***CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY & EXTENDED LEAVE*** Plume & Proper is a boutique design studio specializing in refined wedding paper goods and handwritten calligraphy that captures the essence of who you are and the love you're celebrating. We believe your wedding begins the moment your guests first learn of it, making show-stopping invitations all the more necessary. We work one-on-one with you to create highly personalized invitations that are exclusive to your event, featuring custom illustrations, modern calligraphy and other design elements, all tailored especially to your love story. Working with a professional means we are here to take the guesswork out of the invitation process, helping with proper etiquette and wording, making your paper and printing choices clear, using our vendor network to source the highest quality materials, and of course, communicating with you through the entire process. We handle everything from design and print to white glove assembly, giving you peace of mind and the ability to sit back and enjoy your engagement season. Our custom design services also include handwritten signage, printed day-of stationery, and finishing touches of calligraphy. Examples of these services include welcome signs, seating charts, signature cocktail menus, printed programs, table numbers, place cards, remembrance signs, and more. We are highly experienced in writing on alternative surfaces such as acrylic, mirrors, leather, fabric, even cakes! We reserve Day-of signage and calligraphy services for our custom invitation clients in order to provide the most custom experience possible. wildest custom stationery and calligraphy dreams…from our wedding invitation suite to our programs and BEYOND. Each item was truly a piece of art. It is hard to put into words the impact that Angela’s creative expertise, her GORGEOUS work, and the experience working with her had on our wedding. From the moment our guests received their invitations in the mail to the moment they left our reception, Angela made sure that everything connected seamlessly and beautifully. Every step of the process with Angela was really fun. I was very overwhelmed by the idea of describing what my husband and I were looking for, but Angela created such a smooth process that eased my worries. She really focuses on getting to know you as a couple to start and draws inspiration from your love story, interests, style, and more! Seeing everything come to life during the proofing and designing portion of the process made our jaws drop!!! We loved the online platform that she used for us to review and provide feedback on everything from proofs to final designs - it is so fun to see everything and watch her videos she creates explaining every detail of the designs through each version/update. We were completely blown away. Her attention to detail, warm personality, and collaborative spirit are absolutely exceptional!

months pregnant. Once I found out that she also assembles, stuffs, stamps, and addresses the invitation suite I was SOLD. I did not see myself doing any of this after just having a baby. It was a no brainer and worth having more time with my newborn. The proofing & design process was also SO MUCH FUN! The online platform that she uses to hav you review and provide feedback on sketches, proofs, and final designs is so easy and seamless. She explains everything in a recorded session each time to help guide you through the process. Which honestly, I preferred over a Zoom or Webex call. Angela also listened carefully to my ideas and reservations and truly delivered a one of kind custom invitation suite. They turned absolutely beautiful for a fall wedding in Michigan. In addition to my invitation suite, she also custom designed an acrylic seating chart for 266 guests . It was a show stopper! Thank you Angela for EVERYTHING! You made wedding planning so much easier for me.

with the result! Not to mention, in a frazzled last minute request I had to see if she could add a sign for the reception as well, she was so helpful and made it happen. I truly thought I was (and probably was) being ridiculous with the request, but she still made it happen for us and it turned out beautifully. er. For our wedding gift to our guests, we had Angela write a gold "M" on hundreds of ornaments. Her penmanship is so good it looked like a machine did it. How does one write on a curved surface so neatly!? Amazing and beautiful.
