Included in all our Wedding Packages: 2 new songs learned just for you, Master of Ceremonies, sound engineer, sound system, stage lighting, customized performance to include your favorite songs, and 4 hours of performance with 2 breaks. Our base package starts with our 7-piece band. Our most popular band size configuration is 10-pieces, to include our full horn section. Add our string quartet to the mix, and our 14-piece Plush Orchestra will leave jaws on the floor for an unforgettable dinner party or cocktail hour. We offer several ceremony and cocktail hour music options: live strings, acoustic guitar, solo keyboard, or the increasingly popular jazz trio. Once the dancing begins, you can add our live DJ to keep the party going while we're taking band breaks. We originally found the band through some close friends - we danced the night away with them at their wedding and knew we had to have the band be a part of ours! They are all so incredibly talented. We used their string quartet for our ceremony, jazz quartet for the cocktail hour, and the whole band with brass for the reception.
Alyssa was amazing to work with. She was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She helped us stay on track with picking out our list of songs for all aspects of our wedding. The band even learned some new songs for our special dances and made them magical.

d extensive research on bands around the SA/Austin area - no one was more professional than Plush Party Band. Since our first encounter, they were down to earth, easy to communicate with, and overall reliable & trustworthy when it came to wedding day. They were our favorite wedding vendor!!!!! It is now over 6 months since our wedding and people are still asking us about who the band was & their incredible performance. Plush Party Band was able to keep everyone on the dance floor all night - from children to my 95 year old uncle!! They play an array of music for everyone’s taste - contemporary, pop, R&B, 80s, Country, you name it! Their charismatic presence is magical, fun, & they surely bring an energy that will make your wedding day unforgettable for you and your guests.

Every single aspect was perfect. And the reception was so fun & they got right into the crowd and danced, and none of our guests can stop talking about them! There are some wedding bands that swap out band members based on availability, but that is not the case with Plush Party Band. This is absolutely the band you should book for your special day! At one point DJ BJ even chased down a groomsman to get back on the dance floor! t bands in the central Texas area. Given COVID times you really could not go “see” anyone live. So we originally wanted to go with a band we had at least seen at another wedding but we quickly realized some of the wedding bands have several artists and you are not necessarily booking the same people. We had received a recommendation for Plush Party Band and when I spoke with Ashley I felt so at peace with her. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and I felt like she was trying to help me not upsell me. I felt like I was talking with a friend less talking to a used car salesmen, and best of all they have their core band! Our experience with Plush Party Band was all around perfection. Leading up to the day of they were there for all of my last-minute questions, adding on the string quartet for ceremony, cocktail and first dances/first part of dinner. They helped add more to the stage last minute, mic for our officiant- basically everything I forgot to think of they had my back! THEY KILLED IT AT OUR WEDDING! All of our guests talked about them for weeks after! Before dinner was even served guests were on the dance floor. It really was a non-stop party and all lead by their energy. We even had a slight power outage (lol) and they kept the party going and had a full dance floor! People thought they had just dimmed the lights for dancing, that is how good Plush Party Band was! They learned our first dance, mother/father special dance songs and played those live- incredible. They last minute did our private last dance song and even did a second line for our grand exit! ubt, PPB was absolute fire. Their ability to switch from Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra (which our grandparents LOVED) during dinner to dance hits like Take on Me or Mr Brightside was incredible. PPB was talented, energetic, and read the room perfectly. The dance floor was packed and BUMPIN the entire party. PPB specially learned an Elvis interpretation of "Can't Help Falling in Love" for me and my wife as our last dance, which will always be such a special memory for us. Be warned: PPB may be TOO good. Not only was Plush Party Band responsive, and professional, but they were accommodating with the pandemic throwing a huge wrench into our wedding plans: with finding new dates and totally changing our large, indoor event into a much smaller, outdoor wedding. Plush Party Bad had a few safety requests for events, which I 100% appreciated, and hoped I accommodated them to the fullest! It made me feel better, and it made my guests feel better! Alyssa's voice is incredible and she is was a dream to work with. I didn't have to worry about a thing because they truly know what they are doing. Pulling off a fun ass wedding in 2020 was no easy feat but I didn't have to worry about the band once due to their commitment to their customers. When it came to their actual performance, we knew they would be good, but when Alyssa started our dinner set with "At Last" we watched every single one of our guest's mouths drop to the floor and look at her in amazement. From that moment on she set the tone for the entire night - every song would be better than the last and I'm not exaggerating when I say every single one of our wedding guests was on the dance floor the entire night. The energy, professionalism and pure talent that Plush Party Band brought to their stage was the best I have ever seen. And our guests are still raving about them! Also, if you're on the fence about adding the horns section or the DJ, don't be - THEY WERE WORTH EVERY PENNY. point? Even though I had read all the outstanding reviews, and my parents and I saw them twice at bars in Austin and Houston, my expectations for the reception were SO high and I was scared that there was no way for them to be met.
LET ME TELL YOU HOW WRONG I WAS. Plush is THE reason why we have received thank you letters from our wedding guests, letting us know what an awesome time they had (seriously! multiple wedding guests have sent US thank you letters for throwing such an awesome party. WHAT the WHAT!?!).
From the start, even prior to getting a contract signed, Alyssa was there to answer all my questions (and I had more than a reasonable number of questions), and never made me feel like a nuisance. During the planning phase, Alyssa was responsive to my (additional) questions (so. many. questions) and was great at working out the schedule of the night, keeping all the details in order and making sure that we were on the same page for all the minutiae...even my wedding coordinator noted how impressed she was with the professionalism she had in dealing with Plush.
As far as the wedding reception went, we could not have had a more incredible experience. The playlist selected by Plush was SPOT ON, the band was unstoppable, and our dance floor was PACKED (with teenagers to 70+ year olds) every minute that Plush was performing. I might have been the sweatiest bride to have ever graced a dance floor, and the next day, my husband and I had sore legs from all the dancing!
I know that getting a wedding band is typically more expensive than hiring a DJ, but if you are looking for a dance floor that is going to be bumpin' and a wedding reception that will be unforgettable, look no further than Plush; the cost is SO WORTH IT. (And don't forget to add on the horn section!)

They came out into the audience to play, sing and dance with the crowd and interacted with everyone. They were so pleasant to work with. Everything went so smoothly, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Alyssa worked with our coordinator and we were as involved as we wanted to be. The feedback we got from those clients was all we needed to hear to book them. They learned our favorite songs for our first dances, they let us give them a list of all the songs we wanted to hear while they took their breaks, and let us pick our favorites from their song list as well as the ones we didn't want them to play. They are not arrogant about anything, even though their talent level was beyond amazing, but they really do want to make your wedding the absolute best it can be for you. Mission accomplished!
