The best decision we made, right after choosing to marry my husband, was asking DJ Petro to be a part of our wedding day! He was the most brilliant, talented, and genuine vendor th...
at we worked with. EVERY guest complimented how incredible DJ Petro was and how much fun they had on our dance floor. Thanks to DJ Petro I got to surprise my guests with a flawlessly done voice over before I walked down the aisle, dance to John Summit with my grandpa on our bangin' dance floor, and have a first dance to a mix of songs that he mixed. He has top of the line equipment, clip on mic for the officiate (as every officiate should have), he monitors mic volumes and adjusts live, he curated every music moment so intentionally (he went through our playlists to include songs we love in addition to our must play songs), and his lighting was SO fun. The uplighting matched the beat of the music and was an incredible addition to our dance floor. He mixed off the cuff for our dance floor and dropped an absolutely monumental mix of Untouched in to I Write Sins not Tradegies in to Ready for it in to I'm a Believer- mean come ON. He is so talented and cared so much about us as a couple, you need him at your wedding!!
If you read nothing else, read this: DJ Petro is THE BEST dj you could ever want for your wedding!
From start to finish, Matt (DJ Petro), makes it feel seamless. He’s not overbear...
ing in finding out every song you’ve ever liked, he simply asks you for a few things and some playlists you already listen to and he does the research to what you like and what you care about.
Then the ceremony happens and the music is perfect. It’s heard when it should be heard and its background noise when jt should be. The mics are perfect volume and transition to people whenever necessary. The timing is perfect, it makes the moment flawless.
So then the cocktail hour happens and it’s perfect chatting music, and it’s of course perfect.
Then reception occurs and it’s perfect. Speeches are perfect volume, music is perfect temp and vibe, and the dance floor is set up perfectly.
And then the main thing happens… the dancing. And holy.fucking,shit. It’s the best dance floor you’ve ever seen. He’s mixing great songs with great songs, songs that have never been mixed he’s doing it live. It’s electric.
Truly, he is not only the best dj I’ve, obviously, ever had, but he’s the best dj I’ve ever seen. Truly he makes the day that much more relaxing knowing you don’t have to worry about all those details.
I honestly received so many compliments regarding the dance floor and music, and I couldn’t recommend DJ Petro more if I tried!
DJ Petro was simply the best. Planned a long distance wedding and he made everything easy.

rue. A true professional.
I'm not sure how I can briefly sum up all of my thoughts about Matt (DJ Petro) but I can say with 100%
certainty that he is the biggest reason that our wedding was the best day of...
our lives. I could tell right from our first conversation that he has an incredible passion for what he does, and that he truly cared about our vision and personalizing our celebration to us and our vibe. Admittedly, we threw a lot of unique and oddball requests and questions at him, and he listened to them all, helping us with every single one of them. Everything at the wedding was picture perfect. During the ceremony, he nailed all the music cues that we wanted at the exact right time, and the microphones sounded amazing (our officiant told us afterwards that it was the best sound she had ever heard at a ceremony). His cocktail hour mix was a great representation of all the different artists we like and set the exact vibe we were looking for. He even threw in some
gems that I wasn't expecting but were AMAZING, and showed me he really did care about our music tastes and crafting something special for us, instead of just putting on a generic background playlist. During dinner, everything was once again excellent - his music selection, MCing, the introductions hype, the microphone volume during speeches, it was all so smooth. Then the dancing was completely next level. All we dreamed of was a high energy dance set with all of our family and friends, and he CRUSHED IT! The way he mixes everything, his transitions, the way he matches his lights with the music...it was beyond our wildest expectations. It's been months since our wedding, and I am STILL getting messages from guests telling me that our DJ was the best they've ever seen. One of our friends in the wedding party has already hired him for her wedding next year. That says it all right there. Matt is a total professional, exudes incredible vibes, and is the absolute best at what he does. I hope you are lucky to get Matt like we were, we are forever grateful for the memories we will always have!
Matt is the best! He DJ’d and emcee’d our wedding this March. He’s professional, detail oriented, responsive, knowledgeable, has great gear and is a stellar emcee. . We had 180 gue...
sts and 15 in the wedding party and he didn’t miss a beat. Our one big ask was to have the dance floor full as soon as dinner ended and he knocked it out of the park.
Hiring Matt to DJ our wedding was one of the best decisions we made throughout the planning process. To echo other reviews on here, he really makes you feel "seen" with music choic...
es and reading the room. He is so much fun to work with, kept the dance floor on fire all night, and checked in with us throughout the night to ensure everything was going well (spoiler alert, everything was perfect). I want to have another wedding just to hire Matt again!
We freaking love this guy. Matt was so awesome to work with and made the wedding planning process fun (how is that possible?? What is this wizardry?). From the jump, he picked up o...
n the vibe we incoherently laid down and absolutely killed it day-of. He is a genius at reading the room and had us and our guests on the dance floor the whole night. He even skillfully wove in a song our officiant casually mentioned during our ceremony (…it was Baby Got Back) which made us feel so seen. Matt is the GOAT. 10/10 soliciting his services for our second marriages. We love you Matt!
We hired DJ Petro for our wedding in September 2025, and could not speak higher of the entire experience. Matt's care into the musical choices truly catered to our collective taste...
s. Everything flowed seamlessly from the ceremony music to the cocktail hour and toasts. But it was the dance set that truly blew us away. Matt had the room immediately and kept us dancing until the lights turned on. We're so grateful he was a part of our special day! Super chill guy that completely understands the assignment and nails it front to back.
DJ Petro was amazing! He was not only incredibly easy to work with, but was also so talented. We didn’t leave the dance floor the entire night from the beginning of opening up the ...
dance floor to last call. It was truly the most fun and amazing night filled with all of our favorite music and genres. DJ Petro was able to accommodate our needs at any moment in the night and did it seamlessly! We couldn’t have had more fun or be more thankful to have had him at our wedding!

dations and tailored the set list to our taste while accommodating unique events that happened during our wedding like a mamma mia flash mob. We also had a fair amount of Latin music on our song requests and he did great with that genre. He also was great about keeping a good flow to the day and ensuring everything went smoothly. Can't recommend him enough if you want to have a great party and a nonstop fun time on the dance floor.
My husband and I used DJ Petro for our wedding in October, and were incredibly happy with our experience. I had attended another wedding that he had DJ'd and I was very impressed, ...
so decided to hire him for our wedding. DJ Petro was very helpful and communicative through the entire planning process. He did a great job with learning what it was that we were looking for, and also offered very helpful suggestions based on his experience. DJ Petro also did a great job with understanding the schedule of the day and did an excellent job transitioning the event throughout the night. All of our wedding guests were out on the dance floor the entire night, and there was never a dull moment. We highly recommend DJ Petro!!!
DJ Matt Petro is one of the best! He kept our dance floor packed from start to finish. We refer to him as the “family DJ” since he’s done multiple weddings for our family. He is...
a true professional and at the same time makes you feel like you have been friends forever. He makes the process effortless and fun. He can read the room and play music to keep the party going all night long. His mashups, transitions, and more are unlike any other! Book him now! You won’t regret it! We love you Matt!!!

music taste. He 100% got our vibe and I heard songs at our cocktail hour that I couldn't believe I didn't specifically request myself. He was so fun, flexible, and really pumped up the crowd and kept the party going all night!! We really felt like he was genuinely excited for our wedding which was really infectious. So many of our guests said that he was the best DJ they ever heard at a wedding!!

elped make our wedding perfect. He was able to work with our officiant and other vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly. From a small list of songs we wanted to be played, DJ Petro got the exact mood that we wanted. He brought extremely cool lighting with him that worked with the music and it immediately transformed our wedding to get the dance floor started. His experience made the reception so much fun. Our guests were commenting on how this is the best DJ they've ever heard at a wedding, and we agree. Last but definitely not least, DJ Petro's energy and excitement for us and our wedding showed how much he enjoys doing what he does.
DJ Petro was the easiest vendor we worked with throughout our planning process, and completely set the tone for our wedding. He understood exactly the type of music we wanted and t...
he dance floor was packed all reception, from grandparents to 20-something’s. I’m recommending Matt to all of my friends!

you’re looking for. He has a wedding planner that you can use which made it super easy to organize all the different music for the different parts of the ceremony and reception. He masterfully blended in suggested songs with top 40 and wedding staples, and the crowd loved it. He even helped edit a few songs for us for a Bollywood dance routine, which was above and beyond! We felt like anything we suggested he was totally helpful with and game for. We highly recommend DJ Petro for your wedding! He made it super easy and we didn’t have to worry about a thing!
Matt (DJ Petro) was such an amazing DJ for our wedding. While we knew he would be great based on attending previous events he'd DJed - he was outstanding. The dance floor wasn't ...
big enough for all of our guests!!! We couldn't be more grateful for his hard work. Matt was able to provide sound for our ceremony despite electrical obstacles and worked with my brother to amplify his acoustic guitar while I walked down the aisle. Everything was perfect. What made the biggest impression on us was that he felt like a part of the family and we are so glad he was a part of the celebration.
We might be biased, but DJ Petro is the best wedding DJ there is. He was so helpful during the planning process and even edited a Bob Carlisle song for us at my request. Our weddin...
g day did not go anywhere close to the original plan (maybe because of Bob Carlisle, we'll never know), but he handled all of the curveballs amazingly well. We had a really specific vibe in mind for our wedding music, and he absolutely nailed it. Half of our guests were not big dancers, and he was able to walk the fine line of keeping the dancers and non-dancers happy. We had several of our guests compliment us on how great our DJ was. Thanks so much, Matt!
A few years ago, Mike was the DJ at my best friend's wedding (I had the honor of being the Best Man and got to interact with him more closely) — the dance floor didn't stop all nig...
ht, and my friend actually turned to Mike to DJ a few gala events/fundraisers for his work.
When it came to planning my wedding this year, he was the first I reached out to, and me and my wife are so glad we did. He's extremely responsive, was encouraging of us giving him a list of songs and artists and he skillfully wove those into the flow of the night — knowing what was great for cocktail hour, reception, early dance floor, and late night. We got so many compliments the night of and afterwards about our DJ — and we're both picky when it comes to music and dancing — even my wife's Zumba friends approved.
We also used Mike for the uplighting which was a much better quote than the tent company. I really couldn't recommend someone more.
Michael is the best!! So sweet and so easy to work with. And HE LISTENED TO ME, played exactly what we had talked about. Our dance floor was full the whole night!! People are still...
talking about the music!
Plus One Productions was fantastic! DJ Petro is by far the best wedding DJ I know! The playlist was fantastic and the uplighting was a fantastic recommendation. We'd highly recomme...

Mike was the DJ for my sister's wedding a few years ago and we loved him so much we hired him for our wedding last month. He was absolutely amazing!! You can tell he loves what he ...
does. He is so fun, easy-going and easy to work with. He played all the songs we requested (from funk to hip-hop to EDM and slow songs) and none of the ones we didn't want. He knew exactly what to play to keep us and our guests on the dance floor all night long! It was the best dance party and we have Mike to thank :)
