Growing up in Pittsburgh, PA Justin Markle got involved with music at the age of 11 when he started playing the trumpet and joined the school chorus. In his high school years his talents landed him in the school’s show choir and jazz band After moving to Columbus, Justin began his DJ career in the year 2000 with a company in Worthington. After 5 years of learning everything he could about music and public performance, he found his passion for bringing families and friends together with the power of music. In 2005 Justin started out on his own creating Platinum Music Productions.

Justin was a great DJ! He did a great job of blending all of the selections together - even knew the importance of (Taylor's Version) - which is quite important for a Swiftie! There were a few technical issues the day of - but some of that may have been on the venue itself. All in all it was an amazing day and Justin helped to make it happen!

Justin is a talented DJ with a great feel for his audience. Since the beginning, Justin streamlined communications with his easy-to-use website and met with us several times over Zoom. He did not waste time helping us choose songs and map out our day. On the day of the wedding, Justin was very self-sufficient and my wife and I never felt the need to interfere. He played songs and requests that were popular for the generation on the dance floor, which ultimately is what you really want! We had countless guests comment after the wedding how this was one of the best music selections they had heard in a while for a wedding. I would recommend Justin for a friend’s wedding!

We were happy to work with Justin and his team for our October 2024 wedding. He was prompt to respond and helped us a ton throughout the booking and planning process. We booked the magic mirror photo booth, cold spark machines, and monogram projector. Our guests loved these special added touches. On the day of our wedding we didn't have to worry about anything! His team worked hard to make everything run smooth behind the scenes and they were great with our guests. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone.

Justin was our DJ for our wedding in February of this year (2024). He is absolutely phenomenal. Wonderful customer service and replies quickly to everything. On the day of he was extremely professional and kept everyone out on the dance floor until the night ended at 11pm. Not only is he good at what he does, he is so kind and caring to all of the guests as well, even the children. It was wonderful to see. From the first impression until after the wedding day, Justin exceeded expectations. His communication made his company stand out from the start. When we were planning for our day, he was prepared and reflected back what he thought we wanted which helped us believe he was one of our strongest vendors. His performance on the wedding day was amazing! I do wish there were additional lapel microphones during our personal vows, but the quality of the music, magic mirror experience and photos, and his ability to get people on the dance floor even when the AC is too high was awesome! If you book with Justin, you will not have to worry about a thing.

Justin was THE best DJ for our October 2023 wedding!! We reached out to him pretty early on in December 2021 after a referral from a friend - and he was awesome with communication! Justin helped us with our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He has a portal where you can manage your music, timeline, and details of the entire wedding. His transitions were extremely smooth, his announcements were entertaining and timed very well, and he was just overall such a fun partner to work with! Our guests loved him! He was also a huge help when we were trying to coordinate a group sing a long during the reception. The lighting was also super cool and he just kept the dance floor going all night. I would highly recommend him for any wedding, or event that you have!

Justin was amazing to work with and very flexible! His music choices kept people on our dance floor and the Magic Mirror Photobooth was such a huge hit with our guests! If people weren't on the dance floor, they were waiting in line to use the photobooth! Planning with Justin was such a breeze too. He was excited and understanding with our desire to incorporate Korean music. His way of incorporating our different genres of music (from romantic country, romantic Indie, Korean ballads, Korean pop, 90's and early 2000's songs, etc) was impeccable! I only wished we could've danced all night and into the morning to his music!

With my husband's family being from Honduras, we gave Justin a list of popular of popular Hispanic music which he was able to flawlessly blend in throughout the night. Platinum Music was such a great part of our wedding day! We were referred to Justin by numerous people, but we still shopped around just for options. The second we spoke with Justin in our first consultation we had no doubt he was referred for a reason! We booked with him right away and are so glad. Throughout the process he helped us to pick our songs, figure out the timeline, coordinate music for the ceremony, and make sure the night was fun! The day of the wedding, he came early to set up and was there so music was playing when all guests arrived. Every part of the music from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to dinner, and dancing was so perfect. The dance floor was always busy and the music was great!! We contracted the Magic Mirror booth for our wedding last August 7th/2021. We did the red carpet package and we are so glad we did chose them, this guys actually made our wedding a night to remember , DJ we had was not really picking up the interest of our guests so we started to get a bit worried because people were not really dancing and just on time our mirror booth really lifted up the atmosphere, people were having absolute fun, Justin was so nice , respectful and professional to our guests , the red carpet package it’s the top of the line our guests really felt like movie stars walking the red carpet!! I had such a great experience working with platinum music! Cody was our DJ and he was so awesome: professional, reliable, and got the party started! I was the bride and really nervous the day of the wedding. Our wedding was also outdoors so I felt like things could be so unpredictable and I wasn’t sure how everything would go. When I stepped out to walk down the aisle, Cody played all the music I wanted, and in the perfect timing! He did not skip a beat. He was on it with getting the reception and dancing started too. Justin was phenomenal! Once the music started, the dance floor was never empty. Every song for the ceremony was perfect and all requests during the wedding were followed! Justin knows how to keep the party going and is also a great MC for the evening. We also used the Magic Mirror photobooth and have heard such great feedback! We had justin as our DJ at our wedding and he was amazing! Incredibly responsive and easy to work with even during Covid. He knew exactly when and what to ask for quickly during our wedding as things are moving fast! It was nice to have someone that knew what he was doing. The set up in each room looked great and he even set up a nice area outside where we decided to do dancing (last minute because of Covid). He played pretty much all of the songs I asked for and then some. Would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a DJ!

Justin and Jordan did an amazing job of making our wedding plans come true! Justin went out of his way to help with music and setting up Zoom, so all our friends could watch our wedding ceremony in May 2020! Jordan was great in helping us plan our wedding and reception with all the music and details to make our special day in August 2020 happen! We had Jordon for a wedding and I don’t think we could have had a more perfect DJ. I was working a wedding at the same place I got married and Jordon was a DJ for that wedding and as soon as I talked to him and what he did at the ceremony I knew he was going to be at our wedding and I’m pretty sure I booked him that following week and our wedding was a year away!! He did amazing!! Things ran so smoothly and he was such a big help leading up to the wedding. I wanted a specific song for the bridal party to walk into and he worked with it so the timing was perfect for my husband and I to walk into. I loved how he played music that fit with the crowd and he had everyone dancing! And big props for him for staying extra hour and keeping the party going!!! We had such a wonderful experience working with Justin and Jordan for our wedding! We booked them a little last minute, after having to reschedule our wedding. First, their client dashboard on their website is SO user friendly. It was so easy to add songs to our lists, and add little details for them without having to send an email every time. Jordan was our DJ and he did such an awesome job of reading the crowd on the dance floor and tailoring his playlist to what they were enjoying dancing to. It really kept the action going! He did the perfect amount of MC-ing, enough to keep things moving without interrupting the music and the flow of things. They also helped us with the sound for our ceremony and hooking up our mics to a Zoom meeting for our ceremony livestream! Thanks so much guys!

Justin did an absolutely phenomenal job for our wedding! He kept everything on track and got it off without a hitch! We forgot to play a video during our cocktail hour (our fault) and he came up with a quick solution on how we could incorporate it later in the reception. He played great music and had great lighting! He was very open and helped suggest ideas for aspects of the wedding we had not even thought about. Couldn’t recommend more!!

Zac was amazing. He went above and beyond his duties just as a DJ to help us out on our wedding day. The music was fantastic and got everyone in the mood for dancing. Couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

Justin was awesome! I highly recommend him and his company. He was very professional yet personal and made all efforts to make sure that our wedding was perfect for us. He helped things run smoothly in the midst of COVID which says a lot! His communication is excellent and I simply cannot recommend him enough!

Our DJ, Justin, was professional and brought the energy all night. We really appreciated the flexibility and patience as we all dealt with all of the COVID-19 regulations. Justin even let us pay several days after the wedding so we could enjoy the honeymoon. I'd recommend him unconditionally.

We will recommend PMP over and over again! Justin was super helpful in finding the right dj & package deal for us, also very quick responses were super convenient in the planning process. Zac was an outstanding DJ/Emcee, & Joey, our photobooth guy, was super fun & helpful with working the photo station. We couldn't have imagined a better wedding day & wouldn't have been able to say that without the help of all of these guys.

We would highly recommend Justin and his company. He kept our dance floor moving and was a great addition to our special day! He even matched his suit to our color themes! Our guests had a great time and enjoyed his music selection. We liked having the ability to add some of our favorites to the must play list. Justin was so nice and professional.

Justin is an AMAZING DJ. Seriously, our wedding reception was so much fun, largely because of Justin’s incredible abilities as a DJ. The dance floor was packed the entire night, and Justin was able to read the crowd perfectly. His online platform makes it super easy to select “do not play” songs and “definitely play” songs prior to the wedding day. We would recommend Platinum Music Productions to anyone planning an event. Justin, thank you for a great time!!!

Justin was our DJ for our ceremony and reception and he did an amazing job! He's a very good MC and kept the evening flowing like it should. We met with him 5-6 weeks before the wedding to go over ceremony song choices and he made sure to go over everyone's name and how to pronounce them for the entrance to the reception. He respected our "do not play" list and everyone commented how much they liked the music. We also rented the hashtag printer and it turned out to be a big hit with the guests. I would definitely recommend Justin/Platinum for your wedding!

I feel so lucky to have found Platinum Music! They truly went out of their way to do everything they could to make my wedding day a breeze! Justin (owner) was absolutely great to work with. He was quick to communicate and always upfront with answers and costs. And we were lucky enough to get Zac as our DJ. The first time we met him, we knew he was going to be amazing. His attention to detail and constant communication were so very much appreciated. He probably asked us a dozen times at our wedding if there was anything he could do to help out or get for us. And he brought nothing but class to announcements and dismissing tables for the buffet. We could not have asked for a better experience - and their prices are so very reasonable! If you are on the fence or just starting your search you are selling yourself short if you don't out to Platinum Music/Justin. I HIGHLY recommend them!!! (Married 9/14/19)
