Polonia was so great to work with! They were on the list of approved vendors with our wedding venue, and I'm so happy we went with them. Brian was the main contact and always took care of the questions or needs we had with our order. We went with heavy appetizers for our wedding event, and he had great advice for what to get and how much of it. On the day of the event, the Polonia staff were on time and professional throughout. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious and there was more than enough for all of the attendees! We got lots of compliments on the food and had plenty of leftovers following the event. Overall, I'd highly recommend working with Polonia. The only constructive feedback I have is that it sometimes took a while for them to get back via email - calling or setting up a time to come into their office was the most effective way to get responses quickly. I will definitely be working with Polonia for my future catering needs though!

Polonia catering did an amazing job for our wedding. From the very beginning, they answered all of our questions. There were so many food options it was hard to choose. The food was delicious and we got so many positive reviews from our guests that they loved it.

I found Polonia because the Venue used them as one of their main vendors. I will start off by saying the food was really good! Everything that we had at the tasting was delicious, however we wound up choosing the Roast Beef Sirloin and the Chicken Boursin. The one thing that could have been better was the communication between myself and the vendor. It was sometimes confusing when it came to the tablecloths, linens, what was included, how many we needed, etc. Since everything was done via email (except the tasting), sometimes things got lost in translation. Other than that, the day of went off without a hitch! The Polonia staff the night of was very nice and professional!

As a coordinator I can not recommend anyone else more than Polonia. They are incredibly professional. They are caring. They are patient! It doesn’t matter who you work with through the process you are completely taken care of and they always go that extra step. It’s great to have good vendors for your couples. It’s a completely different level having a vendor you can fully trust and not have to “babysit” during the entire event. Let’s not forget the product that they serve out. It is absolutely amazing. It’s not your regular catering food. It’s like going somewhere amazing and having the best thing on the menu... except their entire selection is that level. (They can also adjust so many items to work for any allergies or diet) I just cannot express how much we love them as coordinators. I also used them personally for my own wedding. They are just that great.

Polonia did an amazing job with our wedding! We did buffet style for our farm style wedding and everything tasted amazing! Food was served steaming hot and tasted just as great as it did during our tasting!! Thank you Polonia!

Polonia catering was nothing short of amazing for our wedding. The various options available and services they provided made our day nothing short of perfect. The food and desert was delicious and one of the highlights our guests raved about. We also struggled hard to find someone to do our wedding cake but since we had such a good working experience with them, we entrusted for them to do our cake as well. Let me say first hand, it was the best decision. Not only did the cake designer capture our vision but was able to do what other bakeries said they couldn't. We came in with ideas but working with Mike made our experience less stressful as he was very accommodating and was able to work with us to see our vision from start to finish. Would highly recommend Polonia Catering for anyone looking for a stress free planning effort, delicious food, and various add-ons such a nitrogen infused ice-cream station, a Champaign or chocolate fountain, desert table, and many more fun exciting options to keep the party going.

Polonia was fantastic from start to finish. From our first phone conversation all the way thru to the wedding, Mike and his staff were excellent. They answered every question, took care of every detail and helped make our day worry free. The tasting was a huge help in selecting the food and the ice cream. Polonia's familiarity with our venue was a huge help in making the day and night go so smoothly. The ice cream cookie sandwich bar was a hit with everyone and the food was fantastic. We had numerous guests tell us how much they enjoyed the food and how great the staff was. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a catering company for any event.

It was a pleasure working with Polonia Catering for our wedding at the Rialto Theater in September 2019. We and our 200 guests loved the flavorful and tasty hors d’oeuvres (margarita pizza, chicken wings, pulled pork with corn bread, and beef empanadas), family style 3 entrée dinner (Jamaican jerk style chicken, pan seared tilapia with mango salsa, grilled lamb with rosemary sauce with sides, mac n cheese, green beans, grilled vegetables, rice and beans), and late night snack (mini angus burgers and mini turkey croissants). The variety cheese cake bite platter was delicious and our guest enjoyed the nitro ice cream station featuring cookie n cream and salted caramel ice cream with choice of toppings. I didn’t hear any complaints about the food or service. Service staff had all tables served and cleared promptly without being intrusive. Michael was very helpful in the menu planning. Polonia menu has great variety to choice from and they are flexible when it comes to ensuring their food meets their client’s expectations; we had additional seasoning added to the chicken, the lamb cooked to a slightly passed medium and added an awesome rosemary sauce, per Michael’s suggestion. The food was consistent with what was prepared for our tasting. Polonia pricing is very reasonable and payments are easily made via online payments links sent with invoices. We highly recommend Polonia for any catering event and will be using again for any future catering events!

Everything they did was wonderful. We had family style, and the food was well prepared and hot. The roast sirloin of beef was outstanding. The chicken, mashed potatoes, veggies all delicious. We had Mike and the team at Polonia cater our wedding on 9/6/19 and we could not have asked for a more perfect outcome. The food was delicious and all of our guests loved it. Mike was extremely responsive and informative throughout the entire process from prior to our first tasting up until the day of. The team provided set up and take down of tables and chairs at our venue on the day of which was huge and Mike was there on site the whole day and asked multiple times if we needed anything, including the smallest thing like a bottle of water before the ceremony, which was awesome. We also asked them to make us a cake last minute and sent them a picture of what we envisioned and it turned out spot on. If I could give Polonia 10 stars I would. Thank you Mike and the Polonia team for making the day perfect.

Polonia Catering catered my wedding reception. First off they have a huge menu and great variety of food. We also did the tasting which I was so glad we did because it really helped narrow down exactly what we were looking for. The tasting itself was amazing and hands down sealed the deal. Michael was so professional throughout the entire experience. The day of the team went above and beyond. I received numerous compliments on the food. First off it was delicious. Secondly the staff was so through. They were so attentive. And made sure the tables were set up before the party. And helped with even small things like turning on my led candle lights. I truly appreciate everything your team did. Secondly we hired the bar staff through Polonia Catering as well and let me tell you they were equally as amazing. They keep the drinks cold and flowing. And they were so nice and fun. I loved them both. Everyone complimented your entire staff and food. Thank you so much for making stressful event run so smoothly. Polonia Catering was one of the best decisions we made. From the beginning they were prompt at returning phone calls as well as walking us through the details of our day. Family and friends are still raving about the quality of the food that was served at our reception. You will not find another caterer with fair pricing and quality all in one.

I just wanted to take a minute to express my gratitude and let you know how happy we were with Polonia Catering. Polonia catered our wedding, including appetizers, the meal itself, linen rentals, and ice cream. The food was all excellent, but the Nitro ice cream station really blew us away! On behalf of my new wife and myself, I would encourage anyone and everyone to check out Polonia catering's menu. Mike did such a great job of offering us the best food for the best price. I highly encourage you to do the taste testing. You will not be able to choose which food is the best because they are all the best. Mike and his staff made sure everything was absolutely perfect for a wedding the first time. Mike did such a great job of going over all of our options making wonderful suggestions to make our a super-special. I can't say enough about the wonderful things that. They were very attentive to everything. They did offer us the option of packaging up any extra food to either give away or for us to take home. Unfortunately the food was so fantastic that there was none left. Are guess raved about the food, the place settings, and a wonderful time that they had. Polonia Catering is a above the rest. They let you create your event and support you every step of the way. We had an outdoor Garden Party on June 30, 2018, 96 degrees, 100 guests. We rented tent, table, chairs, bar & bartenders, coolers and a popcorn machine. Cold food was cold, hot food was hot! The entire team at Polonia should be complimented for their professional service and warm caring style.

Polonia Catering went above and beyond for our wedding! All details were carefully ironed out before the wedding which made the day of our wedding run so smoothly! Michael Machay was extremely helpful and tried to bother us as little as possible so that we could enjoy our wedding day! I would highly recommend Polonia to any couple!

I couldn’t recommend them more. Great food and value for money. They did the catering for my wedding. Michael stayed until the end of the wedding to make sure we get the extra food and that everything is ok. It was really a great pleasure working with Polonia! Would use them again for next event.

We had trouble finding a caterer that would accommodate to our “fun food” requests. Polonia did not disappoint nor judge in terms of formalities or traditions. The grilled chicken and burger sliders were to die for and we received endless compliments on the passed hors d'oeuvres. Especially the roasted red pepper quiche bites and grilled cheese w/ tomato soup shooters. Food was fresh and hot and the actual serving caterers were prompt, polite and matched our laid back attitudes. No complaints here.

Michael and staff made our wedding GREAT! Polonia catered the food for our wedding at the Rialto Square Theatre on 8/18/18. From start to finish everything was wonderful from the food, the service everything ! Michael was such an amazing person to work with, he answered any question I had any idea I had everything so well and professional. Will highly recommend Polonia to friends && family !

Upon our search for caterers, Polonia put together a nice proposal that aligned with our budget, so we decided to do a tasting. The tasting was good and the food was what it was. We didn't love everything, but we liked it enough. I had a few additional questions and we were told that we needed to decide soon, as the date we want, is filling up and people are requesting it. Our tasting was in October and our wedding was not until the following July. I spoke with and dealt solely with Mike and I went over a lot of questions before putting down the down payment. I was completely dooped with Polonia. We scheduled a walk-through with my venue and at that time came the initial "nickel and diming". Mike said they would need to charge me extra to "take out or remove the garbage". We were told that water service was not included and that our guests could get "bottle water at the bar", and to have the waitstaff actually pour the water, was going to cost us extra in addition to paying for each water goblet. I had asked if they would do any unique set up with the food and or decor, which they would not, and pretty much it was going to look like banquet instead of wedding food. With all the extra nickel and diming that was occurring, we would be WAY over budget, not to mention the distrust and not forthcoming with this information BEFORE we put down the down-payment. We decided to look for a new and different caterer. We fell in love with a new caterer who was upfront about everything, their food was amazing and their setup and decor was fantastic. I reached out to Polonia to get our down payment back and they said they would not. I corresponded with Mike and he finally told me, that if they "book another wedding for the day" then they would refund me the money. Little did we know, they do multiple events a day so beware! They never refunded our money and I DO NOT recommend Polonia. Do not ever let anyone tell you, your date is in demand, as it is a selling tactic.

When we went for our tasting at Polonia, they served us at a set and clothed table. Very nice. Also, Parmesan & Garlic Roasted Potatoes are totally awesome! Salad looked lovely. The crew did a fine job setting up, keeping the food plentiful, and putting the food away.

It was very important to us, when we were planning our wedding, that the food be fantastic. After our tasting at Polonia, we knew they were the best choice. Everything we tried was delicious! It was hard to choose just a couple entrees, but we ended up going with the short rib, wild rice stuffed chicken, and pasta for our guests to choose from. Polonia provided all the linens we needed, as well as the china settings, and serving staff. We were very appreciative that they accommodated a "secret dinner" that we, the bride and groom, had immediately after our ceremony; especially that they saved us appetizers from cocktail hour! The short ribs were delicious, the chicken was delicious, and we received so many compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed their dinner. Polonia was also very accommodating for a few of our guests who have dietary restrictions and needed special gluten-free meals - we received rave reviews on those! We also chose to have a Sweets Table that included macarons, cream puffs, mini cheesecakes, brownies, and cookies - all to die for! We will definitely be using Polonia again for any future catered events!

My son and daughter in law wedding was so amazing that it is hard for me to put into words! Polonia Catering made the difference! Brian, the owner, gives one on one attention to his customers, everything is extremely professional and your guest will be in awe at the food they are eating. We have used Polonia for so many things in the past, celebrations from 25 to over 500 and we have never been disappointed. Something as simple as a lunch for my daughter dance team to holiday party for 500 employees (all three shifts) is seamless for this company. There were so many things that we would have left out or spent additional money on, but our initial meeting with Brian, he found us savings. Brian also customized the package so we were able to get what we wanted for the guest, he helped with the color scheme, and provided the little things. The set up and the clean up, we didn't even know it was happening, his team was in and out that quick. There was even follow up after the wedding to make sure it was exactly what we expected. I think what makes Polonia Catering stand out is that they are family owned, they know what the expectation is, you actually feel like part of their family. You cannot go wrong with Polonia Catering.

We are so glad we used Polonia to cater our wedding! They were definitely a full-service operation and gave us many great options, from table service to linens to chair covers, not to mention their great food, to make our reception a beautiful success! We were very pleased with the staff and their efficiency in serving and bussing tables and keeping everything moving along. We also had some vegan guests, and they worked hard to ensure that there were plenty of options for them as well. Would highly recommend!!

They were very easy to work with and everything the day of was perfect. The servers were very generous and helpful and constantly making sure all of the guests and myself were taken care of. I have had multiple people ask me who did the catering because they had not seen service like that at a wedding before. They are very cost effective and we would definitely use them in the future for other events.

We used Polonia for our wedding and let me tell you, they are great! Communication with Brian regarding tasting (huge portions) was easy from the start and he was always prompt with returning emails. They handled our appetizers, dinner, cake, dessert, and late night and everything was flawless. We did the flambe donut holes and the taco bar for late night - the donuts were made in front of us and the tortillas were warmed at the taco station. The servers were very attentive and made sure we had everything we need. They were professional and on top of it - our cups were never empty and we had PLENTY of food. I would definitely recommend them to others !

We used them for our recent wedding and cannot stress how absolutely amazing everything was. The food was incredible (we did family style service) and the service was top notch. The entire process we were treated like we were family to them. They took the time to do so many extras that made our wedding absolutely perfect. Polonia was amazing to work with! We wanted a pizza buffet at our wedding and they delivered! Everyone loved the flatbread pizzas, but the pasta chef station was the big hit! Everyone was raving about it! People were taking seconds before they finished their first serving! The fire alarm actually went off during dinner and no one got out of the pasta line! That's how good it was!! The Nitro Ice Cream station was amazing as well! Everyone loved it. Staff was awesome to work with!! I would highly recommend!!

We had Polonia cater our wedding and we were so blown away by the excellent service, communication and reliability of the staff. We had SO many compliments on our family-style dinner and they went above and beyond to pack a large tray of leftovers for my husband and I to take with us in the limo upon leaving the wedding. We used Polonia for our food, ice cream, and some rentals for our wedding. We absolutely loved our experience, no regrets. The staff are amazing to work with, the invoice and payment system is easy to work with. And the food.....wow the food was unbelievable. We had so many comments from our guests about the food. The people at Polonia are amazing they helped every step of the way and might I add they offer the ABSOLUTE BEST FOOD I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED AT A WEDDING!! My wife and I have had more than 25 guests contact us about Polonia because they loved the food so much!

Polonia was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. The food was very important to us, and we really wanted a pig roast. They walked us through everything step by step, were very patient with all of our questions, special requests and helped us achieve the party we envisioned. All of our guests raved about how good the food was that day and are still raving months later. They told us it was the best wedding food they have ever had. If you want a superb meal at your wedding and your guests to be satisfied Polonia is the choice!

Overall, the experience was all right. I felt Polonia was unorganized because there were multiple times my invoice was not correct. The food is reasonably priced. However, the "extras" are ridiculously overpriced. I sent multiple e-mails regarding a high chair for the ceremony, and the day of the wedding there was no high chair. My coordinator had to go to her own home to bring her personal one. I felt the service crew the day of the wedding were very polite and did a good job throughout dinner.

As a bride-on-a-budget (under $15k for EVERYTHING for the wedding), it was important for me to determine the most important aspects of the wedding which deserved the most investment. My two choices for that were catering and photography. We had a unique, small wedding of 75 guests on a rooftop in Chicago and hosted a cocktail style reception. All of our catered food was passed hors d'oeuvres. We chose simple foods (sliders, grilled cheese, quesadillas, mini cheese pizzas, etc.) and my favourite was the BBQ pulled pork on a corn fritter. I wouldn't say the food 'blew my mind' but it satisfied our classic tastes and I was more concerned about the quality of the cupcakes- which were purchased from a separate bakery. The service of the catering staff from Polonia was above and beyond my expectations. The catering staff at my wedding was incredibly friendly and helpful in every way possible. I couldn't have asked for a more warm and friendly crew. I also rented twenty white folding chairs, five cabaret cocktail tables, and five tall boy tables along with tablecloths and sashes chosen from a wide range of color options so that the ones I got matched my wedding colors perfectly! The staff arrived plenty early to get it all set up exactly where and how we wanted it and they did it all with a smile. My entire experience with Polonia was extremely positive and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for great service at a great price.

Polonia help to make our wedding dreams a reality. Holly and Brian were so easy to work with. Since we had a lot of out of town guests we decided to have our ceremony and reception in the same place with around 150 people and it was perfect. We a had cocktail hour in the front garden. Then we went to the reception on the west side of the grounds to a tented room. They did such an amazing job making everything just flow so seamless. The food was excellent ! We received lots of great reviews from our guest.I came to Polonia with a lot of ideas and every time I emailed Holly or Brian asking if I could do this instead of that they would always make it happen! Both are a dream to work with. They are organized, energetic, and you can tell they really enjoy making every wedding what the Bride and Groom wants!! I had so many guests after our wedding compliment the venue/food/service/ Music overall good time they had all. Thanks so much Polonia ( Holly, Brian and staff) for making it a wonderful event!!! They can do it all!

The most talked about thing from our wedding reception was the food! Everyone raved at how good the food was and how great the service was from Polonia. We did a buffet dinner with several entree choices including the brisket and chicken parmesan which were absolutely delicious. All the other details that Polonia handled for the reception went very smoothly including the set up, the linens, and even the extras like the cocktail tables we rented to put on an outdoor patio at the venue. However, my personal favorite was the ice cream options! We did a mix in station after dinner and it was such a fun and unique thing to have at a reception. The staff at Polonia were extremely friendly and professional and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend them and I felt that the prices were very reasonable especially with the amount of food we have. Overall I was very pleased with my experience with Polonia.

Not only did I use Polonia for my own wedding, I now host weddings at Konow's Farm and refer them to everyone. They are our number 1 vendor. I would never recommend a vendor if I did not like them or if their quality of service was not exceptional. Polonia is always on time, food is always just right, their service is top notch and the pricing is perfect for all types of weddings. I obviously think the world of them if I recommend them to all my brides and grooms. I do not stamp my name to any vendor, but for Polonia I would and do! They provide the coolest plates and real silverware. I have used them for over 15 events already and plan to continue to use them for every event we host at the farm, not to mention my own personal events. Best service, food and management around!!!
