We recently had our wedding at Point Lookout Vineyard, and overall, it truly was a beautiful day and a memorable experience. The space itself is lovely, and everything came toge...
ther in the end for a celebration we will always cherish.
Unfortunately, a major part of the planning process was made significantly more stressful due to ongoing communication issues with the event coordinator, Cindy, who we also paid additionally to serve as our wedding coordinator. This made the situation even more difficult. From early on, it was hard to get timely responses. There were multiple instances where I emailed and did not receive a response, waited a week or more, and then had to follow up with several texts before hearing back. This made planning feel very uncertain and, at times, overwhelming. While she continuously reassured us that issues were not common and not to worry, the overall experience throughout the process did not reflect that.
The situation became even more stressful when Cindy canceled just 6 days before our wedding due to an opportunity to travel to Italy. While she did provide a recommended substitute coordinator and, after some back and forth communication, comped the cost of coordination, the last-minute change created a lot of added pressure. The new coordinator was extremely kind and professional and truly did her best to step in and help, but she was put in a very difficult position having to pick up a situation she had not been a part of planning. Because of this, she understandably did not have the same understanding or expectations of what had been discussed and planned, which meant several things Cindy had originally agreed to help with were no longer going to be done. We ultimately had to step in and figure out many details ourselves during an already busy and emotional time.
Because of these communication gaps, our timeline was not finalized until just a few days before the wedding, making it very difficult to properly coordinate with vendors. In fact, several vendors reached out to us directly because they had not been contacted with necessary information. Given that agreements and payments had been in place since March 2025 for an April 2026 wedding, this level of disorganization was incredibly stressful and disappointing.
There were also a few execution issues on the day of the wedding, such as the wrong wine being set out initially, which while corrected, added unnecessary stress in the moment.
That said, we are incredibly grateful for Sabrina, Mike, and Leslie, along with a few other staff members, who truly stepped up in a big way. They went above and beyond, took on extra responsibilities, and worked hard to make things right. We genuinely would not have been able to have the amazing day we did without their support and effort.
While we did have a wonderful wedding and appreciate the beauty of the venue itself, we invested a significant amount for the venue, alcohol, and coordinator. Because of this, we feel it is important to share that we would not recommend working with Cindy specifically, as the coordination aspect did not meet expectations and added a great deal of unnecessary stress. We say this with hesitation, as she is kind and personable, and we truly wish the experience had been different.
We hope this feedback is helpful for future couples when planning their special day.
We wanted to love the venue, but they made sure we did not. We picked the venue 2 years ahead of our wedding date and it was very difficult to get in touch with Cindy leading up th...
e wedding. I had to email her to ask her for the link to pay the rest of the invoice for the venue and she lost evidence of my deposit. I had to go into my bank account and screenshot the deposit to send to her as proof. She did not respond to multiple emails about the alcohol/drinks pricing to the point we had to show up unannounced one weekend to ask for the quote in person. When we received the quote, it was wildly overpriced. Our wedding was in October; the forecast had a cold front coming the weekend of our wedding. We were told there would be space heaters available, and the images of other weddings on their website have space heaters available. They have space heaters, but they did not have any propane to run them. Apparently, they do not know how to check a forecast and prepare for the weather. We and our guests were cold even with the vinyl windows/doors down and the fireplace going. They will force you to pay gratuity for the bartender beforehand yet put out a tip jar during the event. I have no problem paying the bartender, they should get what they deserve to be paid, but do not have us pay gratuity and then ask our guests for tips during the event. The venue is beautiful, the wine is great, but they are not great at running it as a event venue. They had a recommended vendor event at the vineyard but barely advertised it. You would think that everyone who is booked for a future wedding and/or who has expressed interest in the venue would get an email saying hey come look at our recommended vendors at the venue. But all they did was make 1 post on Facebook that my wife just so happened to see about 3 weeks before the vendor event. We were able to shuffle plans around to make it work but it was empty, very few people showed up to look at the vendors. The venue has a lot of potential if they can get someone competent to run the events side of things. We had to get some of our vendors to contact Cindy to tell her to respond to us or get back to us with information. The vendors reaction to us mentioning getting in touch with her is a pain tells us that this is a common issue.
Choosing Point Lookout Vineyards as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was special. The mountain views are abso...
lutely breathtaking—peaceful, expansive, and truly unforgettable. It felt like a dream setting, one that made our day feel intimate, meaningful, and incredibly beautiful all at once.
What made our wedding day truly stress-free and magical, though, was Cindy. As our day-of coordinator, she was nothing short of amazing. Cindy brought a calm presence, a kind heart, and a level of organization that allowed us to fully let go and be present in the moment. She handled every detail, managed the timeline, coordinated vendors, and quietly solved anything that came up—often before we even realized it needed attention.
Because of Cindy, we were able to focus on what really mattered: each other, our families, and the love we were celebrating. We never felt rushed, overwhelmed, or uncertain. Instead, we felt supported, cared for, and completely confident that everything was in the best hands.
Point Lookout Vineyards is more than just a beautiful mountain venue—it’s a place that holds space for meaningful moments and lifelong memories. Cindy didn’t just coordinate our wedding day; she gave us the gift of peace, joy, and the ability to truly experience every second. We will forever be grateful, and we cannot recommend Point Lookout Vineyards and Cindy enough to any couple dreaming of a wedding day filled with beauty, love, and ease.

k response, so if I could give any advice it would be invest in a outside wedding planner if you would like to have a more relaxed, “hands off” approach on the planning process. Overall, we couldn’t have picked a better spot for our special day.
We loved having our wedding at Point Lookout. The views were the reason we decided to have our wedding there, as well as the spacious accomodations both indoors and outdoors. We ha...
d plenty of space to set up all our tables, our flowers, and a good layout for our buffet. The bridal suite and groom suite on site was really nice, and were decently sized for our bridal party. It did sometimes take a little bit of time for the venue to get back to us, and we were not informed there would be a wine tasting on the day of our wedding, so we had several people wandering through our setup as we were getting everything ready.
Our son was married to his lovely bride at Point Lookout Vineyards in October 2023. The venue’s views and facilities were simply spectacular. The wedding coordinator, Cindy, was i...
ncredibly professional and helpful during the entire process. She worked closely with us through the planning, including coordinating with our other wedding partners such as the Caterer Florist, Pastry Chef, and DJ. We were able to rely on her expertise throughout the entire experience.
On the wedding day, she helped keep the entire wedding party on schedule while making it a most memorable day. Our day started around 9 am and ended around 11 pm; there was not a single issue during the entire day. It was absolutely perfect.
As far as the facilities are concerned, they have a beautiful rustic vibe. There are separate bridal and groom suites which allow for a relaxing and beautiful place to prepare for the day. There is a fully equipped, spacious kitchen area for the caterers to prepare the food. There is plenty of parking, and a shuttle service is provided to the parking lots.
A special feature aside from the breathtaking views, is the excellent wine selection. They offer a wide selection from which to choose to serve at the wedding. We received multiple compliments from the guests on the wine choices.
The venue staff are friendly, easy to access, and willing to help in any way needed . We cannot say enough about Cindy and her staff. It was everything we had ever hoped for that special day. We would wholeheartedly recommend booking your wedding at this treasured location.

seating charts to help individualize your special day, as well as a list of vendors and local accommodations for your guests and bridal/groom suites. The owners and coordinator go out of their way to accommodate the needs of the entire bridal party. It was truly a perfect day!

y I will never forget.
Such a warm and welcoming venue. We loved hosting our daughter and son in laws wedding here. Our guests were thrilled and in awe with the wines and views!!
What makes this venue so special is hands down, the view. It is absolutely beautiful and guests could not stop talking about how beautiful it was. So if you are looking to make a l...
asting impression on your guests, this venue is the one!
The wedding package does pack a lot of value such as the set up of all your tables, ceremony and reception chairs, a full sized catering kitchen, indoor and outdoor options, a bridal suite and groom's parlor, and a shuttle for your guests to get from the parking lot to the venue. There is even a full bathroom, yes including a shower, in the bridal suite.
You will have to rent decor and linen but they already have a lot of their own beautiful decor too like wreaths on the fireplace and lanterns on the floor mantels, so it is still very reasonable. My issue came with delayed invoices, delayed responses, and repetitive communication that made for some anxiety while planning but Cindy is very understanding, flexible, and she may not always respond on your time, but she responds in time. You can tell by her calm demeanor about everything that she has a lot of experience dealing with weddings so while you are freaking out, she is probably picturing how perfect it is going to be once you get to that moment. Everything was clarified on our final walkthrough and changes were even made the day of the wedding.
One drawback was being informed that the groom's parlor or bridal suite would be getting remodeled the month of our wedding while doing our final walkthrough, but it really didn’t affect the day any since the boys decided to get ready at a hotel.
A huge drawback was that another couples rehearsal was being held the day of our wedding while we were finishing set up. So if that matters to you, ask if you can expect anybody else to hold a rehearsal on your wedding day and if you don’t want that to happen, have it written in your contract. This actually impacted our photographer and videographers schedule greatly and made it difficult to catch pre ceremony footage of the finished reception and ceremony area before guests arrived. It was just a really unexpected stressor that could’ve been planned for if I had known ahead of time.
And yes, despite the $6,500 price tag, you will be sharing the venue with the public but I must say the venue and our day-of coordinator did a great job of making sure we didn’t notice! I did not have a problem with the public being the in the tasting room. They were all outside, but that could change with the weather. We had a beautiful first sunny day of Spring that might have impacted this. There were private event signs, ropes, and verbal reinforcement made by our day-of coordinator to ensure the day remained intimate for us and our guests.
In all, I have no regrets about the venue we chose. It is a blessing of a place and I truly believe God’s hand is all over it from the weather, to the people who work there and visit or live in the area. My guests and I were respected and treated fairly. Everything worked out! I say give it a go if your heart is set on this venue, but be patient and pray along the way! You are going to encounter hiccups with ANY venue. That is just the nature of the beast of getting married so at least make it memorable with this view and easy to fix with staff that really care about your day like Cindy and her family do!
Cindy and the whole Point Lookout crew are top-notch. My wife and I had the wedding of our dreams thanks to them. The venue has all the amenities one could need on their wedding da...
y. Our families were pleasantly surprised by the views, location, and staff. I can go on and on about how perfect Point Lookout was for us. Cindy allowed us to visit multiple times so we could plan and gain ideas. She mingled with both our parents and fielded all our questions. The Point Lookout crew are also well-versed in their vendors. We had no issues and on our wedding night, it felt like the vendors themselves were part of the Point Lookout family and thus made our night even more special. If you are looking at getting married in the mountains and you should definitely check this venue out. Even when we had adverse weather at our wedding, Cindy and the crew rolled with it and provided us with our dream day. Super professional, outstanding standards, and the wine isn't too shabby either.
Can't thank them enough.

y size wedding . There is room for a band and dancing. The views are amazing with wonderful photo opportunities any time of the year. Outside they have both an arch or a cross for your preference for your ceremony . Inside there is a beautiful fireplace that makes an excellent option for exchanging vows. The staff is professional , friendly ,and helpful and will help you plan for all your needs. Our wedding day was everything we had hoped for . Their wines are wonderful also .

unny but beautiful. It was a little hot while the sun was out but by 6:30p it was absolutely perfect. We had people smoking cigars around the fire pit and had s'mores. We had about 175 guests + a 6 piece band and there was plenty of room for a dance floor. The team at the venue even moved a couple tables to make the dance floor bigger since so many people were dancing. We worked with Cindy, as our day of coordinator, and she and the entire team ran the show the day of with no issues. She was our saving grace. My husband and I went out with our photographer and the owner in an ATV to take pictures at the most beautiful locations imaginable. We even drank through all the beer that we originally included in our bar package and Cindy and the bartenders worked to make sure it was never an issue - refilling when necessary. I can't imagine the day going any better! HIGHLY recommend!!!

(Two weddings and a reception in one day!) Everything went so smoothly! The view is absolutely breathtaking and all our pictures turned out so great. The bridal and groom suit was perfect! We can go on and on about how wonderful the experience was! :) Cindy, Mike and Sabrina - We love you!

Lookout’s driveway is easy to maneuver and paved, and they provide a shuttle to the top. This is super important for people who aren’t used to driving in the mountains. The ceremony area and pavilion are fantastic for accommodating a large group like ours. The staff is extremely helpful and patient (my family is a bit boisterous). Cindy, their day-of-coordinator is amazing and went beyond the duties of a coordinator to help the process go smoothly. It was the perfect fall day and there was so much love in the air. You can’t ask for a better venue to provide a romantic ambience and a beautiful view. Thank you!

nd beyond to make sure our day was perfect. I felt extremely relaxed on the day of knowing that they would take good care of us and everything would go smoothly. It rained on our wedding day and the view was still gorgeous with the clouds. We even had a rainbow! The mountains and vineyards are perfect for taking photos. We also used the cellar to take a couple pics and Mike and Sabrina were so kind to help us use that space. Cindy made our day so special. We worked with her for over a year planning the wedding and things went off without a hitch. We're extremely grateful for all of the staff and we're so happy we chose Point Lookout for our wedding. Would highly recommend to anyone who asked!

Absolutely the best place! The staff and owner made it feel effortless. They now have a place for the public outside, which means that there is more room (especially on nice days...
) inside. There was plenty of room in the bridal suite for myself, my hairdresser, 4 bridesmaids, and two moms. The groomsmen didn't need as much time or space, so they wondered around the grounds. It was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend it to anyone. We booked it on a Sunday, and the day before a holiday. So it was like having a Saturday wedding, but at a Sunday price.
Not for weddings! Our daughter rented this facility for her wedding. It was VERY expensive ($6-7k) and only included the venue, tables, chairs, use of the kitchen & facilities. Ev...
erything else (including dishes and glassware) had to be rented from outside sources and vendors.
**Note that we rented the facility BEFORE IT WAS EVEN BUILT so the couple fully trusted PLV with their big day! At the time of booking we knew there “could be” wine tastings on sight but were made aware there was a cellar where tastings could take place if needed.
Our wedding day was cloudy with patchy rain and of course PLV decided to use the main area for the wine tasting instead of the cellar in a separate area of the property. We had to share the upper parking area which left handicapped folks being transported up, us carrying items, moving cars and being transported to the main building. The two dressing parlors where the wedding parties get ready are directly off the main building wine tasting area.
The problem? To carry in our clothing and supplies we ALL had to walk through the wine tasting area. To have lunch (we had planned to use a table or two in the wine tasting area for easy access but it was full), so we had to walk through there to eat in our main venue where our dinner tables were being set up.
For photos and all other needs we had to walk through there. Crowded. People irritated. Us scooting around servers and people. Just crazy!
The bridal parlors are decent sized but there are not adequate plus ins or hanging areas and the downstairs one has no ventilation. It is hot and again, directly off the wine tasting area so opening the door causes privacy and noise issues.
Before the ceremony, the people at the tasting could see the couples “first look” when family was asked to let it be a private moment. The entire wedding party had to traipse through there to come and go. Very tight and uncomfortable.
The venue itself is beautiful and everything was awesome. However, we had guests later tell us that folks from the tasting area were walking across the hall to get drinks from our open bar and desserts. We also saw every employee eating plates of our food including the wine tasting staff. The couple had small boxes of food to take home but very little was left.
It seemed the venue worried more about the wine tasting than the wedding.
You may wonder why we didn’t address any of this with the owner. We did. He rudely informed us that this was the way they handled all weddings, that the brides knew (though who would have ever thought the unbuilt building would have such a horrible layout) and that we’d have to deal with it.
Easy solution? Use the cellar for tastings on wedding days.
We guess $7k per day is not enough for some greedy people. Selling those extra bottles of wine are worth an unsettled, difficult to maneuver wedding day. It’s a nice view but I would probably find another one.
My husband and I could not have picked a better place to have our wedding ceremony and reception. Our wedding was all that we imagined it would be and more. We had the best wedding...
ever and we can’t thank Point Lookout Vineyards enough for all of their help along the way!
Point Lookout is a beautiful venue and has the most spectacular views you could imagine. Everyone at our wedding had an amazing time and had nothing but positive things to say. Because Point Lookout is an outdoor venue, it accommodates up to 300 guests, so there is plenty of room for everyone to eat, drink, mingle and dance! It is very open, so everything flows smoothly. Overall, the venue is in a very secluded, private location. However, the wine tasting room is open, even during private events. Although I was a little nervous about having strangers walking around during our special day, I never noticed anyone who had not been invited, so it really was not a problem at all. Our wedding was in the summer, so the natural light was absolutely perfect! The beautiful chandeliers provided ample light after the sun went down. Point Lookout is a beautiful venue and has the most spectacular views you could imagine. The vineyard is gorgeous, and there are miles of mountainous panoramic views. It is naturally pretty. We only had flowers and a few signs for decorations, and that was plenty! Even with having a summer wedding, it was very cool during the reception with the mountain breezes. There were more than enough outlets for everything. There were also 2 screens under the pavilion, which worked wonderfully for our videos that were played during the reception. There is a large parking lot right below the ceremony and reception are. Parking attendants and shuttle service was also offered for those who need/want to be shuttled to the ceremony and reception sites. There is also a Plan B included in the venue price in case of inclement weather. Even with us being outdoors, everyone was able to hear us during our ceremony, and the speeches and toasts given during the reception were just as great! There is a full-service catering support kitchen to be used by your caterer. The bathrooms were very large and super clean! There was an outdoor patio with a fire pit and beautiful rocking chairs. The venue price included the use of farm tables, round tables, and cross-back chairs for the reception, as well as wooden chairs for the ceremony. We were able to use the Bridal Suite and Groom’s Parlor to get ready in. They were on the smaller side, but they were very clean, comfortable, and relaxing before the big moment. They also offer military discounts, which was a huge plus for us. Both my husband and I highly recommend it for an outdoor venue with a perfect mountain view. Thank you so much Point Lookout Vineyards, for making our wedding day one to remember!
This place is amazing. The views are beautiful, the staff (including the owners) are friendly and engaging, and the wine/mead selection is to die for! Everyone at our wedding had a...

dy in; one for the bridal party and the other for the groomsmen. The bridal party of 8 (including the bride) were able to get ready in the room; it was a bit hot but the window opens to get some air. The venue in itself is breathtaking. We loved having the chance to have our ceremony outside, overlooking the vineyard! And then going under the wooden pavilion to have our reception. The wooden tables for the wedding party were beautiful. The chairs for the ceremony were comfortable because they are padded. The alcohol package they have is amazing! I would highly recommend serving their wines and meads they make on site at your event. The catering kitchen is clean and organized. The tasting room is big and airy with lots of seating inside and outside.
for the wedding, we were able to have some of the venue staff shuttle wedding guests from the gravel lot to the building.
Everyone at the venue is polite and kind hearted. My husband and I were in awe of the beautiful of the venue and the mountain backdrop.
10/10 we will recommend this venue to our friends and family!
