Great tasty cupcakes with so many flavor options! All my guests mentioned how delicious they were. We did our tasting in a COVID-safe way and Olga was really helpful and responsive. Would 100% recommend working with Polkadots!

We chose to have Polkadots Bakery make our wedding cake and it was the absolute best decision! Olga truly makes the most amazing wedding cakes and the flavors are to die for! We had a four tier cake with Berry Chardonnay (our favorite that we made the biggest tier), Cinnamon Sugar, Strawberry & Cream, and Tres Leches. She has true talent and our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we hoped it would look like! We no longer live in Austin, but we hope to visit this next year and go back to her bakery to relive our wedding day! We HIGHLY recommend her to all the couples getting married in the future - she will most definitely exceed your expectations! Truly delicious!

Olga was phenomenal! Our wedding cake came out beautiful and tasted even better! I admit I was a little nervous at first because we booked everything without even a cake tasting before hand literally 2 weeks before the wedding. We went with mixed berry Chardonnay & strawberry and cream flavors. Everyone kept commenting on how good it was. My husband who isn’t a sweets person kept raving about it. Definitely would recommend Polkadots.

I might be a bit biased because I've loved Polkadots since they first opened. I've had plenty of their cupcakes and have ordered a custom cake in the past, so I knew it was the only option when it came to my wedding cake. I knew exactly the simple look I wanted and had an inkling about the flavor. We decided on strawberries and cream with vanilla buttercream and it was delicious! Olga was prompt and professional to work with, and she also helped place the flowers. The cake was a big hit and I recommend Polkadots!

Absolutely delicious! We were seeking a beautiful and tasty wedding cake for our wedding in March 2019 and Polka Dots definitely delivered! The tasting was fun and all the flavors were to die for. We went for a traditional vanilla wedding cake with vanilla buttercream and an elegant horizontal stroke design and Olga + team did a great job. I would highly recommend Polka Dots if you're looking for a delicious cake and elegant presentation!

Olga was fantastic! Our tasting was fun and enjoyable. She had many flavors and designs to choose from. Joe and I chose a very beautiful white and gold wedding cake, lemon flavored with icing that was to die for. The cake and cupcake display we ordered showed up on time the day of the wedding looking and tasting wonderful. I wish I could go back and eat it all over again. Next time we are in town we will be stopping my her shop for a cupcake just to get to relive that moment of pure sugary bliss. Thank you, Olga!

We hired Olga to do the groom’s cake for our May wedding in Austin, TX and it looked incredible and tasted delicious! My wife and I are both UT alumni so we wanted something that reminded us of our days on campus, such as the UT tower. Olga and her team created a jaw-dropping 2+ foot burnt orange and white UT clock tower! It was a sight to see and a real work of art. The flavor we chose was mixed-berries Chardonnay and it was delectable. We met with Olga at her bakery prior to our big day for a tasting and to finalize details for the cake. It was an absolute pleasure meeting Olga who we were pleased to find is also a UT alum and super friendly person! Thank you for making our groom’s cake Olga! It was the perfect addition to our wedding, especially during the “Eyes of Texas” song!

Everyone RAVED about our wedding cake--including us!!! Olga created the most beautiful and delicious cake for us. We chose to do two flowers, mixed berry chardonnay and red velvet. Both were excellent!! And the best part is whenever we feel like reminiscing we can go get cupcakes from her shop. OH! And when she delivered the cake, she sent along cupcakes with it! Much appreciated by the hungry bridal party! YUM.

Olga designed two cakes for our wedding in March. Not only was she very easy to work with, but her flavors are out of this world! I am a boring, plain vanilla girl when it comes to cake so I was certain one of the layers for our wedding cake would be vanilla. While her vanilla flavor is out of this world, the other options were so good that we opted for three different favors, none of which included vanilla! Not only is she a skilled baker but her artistry is also out of this world! Olga did exactly what we requested with the designs! I wanted a very simple, elegant cake. My husband, on the other hand, requested a replica of his wedding day gift, an Audemars Piguet watch! The watch cake Olga created was spot-on and both cakes were gorgeous! Olga also offers to send a small round cake to you for your first year anniversary. It is touches like this that make Olga’s service above and beyond. We couldn’t have been happier and highly recommend her and Polkadots!

Olga at Polkadots was the best!!! She is so sweet, and we loved our wedding dessert so much. She made a beautiful 2-tier magenta watercolor cake, as well as chocolate chip cookies and donuts. Everything was delicious and SO pretty. She was very easy to work with, communicating quickly and clearly. So happy we chose her to handle our desserts!

Olga and her team were extremely helpful, made the process enjoyable and her tasty flavors made it hard to choose! She is great to work with and cares very deeply about your experience and opinions. We would use her again for ANY occasion! We are forever Polka Dots fans!

Polkadots did the cakes and cookie favors for our 150-person wedding in Austin earlier this month and did an absolutely stellar job with both. We had a lot of trouble deciding on a vendor to do our cakes and when we were still on the fence after our first few tastings, Olga from Polkadots offered to do another tasting with us to help us make up our minds. It sounds weird but wedding cake is one of my favorite parts of any wedding, and so it was really important to me that we had a super delicious cake (which is surprisingly hard to find, even in a big market like Austin). In addition to being so friendly and fun to work with, Olga's commitment to making sure we got EXACTLY what we wanted in terms of cake flavors really stands out in my mind among all of our great vendor experiences. She was so flexible with us as we went back and forth about different icing and cake flavor combos, finally settling on three different cakes (one of which was a three-tier with two different flavors in it). We were less particular about design, and just sent her a couple of inspiration images, which actually had me, worrying leading up to the wedding that the cakes wouldn't look the way I'd hoped. On the day of the wedding when I walked into the venue to get ready, the cakes were the first thing that I saw and they absolutely blew me away with how beautiful they were. Even with our very limited guidance, Olga did a truly spectacular job making the cakes fit with the overall feel of our wedding and look just so, so beautiful. As I was waiting with my dad to walk down the aisle we were actually near the cakes again, and I couldn't stop commenting on how pretty they were (we got lots of complements from guests as well). Later in the night when we got to try the cake (we tried the funfetti one with strawberry cream cheese icing - sadly we were too busy dancing to get to try the others), I was so thrilled with how it had turned out taste-wise - a super moist, delicious wedding cake is rare and Olga nailed it. The little favor cookies that she made were also a huge hit and really made the place settings look special; we had a few leftover that we brought with us on our honeymoon and we continued to enjoy them for two weeks after the wedding. As someone who tried many different cake vendors in Austin before deciding to go with Olga, I can't encourage you enough to use Polkadots for you wedding. You won't be disappointed!

Olga is amazing! We had a great tasting with her, and I showed her some ideas I had for a henna design for the cake, and she made my vision reality. We ordered the berry chardonnay cake, and it was delicious. She also made us some cupcakes in berry chardonnay, and I was really happy to eat them after the wedding. I'm already looking forward to ordering a small version of the cake for every anniversary!

We LOVE Polkadots and Olga. We used Polkadots for our wedding and it was the best decision. We searched a lot of places for the design for our cake and Olga was the only confident baker for the design. She also had a photograph of the same design she did a few years back, so we knew she had amazing experience. The shop itself is very small but the cupcakes make up for that with big flavors (and it smells so good). We rented the cake stand from Olga and it was beautiful. She also made sure the delivery time made sense for the cake being outside and it worked out perfectly. We did not have the chance to try the cake during the wedding but we had slices packed for us to take back to the hotel and I wish we were able to take the entire cake home. It was TO DIE FOR. Actually way better than what we tasted with the cupcakes. I am extremely happy that the cake turned out so amazing, but disappointed that I could not eat it all (yes "I" not "we", I likely would not have shared with my husband - it was that good). Thank you Olga for your passion for baking and for your attention to detail, the cake was gorgeous and delicious.

I did taste tests in a bunch of bakeries and Polkadots had the best tasting cake. They also worked with my budget and had a lot of options. I had a lot of vegans at my wedding so the options for vegan cupcakes along with a cake was perfect. The cake turned out absolutely beautiful. Olga offered a lot of useful insight. Everyone in my family said it was the best wedding cake they had. Day of, set up went very smoothly. Olga also laughed at all my terrible jokes which proves they have excellent customer service.

We went to Polkadots for a three tiered cake for our reception. My husband and I eloped and then had a reception here in Texas for family and friends. We did a tasting a few months in advance and ultimately decided on the mixed berries chardonnay and strawberry flavors for our cake. The cake was beautiful and it tasted amazing! We got a lot of compliments from our guests on the cake. Thank you to Olga for your hard work. You made our day really special for us.

My husband and I always liked going to Polkadots when we were in college at UT, and they were a great bakery to use for our wedding in Austin last year! Olga was great to work with at the tasting and confirming details before the wedding. They made a small cake (mixed berry chardonnay flavor with this white and light gray watercolor effect on the icing) and several kinds of cupcakes (red velvet, strawberry cream, and mixed berry chardonnay) for our wedding of about 75 guests. They also provided cake stands, which were easy for our family to return the next morning.

My husband and I attended UT and we made it a birthday tradition to treat each other to Polkadot cupcakes. When we got engaged, we had to pick Polkadots for our wedding. Olga and her team are extremely knowledgeable and gave us tips that kept us from over spending on our cake and cupcakes. On the day of, Olga was extremely thoughtful and set aside a to go box of cupcakes for us to take in our getaway car. We highly recommend Polkadots and will be placing another order with them for our first anniversary cake.

As a wedding planner here in Austin, I absolutely LOVE working with Olga at Polkadots Cupcake Factory! She is not only the sweetest, but her cake is freaking phenomenal! And I'm a total cake snob. At every wedding I work, I ALWAYS have to taste the cake. I send all my brides to Olga because I know her cakes are moist and come in so many fun flavors, you won't be able to pick just one. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding cake experience than I had with Polkadots! First, Olga brought out multiple cupcakes to try at the tasting which were all so amazing. We ended up going with the vanilla cake and buttercream because we couldn't decide between all of them! We had so many people tell us how great the cake was the day of the wedding. Also, I wanted a semi-naked cake so the flowers would really pop from it and it looked stunning! Highly recommend using Polkadots for any special event!

When we arrived for our tasting appointment she had more flavors than we had originally selected for us to taste, all of which were absolutely amazing. She did not oversell as her recommendations for size of cake was appropriate for number of guests. We had a 3 tier cake all of different flavors, cupcakes and cookies all devoured by our guests. The one year anniversary cake included option is also amazing. I wouldn’t look any further. This is the place!! Thank you Olga!!

The bride's cake came from Polkadots Bakery, and it was so delicious. I highly recommend them if you are planning a wedding! We had the vanilla cake with mixed berry chardonney and white chocolate buttercream fillings, and covered in vanilla buttercream. People were raving about how good it was! Highly recommend.

Scrumptious!!! All of my guests loved these cupcakes. They're exactly sweet enough, light and fluffy, and beautiful. Olga also set up the cupcakes in a picture-perfect display. The strawberry was our favorite flavor!

We opted for a two-tier main cake and then several dozen cupcakes to even out the serving count. I'm an avid baker and am known for cupcakes among friends, so there was no way we could serve less than amazing cake at our wedding. Polkadots absolutely did not disappoint. Guests raved about the cupcakes and began formulating plans to share with friends and spouses in order to try all the flavors. There's nothing like a friend saying "the tiramisu cupcake was amazing... and then I tried the honey and chai....which was somehow better!" to put a smile on my face and confirm what an excellent choice we had made in going with Polkadots.

Polkadots was amazing! We had decided on doing different desserts along a cake and were not disappointed. Everything turned out beautiful and delicious, our guests couldn't stop remarking how great they looked and tasted. We are so happy we chose Polkadots to make our wedding cakes! The bride's cake was simple and beautiful, and my husband loved the golf-themed groom's cake. We had a variety of flavors (chocolate, vanilla, mixed berries), and each was delicious. Working with Olga and Polkadots was a breeze. The tasting was fun, the paperwork was easy, and the delivery and set up of the cakes went off without a hitch. Olga was even so sweet as to make sure we had our own special dessert to enjoy after our wedding reception was over. We have already been back to Polkadots on several other occasions and look forward to including their delicious cakes/cupcakes in many more celebrations in the years to come!

Perfection! My husband and I had a full day of wedding cake tastings lined up and Polkadots was our first stop. Olga, the baker, brought out multiple cupcakes for us to sample and we were blown away by how tasty there were. We narrowed it down to 4 flavors and could not narrow it down any further because they were that good. Olga then offered to make the cake 4 tiers with each layer being a different flavor. It turned out phenomenal and was priced much more fairly than I was dreading. Needless to say, we cancelled all the other appointments for the day . Olga is a sweet, charismatic person and was easy to talk with. I am not much of the planner and this was my first wedding so I was clueless. She offered ideas and helped build my vision. The cake was simply gorgeous and our guests devoured it! She was even kind enough to call us a couple days afterwards to see how the wedding turned out. I would recommend her a thousand times over!

Polka dots did an amazing job on our wedding cake. We loved how it turned out. It was everything we wanted and more. The cake looked exactly like the picture we showed them. The cake was also delicious. We got so many compliments from our guests about the cake. Everyone thought it was delicious.

Polkadots has been my favorite cupcake place since I attended college at UT. I knew since sophomore year that I wanted them to make my wedding cake (before I even met my husband). Olga was extremely helpful, and our tasting was a lot of fun. We got the chardonnay mixed berry cake with vanilla icing and it was beautiful AND delicious. Most wedding cakes I've had at other weddings look great, but just taste okay. Polkadots is delicious. They also made us macarons, cupcakes, and cream puffs, all for a very good price. They even give you a complimentary mini cake on your anniversary! 100% satisfied with Polkadots, as expected!

We worked with Olga from Polkadots for our wedding cake. We decided to do a small cake for our cake cutting because my husband is gluten free, and Olga made it happen! It was exactly as I had pictured and tasted even better. I would highly recommend Polkadots for wedding cakes and/or cupcakes. Olga was easy to communicate with and I went in for the tasting with my little sister who happened to be in town, and Olga made us feel right at home the entire time.

I am convinced everything Olga does is perfect. She made us a semi-naked three-tier cake of our favorite flavor that is now retired from the menu (lemon blueberry). She even thought to leave the frosting white instead of the typical yellow so it looked like a wedding cake. We also had cupcakes on the side. Everything turned out looking gorgeous and rustic. I've had so many guests tell me how amazing the cake was. I have loved polkadots cupcakes for a long time, but I have to say their cake is even better. It was incredibly moist and the frosting is incredible-lots of real vanilla and so light and fluffy. Olga also brought up some cupcakes before the wedding started to snack on as we were getting ready. Love, love, love.

Olga is an incredible baker and so sweet. My groom, my family, and I are all gluten-free and she did an amazing job with our gluten-free dessert spread! I changed the order several times and Olga stuck with me each time and made sure everything was correct on my order. The desserts were absolutely beautiful and all of our guests were saying how delicious our wedding cakes were! Thank you, Olga!

Olga and her staff at Polkadots did an amazing job on the cake and cupcakes for our daughter's wedding. Her creation of a 6" cake with bark design and carved initials was just what the bride envisioned. It was vanilla, vanilla flavored and we also had 2 flavors of cupcakes, bordeaux berry and chocolate sea salt. They were all amazing! We tasted several other cupcake bakers, and the choice was easy, Polkadots is the best! Olga's cakes are very moist and flavorful. Even the vanilla is scrumptious!

I can't think of a better word to describe our experience with Olga than EFFICIENT. Being a Type-A, this is very important to me. Every part of my experience with her was so seamless and painless. Our tasting was so quick - Olga understood what we were going for and just ran with it. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she made our cake look even better. I received SO many compliments on how beautiful our cake was and just how delicious it was. I know many of our guests had a lot more than one slice on our wedding day. She even baked us cupcakes which we thoroughly enjoyed in our hotel room. Great service and beautiful work!

Olga is so friendly and talented. She did a beautiful wedding cake for us and her macarons were delish! I guess I overestimated how big of a cake we needed but believe me, the extra cake is not going to waste. Everyone loved the cake and desserts. Polkadots is by far the best cake I've ever tasted, I'm so glad we had them at our wedding! Olga made the most perfect tiered cake for us - I'm not really a sweets person, but her creation was divine. The cupcakes that they sell out of the shop are also fantastic!

Polkadots was not my first choice to make my wedding cake (only because I hadn’t discovered them yet), but after the first bakery I had been talking to (waiting 48 business hours per response) basically left me high and dry less than a month before the wedding, I reached out to Polkadots. Not only did Olga respond within an hour of my emailing them, they were quick to help me out in my time of need! Every time I shot an email their way, it was responded to lightning fast! I think the longest I ever had to wait for an email was 4 hours, communication was spot on! When we did the tasting we had such a hard time trying to figure out which flavor we wanted because they were all amazing! We ended up going with 2 different flavors, lemon blueberry and strawberry shortcake. There were so many compliments on how awesome the cake tasted! We were running a bit late on our wedding day and while Polkadots was trying to get set up, we realized we hadn't brought the cake stand, Ben was very calm and patient throughout the setup process. The cake was absolutely everything I expected, and he took time to make sure our decorations got on our cake correctly and looked beautiful. They were even sweet enough to give us a gift of 4 cupcakes in the flavors we had sampled during our tasting. We definitely ate those once getting back to the hotel room! I love that our first bakery fell through because we ended up finding the best place that truly made our wedding day amazing! I can't say enough good things about Olga and Ben. They knew exactly what I was going for and executed it perfectly!

Olga did my wedding cake for my 10/24/15 wedding in Austin. The tasting we did was so good! She made us a different flavor on each Tier. After our meeting she knew exactly what I wanted and when I finally saw it on my wedding day I never have been happier. I loved the textures on each layer. My cake was perfect and yummy!

We use Polkadots for all of our special occasions - birthdays, graduations. We were certain that we would use the bakery for our wedding. We met with the owner (Olga) about 6 months before the wedding to taste cake samples and to discuss our ideas were for the bride's and groom's cakes. We left her pictures of cakes we had seen in magazines that had the look we wanted. She delivered the cakes on our wedding day. The cakes were beautiful and so yummy. We could not ask for anything more to make our day so special.

Olga and the team at Polkadots created the most amazing dessert table and cake for our wedding. Instead of doing a groom's cake, she took my father-in-law's pineapple upside down cake and made mini cakes for us. Everything was delicious and our guests are still raving about the desserts.

After taste testing a couple of cupcakes from Polkadots, we immediately knew we wanted to get a variety of regular and mini cupcakes and cake pops from them for our mid-February wedding. Olga was so lovely to exchange emails with, and we ordered a variety of sizes and flavors. Olga’s sweet husband hand delivered the beautifully designed goodies to our wedding at The Plant in Kyle, Texas (which is wayyyy out there!) the morning of our wedding. He not only delivered them all intact down a seriously bumpy road, but lovingly set them up and styled them to perfection on our cake table. Polkadots was so thoughtful they even sent us a couple of other little treats that we promptly devoured before our ceremony ☺ We thought we ordered way too many, but to our delight our guests ate them all right up… with many admitting to devouring at least 3 of the delicious cupcakes!!! We can’t recommend Polkadots more highly for their quality, incredible customer service, and lip smacking satisfaction!!!

Let me start by saying we did a tasting at another popular wedding cake bakery in Austin and it NOWHERE near compared to Polkadots! Olga met us for the tasting and we were so blown away, that we ended up deciding to do 5 different cakes. Yes 5...bc the flavors were so incredible we couldn't narrow them down. I began to follow her on Instagram as well and I wish I lived in Austin bc she makes the most amazing cakes, cookies, macaroons, you name it. She is a true artist and her style is just as incredible as her baking skills. 10 stars not 5! The only wedding cake baker to choose in Austin (hands down)!!!

I used Polkadots Cupcake Factory for my wedding and everything was amazing! We did a dessert bar with 4 desserts. Olga and her team made us caramel macaroons, mini apple pies, snickerdoodle cookies, and pumpkin spice cupcakes. Everything was DELICIOUS! Our guests loved it all! She was so sweet throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend using Polkadots Cupcake Factory for you wedding or any other party or event!

Our wedding coordinator provided us with Polkadots on the vendor referral list she gave us. We narrowed it down because we heard they were more open-minded and less traditional about desserts, and very willing to use bright colors if we wanted them! We did a tasting and found multiple cupcakes we really liked. We did a small, two-tier cake and three types of mini cupcakes, each with a different flavor. We also did vanilla macarons in three colors. Everything was great! They showed up on time and although I barely got one bite of cake myself and no macarons, I heard everything was delicious from all my guests. The only minor negative is that payment wasn't the easiest. I couldn't do it online and every time I called the shop, Olga wasn't there and the other employees could never locate my order so we played phone tag for a while. Otherwise, great experience overall and I would definitely recommend Polkadots!

I have always gone to Olga for her delicious cupcakes over the past 3 years in Austin, TX after my twin introduced me to them. I have yet to find another cupcake place anywhere that is as yummy and appealing as Polkadots. My husband and I decided to have them cater for our wedding this month and we trusted that everything Polkadots made would be amazing. I rarely needed to contact her after the tasting because I knew she would get the job done. Well the day of our wedding, they set up and decorated beautifully and placed the desserts and cake along with our desserts we purchased on a vintage white buffet table (provided by our venue). We had a simple rustic buttercream two tier dulce de leche cake, mini cupcakes with red velvet, strawberry and cream, and dulce de leche, and coral and mint vanilla flavored macarons. Coral and mint were our colors and they did a perfect job of matching the colors with our theme. Everyone loved the desserts and although we didn't get a chance to indulge in the desserts (when does the bride & groom get to have a chance to rest and eat!??!), Olga packed us some cupcakes for the night. She was so sweet and we also found a thoughtful handwritten card after returning from our honeymoon. She was so helpful in knowing what I wanted, the tasting was a great experience, she took her time and did not rush us, and was professional and her desserts were outstanding! She is a genuine person and wants to get to know you personally and it will show on your wedding day. I highly recommend them to cater for any event or just go to their place to eat their cupcakes and cakes!! We used them via Crave catering for the Grooms cake and the Wedding cake. They made an amazing baseball stadium for the grooms cake and mine was a simple, very small cake that was beautiful. They also made cake balls for us to pass around the wedding. They gave us so many samples for the both the cakes and cake balls and then when my husband wanted a certain kind for his grooms cake, they made us a little mini cake for him to try. I do not like cake, nor do I eat it rarely, but theirs were amazing. They made mine just the way I wanted it, lots of icing and little cake. I was very impressed that I actually wanted to eat more after we cut it! I am not sure about the exact pricing since it went in with the caterer, but I believe it was affordable, even the fun grooms cake! :)

My husband and I are so happy we chose Polkadots Cupcake Factory to do our cakes. The main cake was exactly what I had envisioned and more. We did a strawberry cake and I feel like strawberry cake is one of the harder flavors to pull off. They did it beautifully. So many people have asked me about our cake, even months after the wedding! The groom's cake and mini cupcakes were perfect too! Olga is a delight to work with and her cakes are so flavorful and unique.
