This is such an adorable venue everything was picture perfect for our homeschool prom!! The owners are very easy to work with and everybody was blown away with the beauty of the property!
What a hidden gem! I cannot express how grateful I am to have found Becky and her phenomenal venue. I was so overwhelmed planning my wedding, but once I found Becky, it was smooth sailing. We had looked at other venues and were put off by all the restrictions and limitations, but not with Becky. She genuinely listened to our vision and was more than willing to accommodate us in whatever way possible to make our day as special as possible. Our wedding day was spectacular! Becky and my wedding planner made sure everything went off without a hitch and it was STUNNING. I could not believe how absolutely perfect everything was and how warm and welcoming Becky’s team was the entire time! This is a family run venue and they truly love what they do, and it shows! They are some of the most amazing, genuine people and their property is beyond gorgeous! Everyone kept telling us that no matter what, something would go wrong on our wedding day, but to just let it go and roll with it. I was prepared, but honestly thanks to Becky and our amazing team of vendors that moment never happened. Everything was beyond what we ever could have imagined, and we are so incredibly thankful. Thank you for everything Becky! We love you guys!
Pleasant Union Farm was my wedding Venue and I can’t praise their venue enough! Becky is the venue owner and she was a breath of fresh air to work with! If you’re looking for a farm setting venue with amazing views and a blueberry farm for the perfect pictures then you have to book with Pleasant Union. The prices are unbeatable for what you get! Pleasant Union Farm offers their in house vendors who are absolutely amazing. Becky and her team brought my vision to life and I will always be grateful! As a Covid Bride Becky kept up with all of her brides and kept us calm during these uncertain times. She offered everyone different dates and went above and beyond to help ease our worries They do not do this for the money, this is their passion. Don’t hesitate, book a tour and everything else will fall into place. You won’t be disappointed!
Charming, Secluded, Picturesque - Lovely Venue!
We had my son's wedding at this venue on October 5, 2019 (I see another review for the same day, but that must be a misprint) and it was truly lovely! Becky Kimmons, the owner, and her husband Cale are truly nice people and easy to work with. Becky was extremely patient, understanding, and very responsive. When you first drive up to this venue, you don't see the all of it's beauty yet - but when you walk up, step onto the covered patio area, look around and take it all in, you see the blueberry field in the background and lovely grounds and it made for fantastic pictures and a lovely, quiet ceremony - no car noise, no traffic, just quiet and peaceful, nature all around. Some of my family members recently attended a wedding close by (that venue has a fountain) of about the same size (we had about 110); they said in comparison, Pleasant Union Farm had much more charm and character. The new addition of the Bridal and Groom's Suites made it so comfortable on wedding day and worked out perfectly. The flow of the guests from the ceremony on the lawn, to the patio during cocktail hour, and then to the inside space during the dining, and then back out to the patio for a night of dancing was all just perfect. Some even enjoyed s'mores by the fire. Our sparkler send-off on the sidewalk was the perfect end to the evening! The food was good, the cake was delicious (Cake Lady Lynne), our coordinator and florist, Blair with Winey Blonde Event Co, did a lovely job also with coordination and the flowers - we couldn't have done it without her! While the DJ Bryan as not perfect, (he forgot to microphone the groom for saying their own vows) he did a good job otherwise and this is no reflection on the venue itself. Becky recommended our photographer, and she was totally excellent - Ashley Martinez with AL Images! Our guests seemed to have a very good time - several came up to me and mentioned it was the best wedding they've ever been to! We purchased Blueberry Goat's Milk Soap made at the farm and it was a huge hit as party favors for our female guests, I so love it - wish I had more! I saw all the little details and a few issues, no wedding is perfect, but in the end, we are so happy we chose this venue. We also had our rehearsal dinner here, which was about half of the guest list since so many came from out of town. That also worked out perfectly and the guests enjoyed knowing where the venue was and it had a totally different feel and set up than on wedding day. Thanks to Becky for an excellent experience; I would highly recommend Pleasant Union Farm!
I chose Pleasant Union Farm in December for my March wedding. That means I had 4 months to plan a wedding! Becky was so helpful every step of the way. She made the planning process so much easier - choosing the caterer, florist, DJ, and wedding coordinator. The package included everything except the officiant and photographer - which are very personal choices IMO, so that makes sense. She had preferred vendors for each and I chose from her list. I genuinely loved every vendor I worked with - except the DJ. Which I provided feedback to Becky on and she was very responsive. Outside of the ease of planning, the venue is BEAUTIFUL!!! The valley in the backdrop is gorgeous! They also have a fire pit available (hello s'mores bar!), and they just added on a huge covered deck. I had 80 guests and there was plenty of space for everyone - no one was ever crowded. On the day of the wedding, Becky, Cale, and Ivy (the coordinator) were present and available, in case I ever needed anything. A month later, when anyone talks about the wedding they mention how beautiful it was and just how perfect the venue was. I highly recommend Pleasant Union Farm for you wedding - especially if you want a planning process that is relatively easy.
We got married at Pleasant Union in October. We loved it! The venue is beautiful, the vendors they recommend are great, and everyone at Pleasant Union is so nice and helpful! We had support all through planning, and our wedding had so many beautiful and local touches from the farm. Our menu used blueberries and eggs from the farm, our favors were wonderful handmade soaps using goats milk from the farm. We were so very glad we chose PU and would recommend it to anyone!
My husband and I had our reception at Pleasant Union Farm in June and we could not have been happier. The scenery and beauty speaks for itself. Becky, the owner, was great to work with and made things easy for us when planning. I highly recommend Pleasant Union Farm to any couple looking for a venue.
I just got married at Pleasant Union Farms in April. Everything about the venue, the vendors, and the owner made wedding planning and my wedding a dream come true. The owner, Becky is so helpful and helped make my wedding stress free. The venue is truly gorgeous and an amazing place to get married. I would absolutely recommend Pleasant Union Farms.
Pleasant Union Farm is such a beautiful and accommodating venue, Just got married here in October! After a long venue search and getting overwhelmed with other venues hidden costs and packages and demands we were so happy to find Pleasant Union Farm, from the start Becky was and is so sweet and so helpful, They are a small sweet family farm and they treat you like you are apart of their family and want nothing but the best for their couples, their wedding packages are amazing and fair and come with great vendors who do a beautiful job! Our wedding day ended up being the rainiest and coldest day of the month and they all made sure it was still perfect and beautiful, even having the ceremony inside the barn was still incredibly beautiful and cozy, it looks amazing with all the barn doors open and the twinkling lights above!
We had my daughters wedding at Pleasant Union Farm in October. It is a beautiful boutique wedding venue with the Georgia mountains in the background. Becky was extremely helpful to us to make sure that everything was exactly the way we wanted it for the special day. I would highly recommend this venue!
Pleasant Union Farm was perfect for my daughter and son-in-law’s 10th anniversary and renewal of vows. Thank you for making this the special day they didn’t have 10 years ago. Since the couple lives out of town, we were looking for a venue and planning team that was flexible and willing to work on details with minimal direction. The first day I met Natalie I knew we found the person for the job. She is awesome!! My daughter’s dreams came alive by sharing text messages, photos and FaceTime Meetings. Kudos to Freckled and Blue catering and My Cake Lady Lynne for the delicious food, cake and peach cobbler. Flowers arrangements made by Natalie using blooms from the farm were just as my daughter envisioned.
I would definitely recommend this venue.
Pleasant Union Farm is a wonderful place for a wedding! The venue is gorgeous! I was just happily married there in October. Becky is very easy to get along with and more than accommodating to any situation! I would very highly recommend Pleasant Union Farm!!
Pleasant Union is THE place to get married. They work with you unlike any venue that I've ever experienced. We toured many different venues when we were deciding on the place we would say "I do" and we knew instantly this was the place. We were not disappointed and throughout the entire planning process it just became more and more apparent that we had made the right decision. Our wedding day was absolute perfection and the pictures turned out SO beautiful! We couldn't be happier with how our big day turned out thanks to Pleasant Union and all they offer!
This place is so amazing and the owners will do everything they can to make your day as special as possible!! The pricing is great and the venue is so beautiful!! I'm so thankful I had my wedding here. The owners are also great about answering any questions you have and never feel bothered about it!
