! The location was the most beautiful place I've ever seen! Best of both worlds. The grounds are perfectly kept and wonderfully manicured. The b...
arn is just breathtaking! But what really puts the place over the top... the owners! Mrs. Cindy was such a pleasure to work with and helped us is so many ways! She listened to the vision I had and helped make that happen. She was so accommodating and sweet! Plantation Farms is the perfect touch that made my wedding the beauty I had always invisioned!
Cindy, the owner, was absolutely amazing and SO helpful. If you're looking for the perfect barn, this is it!! It's around middle Georgia, so not too far south. It's close to restau...
rants and hotels, but still in the country and next to cotton farms! It was beautiful! My wedding day was perfect!
Plantation Farms was a dream wedding location for me! The setting was beautiful; and the owner, Cindy, was a DREAM to work with! She was always so accommodating and understanding! ...
The thing I liked most about this venue was the fact that Cindy has accumulated a great deal of decor during her time as a wedding venue owner, all of which was available for use during my wedding. Not only did this save me from having to buy a lot of decorations that only would've been used once, but it also saved me a lot of time and hassle, since wedding planning did not come naturally to me. With the natural beauty and all of the decor items Plantation Farms included, I could've simply shown up the day of without a single decoration in my hands and the wedding would have been stunning! That being said, decor of your own is of course welcome to add your own personalized touches.
Cindy is amazing. The whole place is beautiful and she does everything for you! The venue includes the chairs tables and linens. We were talking about using sparklers for our leavi...
ng moment and she told us to not buy them. She went ahead and provided them for us. She even provided lanterns and other items to help. Amazing!!!
This venue is absolutely beautiful and the owners are so sweet and helpful.
We had a wonderful experience at Plantation Farms! It is a horse boarding farm, but they do weddings there every weekend through the spring and fall. The owners are very nice and a...
ccessible, and they really work hard to make the entire experience a pleasant one. We had the ceremony outdoors and the reception in a converted barn, and the entire venue is beautiful! We could not have had a better day or a better experience.
