We had the utmost honor of working with Amy from Polished Entertainment to bring our wedding reception and dance floor vision to life. Words cannot adequately describe how amazing, detail-oriented, and incredibly talented Amy is. From the moment we first met her, she felt like a friend we'd known forever, and we immediately knew that she was the right person to make our wedding reception everything we wanted it to be and more. Working with Amy was an absolute joy. She brought energy, enthusiasm, and excitement to every part of the planning process and right through to the end of the wedding night. Amy wasn't just our DJ; she also helped coordinate the wedding day events, ensured everything went smoothly, and made sure we had everything we wanted throughout the night. She truly went above and beyond to make our day magical. Our guests raved about the fantastic music and how they had never danced so much at any wedding. Amy is a master at reading the dance floor, knowing what song to play and when, and keeping everyone moving all night long. She also helped one of us plan and pull off a special surprise for the other during the first dance and coordinated a surprise performance by the UW Marching Band. Her creative approach and artistry were evident, especially with her impeccable timing and use of cold sparks to add beautiful imagery and excitement for our guests. Amy also planned surprises for both of us throughout the night, making us feel special in every way. Additionally, she transformed our reception space into an elegant and upscale area with the use of uplights, creating the perfect setting for us to dance the night away. We truly cannot imagine what our day would have been like without Amy, and are so thankful to have been able to work with her. We could not have imagined a better DJ for our wedding!! We truly mean it when we say Amy went above and beyond our expectations to make sure our day went as smooth as possible! She was constantly checking in with us throughout the day/evening and always making sure we had what we needed whether it be getting drinks for my husband and me or helping me find stain remover to get a stain out of my dress! We had only hired Amy for the reception and dance portion of our wedding (as we had other people playing for our ceremony and cocktail hour), however Amy was still there early setting up, helping with whatever needed to be done, and was even there to greet us after our outdoor ceremony in the heat with a glass of water! She is so thoughtful and did more than what we expected and we are so grateful! She absolutely crushed it with the music as we literally had a full dance floor the entire night! She was able to read the vibe of the crowd and continued to play hits that kept people dancing all night! I didn’t want the night to end and was so sad when it was over. If you’re looking for someone who will do everything possible to make sure you have the best event/wedding, Amy is the DJ for you and you will not be disappointed!

Amy is professional, friendly, and has great music taste! Not only did she knock it out of the park as our DJ, but she did an amazing job as our MC too. She was so helpful from the very moment we hired her, helping us plan parts of the wedding and providing support when needed. She checked in constantly throughout the night and constantly went above and beyond - bringing us drinks, making sure we were taken care of, and just making the vibe all around excellent. I literally couldn’t imagine our wedding without Amy! Not only is she an incredible DJ, but she’s an incredible vendor all around. In the months before our wedding, she was always available to answer questions and was proactively making sure we were on track with timeline development and other planning elements. And on our actual wedding, she was way more than just a DJ! She helped make sure our decorations were setup, brought us dessert, and even always made sure we had a drink in hand! And on her DJing skills – SO many of our guests commented on how perfect our reception dance party was because of her! Amy is amazing at reading the room and determining the perfect songs to play. She even custom mixed a song for our family dance, which was so special and meant so much to us. We really felt like Amy listened and created the exact vibe we wanted for our special day.
