Plantation Golf and Country Club is a one-of-a-kind wedding venue in Venice, FL. Banquets, festive parties and social events are held throughout the year and Members can host their own celebrations in the private dining room. The possibilities are endless when planning your private event. We can prepare everything from Chateaubriand to dishes prepared with your Mother’s own recipes. Manor Dining Room overlooks our beautifully landscaped property and grounds. The banquet facility is expandable to fit groups from 50 up to 500 with a full dance floor space and private bar area. We recommend you come in for a full tour of our facility and menus. It’s the most important day of your life, and hosting an outdoor wedding in our Florida venue is a great way to begin a life together. You want it to be as special and memorable as possible.

guests for drinks upon arrival. 2. We selected 3 hors d'oeuvres to be passed and we never saw one of them 3. Dinner entrees were completely wrong serving the completely wrong dish and they were cold 4. After cutting our wedding cake they left a half chopped up piece thrown around on a plate 5. The staff was rude and had stains all over them. THE LIST CONTINUES. Don't ruin your special day or event by choosing this venue! They did absolutely nothing about it either.

staff was amazing and they didn't miss a single detail. The food was amazing, we did the prime rib carving station and that was fantastic. I think we definitely found a gem with this venue. We had the get ready rooms for the girls and guys day of and from the moment we stepped foot on the property the day of until we left that night we were treated like we were the most important people there. Thank you Christine, Pamela, Jessica and Kayla for making this the most magical day !!!!

compliments on the service, food and drinks. The grounds were gorgeous. Because of the August heat we used the dance floor for our ceremony location and then the normal reception hall. They broke down the ceremony room so quickly and efficiently the guests didn't even realize they were entering the same space but with a different entrance. Not to mention, how nice the locker rooms were for us to get ready in. Something about being able to be at your wedding venue all day makes it so much less stressful. If you are looking for a venue that will go the extra mile for you then you have found the right one!

o Jessie became my go to. She had a plan for nearly every concern I had and worked extra hard to find solutions to dilemmas I ran into. The day of the wedding ran super smooth because of her coordinating. No one noticed her working behind the scenes but she was there instantly when I needed her. As for the venue, it is just beautiful. The staff were all incredible and the food was amazing! My uncle said it was the best chicken he had ever had and we're Italian so food is very important to us. Every one of our guests and even our other vendors were impressed with Plantation in Venice. The best part was, even though it looked like a million dollar wedding, my husband and I were able to afford it all on our own. I could not be happier with Plantation.

ut she took care of everything and never made us aware of it. She truly made sure we enjoyed our evening with family and friends. All of the food was delicious and the servers were very attentive. We had our ceremony, a large cocktail hour, and then a large sit down dinner reception with dancing. All of these transitions ran smoothly. Jessica made sure we used the space in an effective way. Everything for our special day was perfect and Plantation had everything to do with that.

e to purchase so much in food, which was easy with 150+ guests. There was a $100 ceremony fee to get married there but that was nothing. Once we decorated, the reception area was gorgeous!! It was like my dreams coming true! We choose a plated dinner and gave the options of London broil, chicken with provencal sauce or salmon with a lemon herb beurre blanc sauce with green beans and rice pilaf. The food was amazing!! Everyone still talks about the dinner, that it was so good they wanted seconds! The wait staff didn't do the appetizers correctly, only going to certain tables and letting people take more than two. We did have some tables that didn't get any at all. But all in all, they did a great job. Especially keeping this bride from going off the deep end. Jessica, the event coordinator, was amazing, no matter happened, she was always smiling and telling me not to worry. It was a beautiful place to get married and have our pictures done. I totally suggest that if you're looking for a serene place to get married that is pretty inexpensive, definitely get them a call!!!

informative and helpful every step of the way. It's not everyday you get married and when you do you want everything to be perfect and it was. The staff was attentive, professional and amazing to say the least. The food was beyond delicious our guests are still talking about the entrees and the reception. The food was fresh, hot and uniquely served.It was very fairly priced. The attention that the staff gave to our guests was simply the best service they have ever experienced. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for an elegant, cozy place to celebrate their special occasion with their familiy and friends at this beautiful Country club.

nd what was included in the contract. It was the easiest part of the wedding.;Unfortunately, the food and beverage coordinator no longer works there. He was a huge help. However, the service and atmosphere is still excellent!
