PNW Wedding Dance

ooked forward to our dance lessons! Our first dance went perfectly, and we can't recommend PNW wedding dance enough. 

We ended up loving every bit of it and so did our attendees. Aside from being a dance instructor, she’s also so engaging and fun as a person and we loved getting to know her during our lessons.

ht have had more fun at lessons than I did (which is hard to surpass)! I love that Nikki choreographs a unique routine to your song. During lessons, she was able to see where we struggled or what we may need to adjust and gave us great solutions and options. After multiple lesson we had learned the choreography and she was able to help us polish things and have us practice in multiple directions to be prepared for our big day. Every class was so fun! We will miss spending our Sundays with Nikki! She is very professional and knowledge while also bringing a ton of fun and laughter into lessons. Book her for your first dance lessons!!

ofessional because 1. Only one of us had any dance experience. 2. Our song was faster than normal and we were heavily influenced by the music video with its lifts and high energy. 3. The groom had a knee injury. Nikki not only took it in stride she created the PERFECT first dance. Our wedding was 4 months ago and people are still talking about it and how it was the best first dance they’ve ever seen. Nikki was a dream to work with and is just such a lovely human being who really cares about her couples. We were so so sad after our last lesson saying goodbye. We need to find more reasons for choreographed dances so we can spend more time with her!

Nikki’s experience in teaching really shows during her classes, she gives clear instruction, gives feedback in a positive and constructive way, and tailors the dance to make it compatible with the couple’s “vibe”. My husband and I have never danced before and we honestly looked like professionals to an untrained eye :) We’re from Beaverton and made the trip over to Oregon City just to see her because she’s worth it. I will also say her pricing is totally great for what the end result is! You can get as little or as many classes as you want depending on how experienced you are with dancing which was perfect. Overall, if you’re thinking of taking lessons with Nikki - do it! You will not regret making your wedding that much more special and fun, and Nikki is just that genuine of a person we’re so happy we were able to spend time with her!

She also pushed us to test our limits, because she knew we could pull off the fancy lifts. The wedding dance experience ended up being one of our favorite parts of the wedding process and so many of our friends and family said it was their favorite part of our wedding. We learned 2:30 minutes worth of choreo in 2 hours (broken into 2 sessions) and then decided to do 1 more session to refine the dances which had a couple lifts and dips in it. One thing we were extra happy with was her ability to choreograph a ballroom style dance for two women who are the same size. It was such a great dance! We had multiple guests at our wedding come up to us to tell us it was the best first dance they had seen. It was also one of our favorite moments of the wedding. THANKS NIKKI!

We enlisted Nikki's help to choreograph and teach us how to dance for our wedding's first dance. Nikki did an amazing job. She choreographed the song we chose with some flashy and exciting moves. Our wedding dance was a HUGE hit. We couldn't be happier in how it turned out and how Nikki's positive attitude, dance knowledge, and teaching technique got us there.

Once we began planning the wedding, we had no question about who to reach out to for our first dance choreography. We had a Pakistani/American fusion wedding and asked for a slow American song followed by a fast Bollywood song. Nikki delivered! My father in law said it was the best part of the wedding. Nikki is kind, attentive, and knows how to please a crowd. We give her our highest recommendation for meaningful moments like ours. You won't be disappointed!

T first dance! She was flexible when we weren't feeling confident about certain moves and was encouraging when she felt we could handle something we weren't so sure about. The outcome was a show stopper. She also at one of our lessons was happy to teach my dad and I a few simple moves so that our Father Daughter dance had a polished quality to it as well. She truly is a wonderful person and has contagious energy that will make you look forward to dance lessons! Thank you, Nikki!

Our only regret is that we didn’t start sooner! Nikki transformed our first dances from something that would be special to us into something that was memorable and special for all of our guests. We felt totally confident on the dance floor, and best of all, we all have a newfound enjoyment of dance, and the tools to make it a part of our future.
