Hey there! I’m Malia, I started Point B in 2022 and officially launched in 2023! Those who knew me in high school know that whenever I was asked what my dream job was, it was “well a wedding planner but I’m going to be a police officer” and here we are 10 years later. I have a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice and have loved every minute of that journey but it’s time I also do what fills my soul: wedding planning and event coordination. More specifically, being apart of other peoples best day and being the one they can turn to, to make it everything they’ve dreamt of AND stress-free!

Any questions we had were answered immediately, and she even visited the ceremony venue to send me pictures so we could see it during the same month we would get married in the following year. I had visited our booked venues in the summer, and though still not in the contracted time, Malia had drove to meet me in person (I live in Florida and wedding was in Arkansas) and sat with me in my meetings with both ceremony and reception venues to help everyone be on the same page and ask her own questions as both of my venues were new to her as well.
Malia was the most helpful and kindest person, and she left absolutely nothing for me to worry about. Any slight hiccups were immediately resolved. My husband and I are so grateful and are so happy we booked with Point B Events.
Malia coordinated all the vendors and helped make sure all the vendors were on the same timeline. They worked together for a seamless reception where my timeline didn’t follow the traditional schedule. Malia helped with set up the day before and worked tirelessly until clean up. She even organized all the decorations as well as my husband and I’s belongings making it to our wedding suite. Malia and her assistants were absolutely phenomenal, and left no room for error. There is no company I would recommend more! :)

We will never forget walking back up the aisle after our ceremony to Malia holding our signature drinks for us. detailed, thought of EVERYTHING (which was great as I am the first one in my family to have a wedding so we were all pretty much clueless), and she was so invested in making sure our wedding dreams came true. Malia is kind, professional, and such a calming presence. I was definitely nervous on my wedding day, but both her and her assistant took such good care of me and my now husband and made sure everything flowed smoothly. Our wedding was amazing, and we could not have done it without Point B Events. Will be recommending her to everyone I know since I know they will be in good hands with Malia.
