Booking without a trial can be nerve-wrecking, but leading up (and day of) she made me feel at ease and truly made my wedding hair dreams come to life! I received countless compliments and it stayed from 10:30am to Midnight. Even with a veil on for over 4 hours - it still stayed pristine. I wish I could wear my hair like this everyday, because I truly have never felt so beautiful. Thank you Kim, for being such an integral part of my wedding day! 🫶

Last but not least, I HAVE to mention the marvelous Krystal—not only did she do everyone's makeup on the day, she also crafted a truly show-stopping bridal updo for me, complete with live flowers and fall foliage. On the day of the wedding, Krystal and Hannah arrived to the venue on time and worked well together. It made for a relaxed, friendly environment that helped ease any of my lingering pre-wedding jitters. Everyone I worked with who is affiliated with Poetically Brushed showed an amazing level of detail and care, and I would highly recommend them to any bride who is planning a wedding in the greater DMV area.

to life! I wanted a natural glam makeup looks with braids and curls with some celestial themed accessories for my hair. She did an amazing job! I honestly have never felt more beautiful than I did on that day. My makeup and hair lasted all day and night through sweat, dancing, rain, and wind! It was my first time having airbrushed makeup done and I could not recommend it more of a wedding day! Also, some of my bridesmaids had natural curly hair and Kim & Laura did a great job of styling! Throughout my bridesmaids getting ready whenever they had any questions (which a lot of them don't wear makeup often so they had some) they did a great job of explaining what everything does and what they were doing and even offering tips that the girls can bring into their everyday style! I loved working with Kim & Laura for my big day and recommend then to any bride in the DMV area!
