o add songs to our lists, and add little details for them without having to send an email every time. Jordan was our DJ and he did such an awesome job of reading the crowd on the dance floor and tailoring his playlist to what they were enjoying dancing to. It really kept the action going! He did the perfect amount of MC-ing, enough to keep things moving without interrupting the music and the flow of things. They also helped us with the sound for our ceremony and hooking up our mics to a Zoom meeting for our ceremony livestream! Thanks so much guys!

His attention to detail and constant communication were so very much appreciated. He probably asked us a dozen times at our wedding if there was anything he could do to help out or get for us. I cannot remember the last time I was at a wedding and liked every song that was played. Justin did a great job creating the wedding music we wanted especially finding something in the middle of a country loving bride and hard rock loving groom.

This wasn’t followed, so all of the guests couldn’t put their photos in the album with a caption for us to look at, and laugh at, after the wedding was over. Justin kindly printed an entire set of the photos for us so we could have a chance to view them all. We highly recommend the Magic Mirror at your next event! Justin was fantastic!

astes by acquiring a super-niche song for me to walk down the aisle to. In fact, Platinum Music accommodated us with a lot of unique songs, which my husband and I really appreciated. He and Justin, the company owner, collaborated to make sure the entire wedding was set to a great soundtrack and to give us plenty of silly and personal musical moments throughout the night (bridal party entrances, first dances, garter and bouquet toss etc.). Platinum Music's online portal was decently clear and easy to use and already had a great music selection (which we mostly ignored for the special events because we're weird nerds). Working with them was an easy and comfortable experience; they knew what they were doing and had plans and best-practices for a lot of typical reception events. The lighting was good too; I'd recommend looking into their gobo projector services. We had our wedding monogram projected on the dance floor and the family little ones loved it! Thanks Jordan and Justin!

reception. He was very good with me and my bridesmaids very specific music requests at the end and was more than happy to accommodate all of our needs. I even had some last minute (day of) changes that I made that went very well! Also, we rented the Magic mirror from them (a photo booth) which was a hit with everyone, young and old. Brian did an awesome job manning this station and made the magic mirror experience so fun and enjoyable for everyone. He was definitely a big help when it came to the "how to's" of the mirror! Would definitely recommend both Justin, the DJ and Brian! They were amazing all night!!!

we were hesitant with booking. Justin is none of these things...he is extremely down to earth, very easy to work with, and has a quiet confidence about him. He managed to keep everything tasteful and classy but without it feeling uptight. He kept us in the loop throughout the night without being pushy and kept the timeline on schedule. We didn't have a packed dance floor because guests spread out throughout the indoor/outdoor venue, but Justin positioned speakers so that everyone could still hear the music which was great. All in all, we were very happy with our decision to hire Justin; he did a great job.

Most people thought Brian was another guest until he helped them with the mirror. started providing value and helping us even before we hired him. We were planning an out of state DIY wedding, and Justin was able to guide us and bring up details that we hadn’t considered. He made suggestions based on his experience. It was clear from our first meeting that he was knowledgable and always ready to help.  Justin was not available for the wedding but he set us up with his sidekick DJ - Jordan. We got a chance to meet Jordan via Skype and we felt comfortable that he would be able to take care of our music needs. Together, Justin and Jordan make a great team. Even though the majority of our pre-wedding discussions were with Justin, Jordan was kept in the loop and executed as we expected on the day of the wedding. I was also impressed by Justin’s organizational skills and his ability to follow up on details that we had discussed in previous meetings from months back.  On the day of the wedding, the execution was on point. Jordan arrived on time, set up all of the equipment, and had time to review the plan for the ceremony with us before people arrived. He also served as our master of ceremony and kept the schedule moving, even as we made last minute changes during the cocktail hour and reception. As far as music, we provided a list of requests but made it clear that we were relying on him and his expertise to keep the dance floor busy. Jordan included songs that were requested and made his own judgement calls as he saw the dynamics of the dance floor change. We appreciate his hard work and guidance on the day of the wedding.

We've since had many guests tell us this was the best wedding they'd ever attended and I know that having an awesome DJ played a huge role in that. Platinum Music also offers a Magic Mirror photo booth that we opted to use during our reception. This was AWESOME! We'd never seen something like it before and all of our guests had so much fun with this. Our Photo Booth attendant, Brian, was also GREAT! He did such a fantastic job assisting everyone in using the photo booth. All in all this is an amazing entertainment company. We are SO happy we hired Platinum Music Productions for our wedding!

wedding coordinator and one of the servers each said they had never seen the dance floor as packed as our wedding was. I think the DJ is definitely the facilitator of that. Unfortunately, due to work schedules and wedding planning, we were unable to meet with Justin face-to-face before; we only did a FaceTime meeting. He still managed to know exactly how we would want the day to go. This was exemplified by the only question he asked us the entire day. When we met with him on FaceTime, we asked to have our song entering the reception to be Locash, Ring on Every Finger. When we arrived, he rushed out to ask us if we wanted the song to start at the beginning or on the chorus. We didn't think about that detail and how we would be at our seats before it hit the chorus. He recognized this and had a cut version ready to go. It's funny the little things that relax you. That question made me realize we were in good hands and the reception would be a hit. You also don't realize until you get married that the photographer runs the day until the reception when they hand it over to the DJ. Justin got us back on schedule and kept it fun for the guests. We were lucky to be in such good hands. We also used Platinum Music for the photo-booth. The Magic Mirror was a huge hit with our guests. It's so unique and fun that everyone loved it. We knew it was successful when we saw all our grandparents having a blast in the photos. I was impressed with the photo album provided as well. Very sturdy and customized to match the theme of the wedding. Highly recommend! Platinum was probably our favorite wedding vendor.

He had so many ideas and suggestions for not only the reception, but also the ceremony, for which we also used his services. Our venue was out of town and indoor/outdoor so additional equipment and speakers were needed, which he predicted. The set up was perfect! We got so many compliments on the music and he kept everybody dancing, from our friends to our parents, until the end. hat karaoke may interrupt the flow of the reception, though, so we asked a few of our singer-friends to lend their voices to our special dances. We choose Platinum Music Productions over other Columbus DJs because of their rate. Their “STANDARD DEFINITION” package INCLUDES wireless mics for the toasts and dance floor lighting. (These are considered add-ons or upsells at other DJ companies.) This package was also the perfect volume and loudness for our reception in the Lincoln Theatre ballroom. Justin was our DJ and emcee, and he brought EXPERIENCE and PROFESSIONALISM to our wedding reception. He wore a suit and was early to set up his equipment. We were 100% confident in his emcee skills and his ability to guide our reception through its timeline. Music was a big theme for our wedding, and it was fun working with Justin to pull that theme into our reception. Our dance floor was full for the entire evening! Our guests commented on Justin’s selection of music and his ability to keep the energy high throughout the reception. We told him the demographic of our guests, and he had the right tunes to keep them on their feet. Everyone is still talking about how much fun they had! Each time I thought to myself "oh we need to get a mic for that person" or "we need to queue up that song", I'd walk up to Justin and he had already taken care of it. The tunes were also BUMPING! We wanted to give Justin a bit of freedom on what songs to play, rather than scripting every song for every minute of the night. He pulled a few classics out of his hat that we hadn't thought of, which was awesome. I will definitely be recommending Justin to any friends I have getting married in Central Ohio - they'd be missing out by hiring any other DJ.

The venue I got married in was a little tricky to navigate, however Justin and Jordan went down before hand to tour the place so Jordan would know how to get around. I have had so many people tell me what a great party we had. They dance floor was full until the very end!

t for the most part I just wanted a fun atmosphere with great music and that's exactly what he gave us. We were planning our wedding from a different state so we weren't able to meet before hand but that wasn't a problem. We talked over the phone/email and everything worked out perfectly and was exactly what we wanted. He was a able to make the night perfect from the start of the ceremony to the end of the reception. He was always making sure we were comfortable and happy. We got so many compliments on the music and had so many comments on how much dancing there was/how fun the night was. We also rcieved multiple comments on Kamal as a person in general and how nice he was! I would definitely recommend Kamal to anyone looking for a DJ and I would definitely use him again.
