This band is AWESOME! Very professional and easy to work with; have incredible range and talent and is guaranteed to be a hit. They were at my sisters wedding back in May 2014 and I had them at mine in October 2022 and both events were incredible. Keep getting compliments on the band! Don't think anyone had less than a great time!

Platinum Band is excellent -- four of my cousins used Platinum for their weddings, and they were an obvious choice for mine. The entire experience was user friendly from start to finish, and the band even learned several new songs for our wedding. The music and energy was great; the band kept the crowd on the dance floor all night! Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Picking wedding music is an expensive decision! But Platinum Band Music made that decision the best one we made in planning the wedding . They went over and beyond in terms of accommodating us, returning calls and remained flexible throughout the entire process. Many guests inquired about their availability and told us they were worth every dollar. We agree! Would book then again and again. Do not hesitate to book them!

I cannot even begin to explain how perfect the Platinum Band Music was at our wedding. From the moment my wedding planner connected us with Angel, I knew the band completely understood our vision. Angel even went to tour our venue to confirm the space would work for the band size we wanted. The entire process with them was efficient and clear. We met again a few weeks before the wedding to review our song list, and we mentioned that we wanted our entrance song to be the Top Gun Anthem. It was not on their song list, but we were okay with a recording for our entrance. As we were introduced at our wedding, we realized PBM actually learned the Top Gun Anthem and Danger Zone for us! It was my husband's favorite part of the entire wedding. The wedding was just what we wanted it to be…a dance party that kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. We can't thank PBM enough!!

Platinum Band Music was perfect for our wedding. They got everyone up on the dance floor the minute they started and no one left the dance floor until they stopped playing. The sounded great and had the best playlist! Highly recommend!

We had a tough time finding a band for our 2021 wedding - but our planner came through with a highly praised recommendation for Platinum Band & they did not disappoint! I will admit we were a little nervous because we went into this booking "blindly" but we had the BEST TIME working with them and having them play our wedding! Angel was awesome to work with - very communicative and reassuring with my questions and concerns. They took all of our recommendations, desired music genres and requests and completely ran with it. They played all night long and we had guests on the dance floor the whole night! We still have guests telling us how awesome they were and we could not agree more. We received SOO many compliments from our guests about our band! Right from that start, we had such a great experience with them. They worked with our budget, and were extremely responsive via email right off the bat! They were very flexible and accommodating and stuck with us through 5 postponement dates! They were super easy to work with and talk to, and sounded awesome! Our guests were dancing all night, and so many people said how great the band was! We had a 10 piece band, and also hired one of the musicians for our cocktail hour. They were able to sing such a variety of songs, and they definitely set the tone for a great night!! THIS BAND! Angel was crucial in helping us achieve our #1 priority of having a live band at our wedding. She helped us build a custom band off of Platinum Groove and man, they kept us partying all night long. Every single one of them was fantastic. Multiple people said that they have never been to a wedding like ours where the band was non-stop - dancing for four hours straight! Even when the band members took breaks, one member would stay back and take turns to play some background dinner music. They also nailed our wedding song ''Coming Home" - Leon Bridges, which was a special request. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Angelynn will take the time to go over every request to make your wedding perfect. She is very detail oriented and nothing will be missed. They will adapt the music to the age range of your guests and everyone will be dancing and having a great time due to amazing voices and clarity of the entire band. They will customize entry music for every member of your wedding party. You will get amazing customer service from beginning to end. They are very timely, everything was set up and tested well before our reception started. They also provided the speaker and microphone for the minister and did another great job with that. All of our guests said that the Platinum Band Music was the best group that they ever heard from all the venues that they ever attended. You will have no worries with this group - just tell them what you want and it will be done. A+++++++ all the way!!!

Platinum Band Music were absolutely amazing. In light of covid. we opted for some live music as the few guests we had were unlikely to mingle. The band was incredible, played many of our favorites, and even had some great easy jazz listening for dinner. They made our wedding celebration so memorable. We were very happy we decided to have them at our celebration. Would highly recommend!

I truly believe this is the best band in the country. I can honestly say that the best wedding music I’ve ever heard was at my own wedding. They know every song, the covers are SPOT on, they MC to perfection, and I knew I just had nothing to worry about with them the whole time I was wedding planning (yes, even during COVID). Angel gave us ideas on how to maintain social distancing and safety measures while still having an epic and exciting event. My parents first saw Platinum Band music at a family friend’s wedding and raved about them to my sister who was planning her wedding at the time. After we saw their amazing performances at my sister’s wedding and then again my best friend’s wedding, when my fiancé and I got engaged we knew there was no better choice. They had everyone dancing all night and really made our night perfect. One thing that truly stands out and impressed me about seeing them at 3 different weddings is their range. My sister love country music, my best friend is more of a Springsteen girl, and I love pop and all of the above. They absolutely crushed it all! Hiring Platinum Band Music was the easiest and best choice of our wedding!

PBM was the most amazing band ever! They made our wedding night AMAZING!! The guests were on the dance floor the entire night! I highly recommend them!

I knew the Platinum Band was good, but they still exceeded our high expectations. They offer a wide range of selections and played many of the songs we requested. Highlights were "Tiny Dancer," "Tenth Avenue Freezeout," "All Night Long," and "Africa." I also requested any songs from my favorite band, not quite sure what to expect—during the dinner service they played several song from them, and some were even deep cuts. My friends and I were ecstatic. Many people at our wedding acknowledged PBM was the best wedding band they had ever seen. At one point, my wife walked into the dance floor area to see our guests simply staring and cheering at the band in awe as if it were a real concert. In short, PBM was truly awesome and worth every penny.

Platinum Band was AMAZING!!!! We started our down the shore cocktail hour with calypso music that got everyone in the beach mode. I left the song list 100% up to the band. I had no idea what they were going to play. Boy, did they not disappoint! Everyone was up and dancing the entire night. My guests are still raving about how amazing the music was.

The Platinum Band MADE our wedding! We had so many people come up to us and tell us how incredible the band was throughout the night - and even weeks after the wedding, they are still raving about the music! We and all of our wedding guests - young & old - LOVED Platinum Band Music! We had them play at our 60th Birthday Party 1 1/2 years ago, and then became engaged. We booked them (10 members including trumpet and sax) immediately for our wedding reception. For our First Dance they played a semi-custom version of Billy Joel's "Just the Way You Are" - and together we rocked it! They helped make our reception wonderful!! We highly recommend them for their excellent music and versatile singing.

This review is a bit delayed as my daughter’s wedding was in December. I rarely write reviews, but I needed to praise Platinum Band Music. They were fabulous! A musician friend of ours recommended the band. Angel was extremely easy to work with, from inviting us to the showcase, reviewing the song list with the bride who was out of town, setting up and honoring requests. The band provided music all evening, including the cocktail hour and meal service. They played to the crowd and were extremely professional. You could see that they enjoyed performing as much as we enjoyed listening and dancing to the music. We had a 9 piece band on a smaller dance floor. They were able to accommodate the space to allow everyone to dance. And Everyone danced All night long. The horns added an extra layer to the music and the multiple lead singers expanded the repertoire. At times we had to check to see if the the original artists had come, as the band was that good! We had numerous compliments about the music from the guests who spanned all ages and were from all parts of the country. The investment in live music was well worth it. We all highly recommend The Platinum Band! They helped make the wedding a joyous event!

We had one priority for our wedding day, which was to make sure that everyone was dancing the entire night. Thanks to Angel and the rest of the Platinum Band crew our wedding wishes came true!!! We found Platinum Band Music on Youtube and because we live in Ireland had to trust that they would sound as good in person as they did on their videos. I'm glad we trusted our gut because they blew their own youtube clips out of the water in person!! Angel and her band were amazing at reading the room, keeping the energy high and even played several Irish songs to make half of our guests who flew in from Ireland feel at home!! We wish we could relive this night over and over again and the dance party was a huge part of it. My mom commented the day after our wedding that the dance floor was so full that she spend most of her night dancing on the carpet outside the dance floor. After several recommendations from happy couples in my home town and promises that Platinum will have your guests dancing all night, we went them! We couldn’t have been happier that we did. We got married March 9th and the Ryland Inn and chose the ten person band and also had a pianist for our wedding ceremony and two people for our cocktail hour. Platinum BAND is awesome - the dance floor was packed the whole time and so many of our guests raves about them. Angelynn is SUPER easy to work with and super helpful in calming some nerves before the big day giving guidance around band placement, wedding ceremony & wedding ceremony music. It was clear she had done this a million times and brought that level of experience and professionalism but really ”got us” and listened and made sure everything was perfect and seamless!!! The Platinum Band blew away my expectations. There presence from the moment you walked into the room set the stage for the night. Our first dance song as husband and wife was a Frank Sintra song and half our guests thought it was a recording the band and singer sounded that good. Every song they played was just spot on. I am going to be honest- I put my husband in charge of the planning for this. He said it was so easy. The team was extremely responsive and they made outlining song choices and providing input very streamlined and easy (I was involved with this part). I could not be more happy with the Platnium Band. I want to plan my next event just so we can have them play again!

One of the top priorities for my wife and I was to have a band at our wedding reception and we could not be happier with our decision to go with Platinum Band Music! They were incredible! From Sinatra to Bruno Mars and everything in between, they nailed it. Dance floor was packed and we still have people telling us how great the band was. My one job for the wedding was picking the band and The Platinum band made me look like a genius. They played with no breaks and had everyone on the floor all night. I couldn't imagine a better wedding band. I got married on 9/15/18 and still whenever I run into any of our guests all they say is how good the band was, and they haven't danced that much in years. They are extremely easy to work with and know how to keep the party going.

Platinum Band rocked the party! This is the FOURTH time we have been at a wedding with them...we booked Platinum the day we booked our venue. We couldn't recommend PBM more. They were SO easy to work with, asked the right questions, were available to answer any questions, and put together a GREAT song list based off our must-haves and do-not-play list. You will NOT be disappointed if you book PBM!

My husband and I have attended more than 25 weddings in recent years. We both agree that the difference between a good wedding reception and a great one is the quality of the band. So when we started planning our daughter's wedding a year ago, we placed a high priority on choosing the right band. We chose Platinum Band Music for our daughter's wedding and PBM far exceeded our expectations. We had over 220 guests and at least 90% of them found their way to the dance floor. We asked PBM to play without any breaks once the toasts and dinner were completed and for well over 2 hours, the entire dance floor was jam packed. They played all the songs we requested and more, read the crowd perfectly, mixed in a few slower songs at the appropriate time, which kept the party going strong the entire evening. Angel was terrific to work with planning the playlist and being flexible about all our specific requests. Most of our guests went out of their way to tell us how much they loved the band and that it was one of the best wedding celebrations they had ever attended. Without reservation, we highly recommend PBM for your event.

Choosing Platinum Band Music was the best wedding decision we made! Music was at the top of our list when it came to wedding vendors. We went to many showcases and even trekked into the city to listen to different bands but none compared to PBM. They are true musicians that play an amazing variety of songs. We booked the 9 piece Platinum Soul band and all of our guests still have not stopped talking about how great our band was. Some even asked for their contact info to have them at their own weddings (which we are hoping for so we can hear them again :) Angel was super easy to work with throughout the whole process. It was especially nice to work directly with her, rather than a company- it made the planning much more personal. We HIGHLY recommend Platinum Band Music and can promise you your night will be as magical as ours was!

My husband and I are so happy we picked PBM to be our wedding band. Angel was great to work with. She is SOO responsive and was always able to answer all my questions. It was great getting to work directly with the band and not a manager or booking company. We did the 10 piece platinum soul band and let me tell you the rocked the night away! The band is so versatile and is really able to play ALL styles of music including current hits. Angel learned No Scrubs for Me (my favorite song) and one of the singers rapped the Jay-z part of Crazy in Love. It was GREAT. All of my guests told me they had to keep checking to see if the band was actually playing or if they switched to an ipod because they sounded exactly like the original. All of my guests were on the dance floor the whole night and we owe that all to PBM. If you want an amazing band that is easy to work with and will have your whole wedding dancing the night away, then book PBM!

Wow! Platinum Band is truly incredible and insanely talented! When we heard them perform for the first time, we instantly booked them! They completely blew us away! Our wedding was so much fun and we have Platinum Band to thank for that! They played a fun variety song and every single person at the wedding was dancing! My husband and I were lucky enough to have Platinum Band Music play our recent June wedding, and I must say - other than the Bride and Groom (of course family will tell us we were their favorite part) - the band got unbelievable reviews from all of our family and friends. They are true musicians - able to play for hours on end, and they have the unique ability to read the crowd- something that came in handy with our mixed group of wedding guests. I cannot say enough praises for this incredible group of musicians - the songs they focused on (father/daughter, first dance with my husband) were absolutely incredible - I swear, Elton John showed up to sing 'Tiny Dancer' and Van Morrison was there too when he sang 'Into the Mystic' - we couldn't have been any luckier, and I would recommend this group to ANYONE. I must also add that they put on an incredible ceremony (string quartet), and Cocktail Party (jazz trio) so be sure to ask them about those services as well. You blew us away! Cheers!

We used the 10 piece platinum soul band for our wedding this past May and we couldn't be happier with the amazing job they did!! At first my husband did not want to go with a band due to our budget, but after seeing them perform at a showcase we were sold immediately. The Platinum Band is reasonably priced, very professional, friendly, and upbeat. We absolutely would have paid more then what they charge, we think they are under priced for the NJ/NY market. Their set lists ranges from 60's and 70's rock, to Motown, to newer hits. They will work with you to learn any song requests you have before the event. All three of our staged dances (father-daughter, first dance, and mother son dance) were not on their set list they gave us but they learned them and played them beautifully for the reception. Angel keeps the party going, perfectly spacing out the dances throughout the evening and keeping the reception on track. At one point there were so many people on the dance floor that our guests had to move some of the tables out of the way to fit everyone! They kept the party going all night. We will absolutely be using them and recommending them for every event where music is needed in the future.

Platinum Band literally made my wedding day SO PERFECT! I am absolutely blown away by their talent, professionalism and just amazing-ness! Truly, I wish I could count the number of people that complimented them to me, and inquired about "where did you find them!?". Hiring a band was the most important vendor to me, and I’m so happy we chose PBM! So many guests raved about how talented they were. We had a 9 piece and they had the dancefloor going the entire evening. I’m super picky about song choices and Angelynn was very accommodating and they played all the music we love. The band has a diverse range of talent, so all genres of music sounded amazing. From oldies to pop and everything in between. Amazing!! We have received so many compliments regarding our band selection. They are an incredibly talented bunch! Our friends and family were up dancing the entire night. This band was incredible. They had everyone on the dance floor non stop and played an incredible set of exactly the type of music that we wanted for our event. The band can play anything and each singer brings something different to the table. When they played Rosalita I felt like I was at a Springsteen show for a minute. Platinum Band is first class all the way and I hope to experience them again at another event soon!!

Once again, (yes our 2nd daughter has "gone platinum"), The Platinum Band has outdone themselves. There wasn't a square inch of dance floor that wasn't being used. The music was wonderful. I would highly recommend them.

Amazing!!! Wow our guests had so much fun! So many compliments, our guests were/still are raving! Angellyn and her team really pulled it together, they read the crowd spot on! We gave them a little bit of a task with our wedding song but Steve really pulled it off, it was amazing! Highly, highly recommend!

We used Platinum Band Music for our ceremony and they were amazing. Angel was SO easy so work with and helpful when it came to choosing music. They have such a wide range of offerings, and even learned music that we chose that wasn't in their portfolio. We danced the whole night ! Everyone had such an amazing time. It was a pleasure working with Angel and I would highly recommend hiring Platinum Music Band to anyone looking for a good live band! They sent me a full list of all the songs they play and we sent back all the songs we wanted to hear. We cut out all the songs we did not want and all the songs played were ones we picked so we loved everything! Awesome band!

Wedding entertainment was HUGE to me when it came to planning our wedding. I felt it was one of the first things we needed to book and was really important that we got it right. We could not have made a better decision!! Platinum Band was incredible!! My husband's brother and several other close family friends, had them at their wedding and their guests were still talking about them years later. Every single person we spoke to after our wedding mentioned how incredible our band was. They had everyone on the dance floor and met the needs of all the ages. They did an excellent job feeling the crowd and the communication before the wedding was great. They were so personable. Definitely book them right away!

We just got married on 6/29/17 and used Platinum band. They were very professional with planning all the details and Angel called to go over the final details a week before the wedding. Everyone from our wedding keeps talking about how AMAZING our band was. Five people from the wedding have taken their information to use this band at their events. They had everyone up and dancing the ENTIRE wedding. Even during dinner time one singer would be singing and their voice is just amazing !! I definitely recommend this band !

Our wedding was two days ago, and although I don't leave reviews often, I couldn't wait to write this more than well deserved one. From the start, Angel and the rest of the band were the epitome of professionals. Never having planned a wedding, I had no idea what I was doing, and Angel walked me through every step of the process. She diligently followed up and communicated well from the very start of our wedding planning process, through our wedding day. She was easy to get in touch with, and was patient with my (many) questions. We liked that we were guided through making personalized choices and the end result was a soundtrack for our wedding day that was more perfect and true to us than I could ever have imagined. One worry I had was that because our wedding was during the day (12-5) people wouldn't dance. Angel and the guys read our crowd and dance floor was completely full the entire time. Planning a wedding involves so many different details to research, plan, and oversee. It was so nice to be able to let go, and trust Angel with such an important aspect of what makes a wedding memorable- the music. At times, I forgot a band was playing. Sinatra songs sounded like he was singing himself, and the same goes for Coldplay, Springstein, and the list goes on. After the party was over, not a few, but multiple people told us they were the best wedding band they had EVER heard. One important word of advice if you are considering this band. If you are watching their videos on youtube (because who doesn't want to hear what their prospective wedding band sounds like)- they are 10x better live. We thought they sounded okay/good in the videos but weren't necessarily blown away. From the first song they played at our wedding we were absolutely blown away. They nailed every. single. song. Huge huge thanks to Angel and the guys. They were everything and more we could have wanted from a band at our wedding. You will not be disappointed that you trust them with yours as well. -Natalie

On a whim and sort of by accident I came across Platinum in a bridal magazine. I know what you’re going to say – you found your vendors in a bridal magazine?? Typically no, but after not finding what I was looking for in a band elsewhere, I decided to research them. After finding them on Youtube, my fiancé and I quickly said “these guys are amazing” as they were the perfect blend of our scattered and sometimes contradictory music tastes (any couple with an age gap will know what I mean!) They invited us to a showcase and we looked forward to finding out if their live sound was as good as their recorded sound. WAS IT EVER?! We sent in our deposit that same night. When it came to selecting our music (we used Platinum for our ceremony music, cocktail hour and reception), Angel was patient, helpful and knowledgable. There is literally no song they don’t know! They MADE our wedding and even though we chose 11 of them – you can genuinely tell how well run the band is, and how insanely talented each and every one of them are. They had our crowd (ages 20-85) up and dancing the entire night and while everyone compliments your wedding, the compliments on our band have literally not stopped coming in. We wish they played gigs so we can hear them more regularly but instead, we’ll just have to keep referring them so maybe a friend uses them in the future!! Thank you so much for making our wedding AMAZING. If you are even thinking of a DJ – don’t! If you are thinking of another band – don’t!! These guys can play ANYTHING variety-wise, decade wise, and they can jump around without making it seem like it. 10 stars!

Platinum was absolutely unbelievable! They knocked it out of the park. The sound was perfect, the band was perfect, everything was way better than we expected and people WILL NOT stop raving. Definitely the best choice we made!!

BEST decision we made for our wedding day! Not only did they sound PHENOMENAL but they really know how to read the crowd and play certain music depending on the audience. The dance floor was jam packed the entire night at my wedding! One song was better than the next. They even played an encore after the last song because everyone was begging for one more!! They are the best wedding band around. They absolutely made my wedding the best party my guests have every been to. From start to first the music was incredible and everyone was up dancing and having a blast. I think music was one of the most important part of a wedding and they are worth every penny. They were also the band at my older sisters wedding and guests were so excited to hear that they would be at my wedding as well because they are THAT GOOD! This band is awesome. People were on their feet the entire night and had an absolute blast. Great musicians and the vocals were outstanding. Angel is a pleasure to deal with. Very professional and responsive. This is the second time I have used them and highly recommend them.

Platinum Band was awesome!!!!! People would not stop dancing. The singers were great, the saxophone was awesome and the band was engaging. They played lots of Bruce (nailed Rosalita), and epic Shout rendition, and Piano Man was on point. I loved the band and would highly recommend them for any wedding.

Platinum Band performed at my wedding in 2015, and when my sister got engaged the first phone call made was to check the band's availability for summer 2016. We planned the date around the band because they did such an incredible job the first time, and last night they might have outdone themselves. From start to finish, Angel and the team were phenomenal. I had a guest come up to me later to say that he had never been to a wedding where people were dancing before dinner. The band is amazing!

Platinum went above and beyond our highest expectations. Angel was great to work with prior to our wedding and once the day came we were blown away. Our guests are still raving about the band weeks later. They played the music we both liked, read the crowd perfectly with hit after hit, and had everyone dancing all night. Nailed every genre too whether it was a favorite Bruce song or Pitbull. I can't say enough about how they helped make our special night the funnest night ever.
