Poised Bridal was my first bridal stop, but I wish it had been my last because I completely regret going to another salon in McAllen afterward, and lost out on amazing deals, but I felt like I had to go to more than one bridal salon because I thought it wasn't possible to find the one on the first go around. However, I couldn't get the Poised Bridal dress out of my head. Side note, the salon on 10th in McAllen was AWFUL!. Do NOT go anywhere else. Poised bridal gives you the BEST experience ever! I got so many compliments on the style, but I also got quite a few on how well it fit me. The alterations team at Poised Bridal does top-notch work. We went back and she started asking how my shopping appearance had being going thus far. I told her the truth and that they had been fine. I had a dress in mind that could possibly be the one I go back to, I just needed to go to one more place to make sure which happened to be Poised. I showed her my top contender and she asked me what was missing from it? I told her I couldn’t put my finger on it, it was just missing that “this is the one” feeling and factor. She quickly went on her search and returned with two dresses. I put on the first dress and immediately had that this is what I’ve been waiting for feel! It sounds super corny and cliché, but I truly felt that “when you know you know“ feeling. I was super excited to show my mom and she could see on my face that I had found MY DRESS! They did an amazing job and listened to me and even after I knew I was certain she had me try on two other dresses just to make sure. We toasted with a glass of champagne and I had such a feeling of relief! This place was amazing from start to finish and they are a life saver. They helped me get really specific and narrow down to a small selection of dresses, and then I kid you not, let me keep trying on two dresses for at least 15 minutes back and forth. I don't know how she has that kind of patience. She didn't push me into any style, or offer an opinion. She asked me what I did and didn't like, and brought selections based on that. They offer the best customer service. Felt amazing to say yes to the dress here!

This store could have taken my money, and instead, what they recommended makes a lot of sense, since I am a bride that wants the newest out there. They took the time to ask me about what I was looking for, my venue, etc. and then I felt like they really understood me and my vibe. I ended up selecting the very first gown I tried on (and had pulled by Nancy). PB has a wide range of price points, too. I saw a good amount of beautiful and affordable gowns. Overall though, PB's huge selection and guarantee price match makes it well worth it to deal with the crazy. I plan to bring my sister back to shop for her bridal gown!

Also, the selection here is INCREDIBLE! I asked for something more unique and not cookie-cutter and Nancy really delivered. Furthermore, they assisted in taking pictures of me in any dress I wanted because my mother couldn't be there in person and I was shopping alone. She never rushed me and truly helped me find MY STYLE. Towards the end when I had found the one, we did a facetime with my mom, and she busted into tears, I think we were all crying, Nancy popped the champagne and we celebrated! They really made me feel like they cared, I am so happy that they earned my bussiness. If you're thinking of visiting this store DO IT. I recommend Nancy and all of her amazing team to all my friends, she was My Fairy Gown Mother, and she can be yours too!

Their high level of customer service was apparent from the start. I am thrilled that I was able to purchase my dress from them. When I came in to purchase the dress that I was speaking with the owner-- I didn't realize that initially. She sat down with me to answer my final questions and to relay information to the dress designer to ensure that everything was as I wanted. Everyone who I interacted with at the store was helpful and friendly. When I came back, a sales associate who was present during my second visit remembered me and the dress I was buying. Again, I am glad that I was able to purchase my dress from this boutique where I felt like they took the time to get to know me and help me find a dress, I am so excited about!

The owner stayed after hours to brainstorm how we could customize the dress to fit my needs. We looked at multiple styles of dresses and with their designer minds, we customized exactly what I wanted!! Trust me; they weren’t going home until we figured it out. At most salons they’ll sell you dresses off the rack and their sales reps are not designers so it’s all about their current inventory. Not at Poised Bridal. Come in with an idea and they will build off of it! Their customer service is amazing. It doesn’t stop there. Nancy is an amazing designer, she knows all the tricks of the trade for comfort and fit. This salon almost felt like family after all was said and done. It’s a gem of a store and I am so lucky to have found it !!

We had an appointment at another shop earlier in the day that didn’t go well. The stars aligned, and Poised had a cancellation that afternoon that I could squeeze in to! The shop itself is so…magical!. So feminine, utterly attractive, smells like the gods and their bridal selection is OMG, their gowns are in the back and I had the entire shop to myself which was very unlike the previous store. Having a personalized appointment, to walk around in dresses and not be judged by others was a sigh of relief. I felt so comfortable and at ease and actually found my dress that day! It was a very exciting time and I could not be more thankful to the staff at Poised bridal. I could not be more thankful to Poised Bridal Couture for making my dress search so enjoyable.

I fell in love with the silhouette of my gown, but the sample color was ivory and gold and the back was very low cut. Nancy helped me customize the gown by raising the back to a comfortable level and I was able to order the gown in solid ivory. I felt gorgeous in my dress. I never felt rushed and they were patient working with me to make sure my gown fit my body perfectly. The owner Nancy went above and beyond and during my appointment spent time with me to look at the different jewelry options I could wear with my gown. I appreciate the staff at Poised Bridal for the time they took with me and their attention to detail. I could not be happier with my experience. Now let me tell you that I had been to many local and other big cities salons, let’s just say that this salon beats the rest by far, they service is unbelievable, Nancy’s knowledge is like nothing I experience in any of the 12 salons I visited before. Her knowledge goes a long way, I was originally going for a style I had in mind, but OMG she recommended a different style after I tried the ones I thought looked best on me, again I had my reservations but wow, she is a FAIRY GOWN MOTHER! Nancy is also an accessory designer! She is designing a headpiece I only dreamed of having and she is making it into a reality. Her work is like nothing I had seen. I love her and everyone at this place! She felt like a lifelong friend! The service, the feel and look, the dresses, the shoes, the headpieces. My only complaint is I ended up buying more than what I had in mind, ONLY because I got my bridesmaids a beautiful Katie Loxton pouches with a Beautiful secret message inside, I got the amazing garters that work as pockets, and I even got my silk getting ready robe for my boudoir getting ready shot. Nancy is an amazing business woman, but she also is a super giving person, she recommended I had my bridesmaids buy their dresses at her next door boutique gowns for a cause, she is the founder and all profits go to women being abused. We actually got all my bridesmaids dresses for wat under what we would have paid anywhere else. If you are looking for a beautiful dress you need to come to Poised before you buy anywhere else, and if you cannot find anything here, you will for sure next door, at gowns, their selection is massive with over thousands of gowns to choose for those looking for a steal of a deal and helping this amazing organization.
