Polly was the most wonderful vender we had for our wedding. From emails to the day of she was amazingly professional and personally. Polly made our wedding experience easy and beautiful! She knew out venue ( Armour house) perfectly and was able to tell us and be honest what we needed and didn't. She herself was so wonderfully refreshing and excited for us. Polly's professionals working for her did a wonderful job on set up- as the bride I didn't even know they were there! We rented candles, did a grand staircase and all the florals for church and bridal party. I couldn't recommend Polly's petals and Particulars more.

Polly helped create the most beautiful ceremony and reception space for my wedding! She is so knowledgeable about flowers! I knew I wanted a natural purple and pink look and she was able to give me so many choices. She did so much behind the scenes work of setting up the flowers and moving them from the church to the reception, it really made the day easy and enjoyable for not only me but my close family members as well. I would recommend Polly to everyone!

Polly was the florist for my sister’s wedding in 2015, and was highly recommended by my sister for my wedding this past weekend. Like my sister, I know nothing about flowers so I gave Polly a lot of creative freedom, and she came up with some great suggestions (based on the season, color scheme, Pinterest inspiration, etc). She is a great communicator and responds quickly to all emails (and communication in general; we just primarily communicated via email for lots of small details). We had multiple video calls with her throughout the planning process (my now husband and I don’t live super close to her office, so in-person meetings were challenging for us around our work schedules). She worked really well within our budget to give us everything we asked for, and she did not disappoint. Overall, she was easily one of the easiest vendors we worked with throughout our entire wedding planning process. Highly recommend!!

I've had several family members that used Polly's Petals in the past for their weddings so she came very highly recommended. From the beginning, Polly was very hands-on and really helped us talk out our vision for our big day. She was truly fantastic to work with and our ceremony decor, centerpieces and bouquets were just beautiful!

Polly's Petals was recommended by a family friend, and wow! Their floral creations were stunning! They transformed the gorgeous staircase at Armour House into an ethereal landscape. The Little Theatre, where the ceremony was held, had some gorgeous planters that were later relocated to the sweetheart table in the dining room. The centerpieces in the dining room were beautiful, and the fountain decoration in the garden room was out of this world. I absolutely loved my bouquet. It captured the prefect blend of wild romanticism, I felt. Highly recommend this vendor for your wedding! Very lovely to work with.

Polly did the florals for our wedding party and she was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was so knowledgeable and genuinely excited to be involved in our wedding day, which made it so easy to trust her expertise. She was also extremely flexible with all of the changes our wedding underwent due to COVID. She delivered exactly what I envisioned and I couldn't be happier with how our flowers turned out!

I discovered Polly through the wedding venue’s Instagram page, and I thought her work was really exceptional. Our venue was indoor/outdoor, with an on-site ceremony, and I wanted to accentuate the natural elements already present at the site, (it was an event space built into a forest preserve.) Polly knew exactly what I wanted and, because she knew the space so well, she had even better ideas for me than I could articulate. She knew exactly which flowers be in season, which is what I wanted, and what colors would work with those flowers so I didn’t blow out my budget. I even had a slight change of colors after our initial meeting and she was able to amend it. Something I also appreciated is that she re-used a lot of the florals from outdoors to indoors, so as to be a bit more budget-conscious. I would recommend Polly’s Petals and Particulars for any kind of wedding or event for which you need flowers.

Polly was simply awesome to work with. She did the flowers for my daughter’s wedding 3 weeks ago and I am still telling people how much I loved my florist! Polly made my daughter and I feel heard and she was patient with us as we sent pictures and went over the design plan multiple times! When I walked into the venue the morning of the wedding, the flowers that Polly had designed took my breath away! She exceeded my expectations which is really hard to do because I expect a lot from people! Thanks Polly for turning our venue into a beautiful place!

Working with Polly was a dream - I could not recommend her more. We had our first meeting over the phone since I live out of state. I could tell she was listening to my words, and she would bring up ideas that enhanced my own minimal thoughts. She drew up a super detailed design and was able to work some changes thereafter to fit my budget. Her team was on time in all their deliveries, and they came by to donate our extra florals at the end of the night. Our final florals were breathtaking, and she did a beautiful job of using greenery and leaves from the winter season, taking to heart my desires for elegance instead of rustic, which is so easy for winter florals to fall into. She was always available, even as an additional consultation for what tablecloths to pick at our venue to enhance the space with her florals. You will not go wrong picking Polly!

Polly and her team did our floral decor for our wedding on 6/10/2018 at Independence Grove in Libertyville. Everything was GORGEOUS. From the bouquets and boutonnieres to the aisle and chuppah, to the perfect reception decor. Polly took my initial ideas and created something more beautiful than I could have pictured. Entrusting the decor to Polly and her team is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Would highly recommend!

We worked with Polly from Polly Pedals and Particulars with the florals for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding at Independence Grove. She did an outstanding job on the flowers. We've received many complements on how stunning the flowers were. She's very detailed oriented, listens and doesn't rush you. She came up with some great ideas that we didn't even think of. Polly will work within your budget to make your flower bouquets & table arrangements absolutely beautiful. Also I've called Polly to have flowers delivered for birthdays and again she does a great job. Polly was an absolute pleasure to work with!

Love love love Polly! Highly recommend! She was super personable and so easy to work with. I felt like she knew exactly the look I was going for and accomplished it beautifully. We received more compliments than I can count - her arrangements were just absolutely perfect! She is definitely an artist because she takes your idea and makes it one hundred times better. She even made an extra boutonniere for my groom in case his started to wilt before the ceremony! I appreciate that Polly works independently because all meetings/contact is directly with her, she makes all the arrangements herself, and she does all the delivery and set-up! I truly couldn't have been happier, I will definitely use her again in the future.

Polly was fantastic!! When we met to discuss my vision, Polly was right on board coming up with even more ideas that pit perfectly with our theme. We had a reveal of the centerpieces a few months before the wedding, and we were blown away! They were absolutely gorgeous. Polly did an amazing job the day of the wedding, everything was set up perfectly. She even was able to help set up some additional decorations provided by us, which really helped us so much. And the best part is, Polly was able to stick to our budget without making any compromises in the beauty of the bouquets, centerpieces, or ceremony decorations. Initially we had a meeting about my vision, budget and color scheme. Polly was great with asking questions, looking at pinterest images and really understanding my vision. Several days after the meeting, Polly created a plan and sent back a proposal with the budget. Everything sounded great, but the budget was higher than what I was able to afford. Polly reconfigured some of the arrangements while still keeping my vision and got the budget to where I needed it to be. Day of everything was so beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

We had multiple issues with the florist that our venue typically works with, so we decided to try meeting with some other florists. I am so glad that we did because that's how we found Polly. In addition to the flowers being beautiful, she was friendly and helpful throughout the planning process.

There are not enough words to explain how fantastic and brilliant Polly is! She made all of my floral dreams come true! From our first meeting where I tried to explain all of my crazy ideas to the last minute emails leading up to our wedding day, she remained positive and encouraging. If you are planning a wedding, you need Polly as your florist! It was one of the best decisions I made! She is so sweet, easy to work with, knowledgeable, detail oriented, professional and BEYOND talented! I can be extremely picky...but, trust me when I say she will undoubtedly go above and beyond in exceeding all your expectations. From the moment I met her, I was at ease and knew I was talking to someone extremely talented. I gave her my rough "vision" for flowers, she listened and ran with it! Polly created the most stunning bouquets and centerpieces! They were more than I could've ever imagined. Everyone was drooling over the flowers and saying that they needed to be featured in bridal magazines. I received so many compliments throughout the day/night. Her flowers and work made my wedding so beautiful and I am forever grateful. I pressed so many flowers the next day to save, because my bridal bouquet was one of my favorite parts of the day and I was so sad to see it go! I truly cannot thank or recommend Polly enough!

We first met Polly at the Morton Arboretum when she was setting up for another wedding. Her decorations were beautiful, and she seemed like a great person to work with. Polly was the first vendor we met with. I watched how excited my bride and her family got when they were all bouncing ideas off each other. It just seemed like Polly was a natural fit for this wedding planning team. She was very easy to communicate with and embraced every idea that was brought forth to the table. She's also a very good listener, patient and understands that we have a budget. Please be open with her regarding this, very important. We met with 4 other vendors before choosing Polly, and one of the key aspects of her that really stood out from the others was how flexible she was with letting us bring our own materials, such as tiny vases and such for center pieces, as opposed to requiring (like the other vendors) to rent/purchase everything through her. This helped drive our costs down considerably, and she also worked with us in tailoring our vision until it aligned perfectly with what we could afford. On the day of, Polly delivered. Her service is top notch. She is somebody that you can count on to be one of your quarterbacks for the big day. Polly was so accommodating and helpful! I'm not a florist, and I sort of had an idea of what I wanted, but I didn't really know a) what was possible, or b) what it would really look like. I also didn't know what I could get for my budget - I had no idea what was reasonable for a certain amount of money. So I came to Polly with some really vague ideas and a number that in hindsight I realize was not totally realistic. I appreciate how much time she spent trying to understand me, my style, my vision, etc., and she really got it!! After talking, she sketched out some designs that she thought would work well with my vision for the day as a whole, and also what I had specifically asked for with regard to flowers (all I really told her was I wanted the tables to be a variety of tall arrangements, medium arrangements, and short/small arrangements with dark red and black as the primary colors). She sketched out super classy designs that would coordinate beautifully with my wedding colors (Champagne & Black). I didn't want any black flowers as I think those look really goth, but she coordinated black and champagne accents in with the red flowers really well. She came up with creative and beautiful bouquets that worked amazingly with my bridesmaids' dresses (my girls all wore something different, and I sent Polly pictures of all of their dresses). The center pieces were stunning, I got so many compliments! The process was great working with Polly. First we came up with the design - she showed me exactly what I wanted, even though I didn't even know exactly what I wanted! Then she sent me a proposed contract that was for exactly what we had talked about down to a T. She knew that it was over budget, but it was a great starting point for us. Then she met me at the venue and we talked about ways where we could get creative to cut costs. In the end, she came in right within the budget I gave her (which I know was pretty aggressive!) but I didn't feel like I had to sacrifice anything - we just got creative!! I loved working with her and would highly recommend her to any bride!!

I had one in person meeting with Polly where I told her my vision, budget and showed her a few photos, and from that she created reception décor that was far beyond on my expectations. I was nervous that I would not see anything beforehand, but in the end I was elated with the results. Polly stuck to my budget precisely and was totally accommodating with any changes I gave her along the way. Polly and her team delivered everything to the venue on day of and then brought our personal flowers to the hotel. At the end of the night they were back at the venue to pick everything up so I didn't have to worry about a thing. I would highly recommend Polly!

Polly is so fabulous!!! I had no idea where to start when it came to florists, let alone flowers! My mom's name is Polly which made it a little easier for me to narrow it down and make a decision! I was shocked to find out that you have to do a little bit of research on types of flowers before making an appt. I had 4 appts, and I learned a little more at each one about the types of purple and blue flowers. FYI - lisyanthis is the most gorgeous purple flower!!! I told Polly what I had in mind and she totally went with my vision. When I met with her at her house she had gone out of her way to save some flowers from a wedding she had just done to show me! It was such a special surprise, and it was great to see an example, it made me SO excited! I highly recommend Polly!! She is amazing to work with - delightful in emails, and quickly gets back to you. On the day of, I didn't see her that much. She had an assitant with her and I was out getting pictures, but when I came into the ceremony room it was picture perfect!! She kept it so clean and simple and classy for me. It was EXACTLY what i was looking for!!!

Polly does an outstanding job, and I would highly recommend her to anyone having a wedding in Chicago or north of the city. I met with her in the city once, where we discussed ideas, color scheme, types of flowers, etc. She was so easy to work with, and after our meeting, we were in close contact via email. She was GREAT with responding to emails within 1 day, and she has great attention to detail. She answered so many of my questions that were not even florist related!! During the stress of wedding planning, its so nice to work with a vendor with such a nice and positive demeanor. Plus since she is not located in downtown Chicago, the price was definitely right! (Her prices for a lavish 130 person wedding were $1000 less than her competition.) Closer to the wedding we went to her house for a trial, which was exactly what we wanted. By the time our wedding came, I felt like she was my friend. Everything was perfect.

Polly came recommended by my mother-in-law's colleague; we were very fortunate to have her as our florist. Throughout the always stressful wedding planning process, Polly was a constant source of calm, flexibility and professionalism. Quite simply, flowers were never a concern. We had a winter wedding, so Polly decorated the church utilizing mostly non-flower elements like pine cones. It looked extraordinary. Our guests commented on the uniqueness and beauty of the ceremony decorations. The key to successful wedding planning is finding vendors who can turn your ideas into reality, and fill in the gaps where something falls short. For that, you need to be able to trust your vendor's professional experience. We worked closely with Polly on reception decorations, but also told her to make additions where she saw necessary; and, if some problem arose, to just make a decision so we were not bothered on our wedding day. Sure enough, Polly discovered while setting up for our reception that our centerpieces did not work as we had planned. Polly came up with an alternative, on the spot, that looked great. In addition, her decorative "gap fillers" accentuated the room. Thus, we were able to enjoy our day without being burdened by wedding minutiae - starting in a wonderfully decorated sanctuary and ending it pleasantly surprised by Polly's intimate reception decorations.
