Working with a professional means we are here to take the guesswork out of the invitation process, helping with proper etiquette and wording, making your paper and printing choices clear, using our vendor network to source the highest quality materials, and of course, communicating with you through the entire process. We handle everything from design and print to white glove assembly, giving you peace of mind and the ability to sit back and enjoy your engagement season.

Angela of Plume & Proper is absolutely incredible! We are so grateful to have had such a thoughtful and kind wedding stationer and calligrapher. Our day and experience would NOT ...
have been the same without her and she truly exceeded all of our wildest custom stationery and calligraphy dreams…from our wedding invitation suite to our programs and BEYOND. Each item was truly a piece of art. It is hard to put into words the impact that Angela’s creative expertise, her GORGEOUS work, and the experience working with her had on our wedding. From the moment our guests received their invitations in the mail to the moment they left our reception, Angela made sure that everything connected seamlessly and beautifully. Every step of the process with Angela was really fun. I was very overwhelmed by the idea of describing what my husband and I were looking for, but Angela created such a smooth process that eased my worries. She really focuses on getting to know you as a couple to start and draws inspiration from your love story, interests, style, and more! Seeing everything come to life during the proofing and designing portion of the process made our jaws drop!!! We loved the online platform that she used for us to review and provide feedback on everything from proofs to final designs - it is so fun to see everything and watch her videos she creates explaining every detail of the designs through each version/update. We were completely blown away. Her attention to detail, warm personality, and collaborative spirit are absolutely exceptional!
Angela of Plume & Proper is beyond talented! Her work caught my eye on Instagram when various vendors of mine were sharing her work. I initially reached out to have her custom desi...
gn a seating chart and at the time of our consultation, I was 7 months pregnant.
Once I found out that she also assembles, stuffs, stamps, and addresses the invitation suite I was SOLD. I did not see myself doing any of this after just having a baby. It was a no brainer and worth having more time with my newborn.
The proofing & design process was also SO MUCH FUN! The online platform that she uses to hav you review and provide feedback on sketches, proofs, and final designs is so easy and seamless. She explains everything in a recorded session each time to help guide you through the process. Which honestly, I preferred over a Zoom or Webex call.
Angela also listened carefully to my ideas and reservations and truly delivered a one of kind custom invitation suite. They turned absolutely beautiful for a fall wedding in Michigan. In addition to my invitation suite, she also custom designed an acrylic seating chart for 266 guests . It was a show stopper! Thank you Angela for EVERYTHING! You made wedding planning so much easier for me.

She really listened to our vision for our wedding and worked with us to bring it to life! And I can tell you that the day of our wedding, I was in awe of her work! Angela is SO talented, kind, and just a beautiful person all-around! We are so thankful for her and all that she did for us. I truly cannot recommend her highly enough! Her work is just STUNNING!

dressed our invitations, created our amazing liners and also made our day of signage! Not only is she extremely talented (I could watch her calligraphy videos all day), but she is the sweetest human and amazing to work with! She made everything so seamless, even in this crazy time! She also worked with us when we were crunched for time. By far one of my favorite parts of wedding planning.
The second I saw Plume & Proper’s calligraphy, I knew Angela was the perfect designer & calligrapher to execute custom “Just Married” banners exclusive for my wedding clients. I ha...
d a vision of what I wanted in my head and Angela patiently worked alongside me to bring this classic, chic, one-of-a-kind piece to life. From understanding my vision, taking precise measurements, finding the perfect material, to creating and hand painting the most luxurious script, Angela made the creative process fun and easy. She overdelivered two rare hand painted calligraphy pieces that are not only deeply loved by me, but my clients as well time and time again. Plume & Proper is my go to artist for all of my custom calligraphy! Now if only I can find an excuse for her to design luxury invitations for me!
If I could give Angela 10 stars, I would. Not only is she the most beautiful human inside and out, her work is absolutely stunning. She designed several pieces of our stationery an...
d even drew us a map as part of it - which was VERY well received by guests, because about 65% came from out of town! I asked her if she could draw one up, she said she'd never done one before but she executed it BEAUTIFULLY! Everything she does is done beyond what I could have ever imagined for the biggest day of my life and I would recommend her ten times over. She is reasonably priced, a fantastic communicator and so passionate about what she does, which, to me, it does not get better than that! :)
Angela created table number/guest books for our wedding and they were absolutely perfect! I came to her with sort of an unusual request and she worked with me while providing great...
suggestions for bringing it to life and we couldn't be happier with the result! Not to mention, in a frazzled last minute request I had to see if she could add a sign for the reception as well, she was so helpful and made it happen. I truly thought I was (and probably was) being ridiculous with the request, but she still made it happen for us and it turned out beautifully. Angela was so accommodating and easy to work with throughout our time working together that I hope I have reasons to work with her again, she is the best!
I had such a great experience working with Angela. I found Plume and Proper a little late in my wedding planning, otherwise I would’ve wanted her calligraphy on EVERYTHING other th...

Angela is a delight to work with. Not only does she produce beautiful pieces of art, she is a GREAT human being. She's happy to provide quotes to a variety of wedding-related items...
and works efficiently to get you what you need in a timely manner. For our wedding gift to our guests, we had Angela write a gold "M" on hundreds of ornaments. Her penmanship is so good it looked like a machine did it. How does one write on a curved surface so neatly!? Amazing and beautiful. We've also had her make other custom pieces including baby shower gifts written on canvas and Scripture verses on paper that we later framed. Thank you Ang, you're the best!
Let me tell you something! Angela was the SWEETEST vendor that we booked for our wedding!!! From the beginning when we first met up at a cafe going over our expectation to the mome...
nt we pick up all of the signs and to months after the wedding, she still shows how sweet she is!!! We went a little extra with our ideas but she nailed it perfectly :) Her works really was a big part of our wedding decoration and I am so glad she was our Calligrapher. If I could ever plan my wedding over again she is still my number 1 calligrapher to work with. It sucks that she moved to Michigan , :( otherwise she would be my go to person for my anniversaries/ baby shower 's decoration later.
Angela really is beyond talented! The signage she made for our big day was absolutely perfect... I still cannot get over how beautiful her copper calligraphy was on slate board. We...
