Danielle and her staff go above and beyond to accommodate you and make your day as special and unique as you want it to be. They were so helpful throughout the entire process, and were always quick to respond to emails or calls. Day-of, it felt like we were working with a well-oiled event production team and they were always one step ahead of us, ensuring the day went seamlessly and without a hitch. They are also so warm and friendly, and were such a pleasant part of our entire wedding experience. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, and really doesn't require much additional decor from what they have on-site, but you are able to set up days ahead of time if you have more you want to bring in! It was also really great to not have to worry about breaking everything down the night of our wedding, and coming back the day after at our leisure. Their partner caterer, Full Moon Resort, was also great to work with and we had some guests tell us it was the best food they've ever had at the wedding. They were so accommodating with allergies and dietary restrictions, and still made everything taste amazing. The view is what definitely first sold us on the venue, but we got so much more than we asked for in having our wedding at Plattekill. Danielle, Autumn, Shannon, Bob, and every single person we interacted with went above and beyond in ways we couldn’t have imagined. This venue is gorgeous, but it’s the staff that truly makes it shine. They are so well-polished, so professional, and yet so warm and caring at the same time. It’s clear that they’re not just in the wedding business—they’re creating memories and crafting perfect experiences with love and intention. From day one, they made us feel like our wedding was just as important to them as it was to us. Every little detail was handled with such care, and every suggestion they gave us made our day that much more magical. There is something undeniably special happening at Plattekill Mountain, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have had our wedding there. Our friends and family are still telling us it was the best wedding they've ever been to, and we agree—it was the best weekend of our lives. If you're browsing venues and Plattekill has caught your eye, stop looking. This is the strongest recommendation I will ever give. Not only will you have no regrets, but it will be the most beautiful, joyful, and unforgettable day of your life. We will be forever grateful for the memories we made at Plattekill Mountain and can’t wait to return to relive the magic for years to come.

ould get a view of the ceremony space when we visited in December. They worked with us from across the country (California couple) to arrange the catering, the rehearsal dinner and all of the decor logistics. The week of, they were communicative and always available to help with the last minute logistics. We had an absolutely perfect rehearsal dinner and wedding day which went off without a hitch thanks to them. Additional shout out to Full Moon Catering, their preferred vendor, for having a wonderful staff which made sure the Bride and Groom were well fed throughout the night and for the amazing cocktail hour and buffet.

did an amazing job accommodating our 50-person wedding. Everybody was delightful to work with, the view from the top of the mountain was spectacular, and Full Moon Catering was great about the food restrictions we needed to accommodate.
