Awesome teacher! Made it fun and we learned so much from her! A must for any couple for their first dance!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Shelly was great- very patient but particular about what we are doing. Everyone LOVED our first dance, it was so much fun! Shelly is very creative and is willing to work within your skill level and time constraits- she was great!

My husband and I took group lessons to get ready for our wedding. We both had a good time and were able to learn some simple moves. We aren't the best dancers, but it was cool being able to do something other than rocking back and forth for our first dance. Shelley was a great teacher and was really patient with going over the moves if you didn't get it right away. I would really recommend taking classes here and you can even schedule private lessons if you really want to impress your guests!

My husband and I decided to take dance lessons almost as soon as we got engaged. However, since we were long-distance for the period immediately prior to our wedding, we were not sure how we were going to pull it off. 3 hours later with Shelley and we were foxtrotting to "It Had to Be You" and wowing our audience. True, we lost the rhythm a few times, but our guests were wowed and it was a fun memory that we will cherish for years to come. Shelley took us from having NO knowledge of dance and no rhythm, to rocking our first dance! She is patient and friendly, and definitely understands how to cater to different skill levels. Plus, she has "Dance Parties" on Friday nights where you can go to practice your steps at a lower fee. Overall, I think her prices were very reasonable. My parents also took dance lessons from her to prepare for my wedding and now they're hooked! Shelley is a "must" for all Lansing-area newlyweds looking to wow their guests!!
