Tom was the DJ for our wedding and we could not be happier with our experience. He provided us with online planning and request tools to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted and what we were looking for, and he was such a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. He was incredibly courteous to the coordinators at our venue and worked so well with them to provide the sound and music for our ceremony and reception. He was super flexible with changes that were made throughout the day and EVERYONE was telling us how much they loved his song choices! He kept our guests dancing all night despite the heat, and sent us off with a wonderful last dance for our guests to join us for. Tom, we are so grateful to have found you and to have had you as our Wedding DJ. Your kindness, hard work, and amazing taste in music made you the best choice, and I hope many others will do the same!

We couldn't be happier with services that DJ Tom Hawkins provided for our wedding. He provided both the music for the outdoor ceremony and the reception music and MC/DJ services. Some highlights of working with Tom: 1) The transition from the ceremony to reception was so seamless. The music never stopped all night, and the ceremony music was exactly what we wanted. We also used his equipment for the ceremony (wireless mics etc.) and it worked perfectly! 2) There is an online wedding planner where you can put your song requests in. The song library is hugely extensive, but if there is any song that you want that is not listed (and we had a few special songs that are not wildly popular) Tom will get it for you to play at the wedding. This was so important to us; we were going to send him the song, and he had already downloaded it from the planner before we asked. 3) The dance floor was packed all night, in fact many guests (of all ages) kept coming up to say how much they were enjoying the music. I think he also played every song that we requested before the wedding, as well as being able to read the crowd and play requests from the guests. 4) Tom's pricing is very fair and transparent, and I never felt like he was trying to up-sell us, instead just provide a great service that we had agreed upon. 5) His M/C-ing was exactly what we wanted. He was also very accommodating for any special requests we had (announcements about why this song was special, or even to help coordinate a surprise song from the father of the bride). He was a true gentleman, and not at all over-bearing. We wholeheartedly recommend DJ Tom Hawkins for your wedding or special event. He really helped us have the most wonderful day Jamie & Daniel

Great DJ! Wonderful sound, set up, lighting, music choices, games, photo booth. I will definitely use them again for future parties/events. My coworker recommended Platinum Entertainment for my wedding, because she had a great experience with them at her own wedding. After much research, I found they had the best prices around. Tom was very easy to contact and responded quickly every time to any questions I had. He is very friendly and professional. The event planner form on the website makes the process of finding your special songs much easier to organize. The day of the wedding, we were very impressed! Tom was very accommodating, setting up outside for our ceremony, and inside on the ballroom dance floor. The uplighting was beautiful and the photo booth was so much fun (and he gives you a book with a copy of all the photo booth pictures!). His song selections were great, people were dancing all night long, which was the most important thing to us in our wedding - making it a party. He also took charge to remind people to sign our guest book, he guided the night by making sure everything went smoothly - from introductions, to the first dance, to toasts. He even included and lead a really fun newlywed shoe game that was hilarious! Working with Tom was a pleasure. He was great at managing the transitions between each part/event in the party. I highly recommend contacting Platinum Entertainment for your wedding or event. Definitely opt for the uplighting - it was a beautiful added touch!

I recently used Platinum Entertainment for my wedding and found them to be average at best. If you want them to actual play the music that you manually enter into an online planner--tell them to play nothing else. I spent hours loading our song choices into the online planner and then heard none of them during dinner. The DJ was nice, showed up on time, had the correct equipment, but I was disappointed with my experience overall.
