Pond House Cafe

We had a great time at the Pond House for our wedding! The decor that is already pre-determined in addition to the natural beauty of the pond and Garden Room itself was a perfect fit for my husband and I. The food quality is great. The outdoor ceremony area is well organized and very convenient. Additionally, our coordinator Leslie (which you have 3 visits with), was terrific! The downside is that there are food and beverage minimums as well as service charges, which, as with many venues, can get pricey. Additionally, a personal wedding coordinator is recommended as their are things you don't anticipate needing or just don't have a good idea on how to decide what is best (the logistics of getting personal decor to the venue, timing of first look photos and what additional family photos should be taken, officiant logistics, who should give speeches). Overall I would highly recommend the Pond House and want to have my anniversary party here!:)

Our wedding at The Pond House Café was absolutely incredible. The venue is stunning, and the food exceeded every expectation. We had countless guests tell us that the short rib was the best meal they’ve ever had in their lives. The ice cream bar was also a huge hit and such a fun, memorable touch (it might even be one of the highlights of my life—aside from marrying my best friend, of course!). We had about 110 guests, and the dance floor was full the entire night. The atmosphere was lively, elegant, and filled with joy. We were initially nervous to learn that another wedding was scheduled right before ours (we had a Friday evening celebration in July), but the staff handled the transition flawlessly. Everything was spotless and beautifully set up—you would never have known another event had taken place earlier that day. About a month before the wedding, our coordinator changed, which understandably made us anxious, but it turned out to be such a positive change. Leslie was outstanding—professional, organized, and incredibly calm under pressure. She handled every detail perfectly and made the entire day feel effortless. Because of the extreme heat, we had to move our ceremony indoors, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. One moment that really stood out to us was how accommodating and thoughtful the staff were when a few guests canceled last minute—they actually offered to pack up those meals for us to take home. I’ve never heard of a venue doing that before, and it spoke volumes about their kindness and attention to detail. The Pond House Café exceeded every expectation and helped create a day we’ll never forget. I would wholeheartedly recommend this venue to any couple looking for exceptional service, delicious food, and a breathtaking setting.

We recently had our wedding reception at the Pond House and it was nothing short of amazing. The staff at the Pond House, especially, Charlene, Diana and Alissa, just went above and beyond for us. Alissa, our wedding day of coordinator, was very personable, professional and detailed. She was so on top of everything and very communicative leading up to the big day. She ensured that everything ran smoothly and that we were all well taken care of! She also did a wonderful job helping our garden wedding vision come to life! Besides, the amazing staff, the venue itself was just stunning with the beautifully decorated banquet hall, bringing the outside beauty inside. We loved having our cocktail hour outside on the terrace and then the remainder of the reception in the main hall. The food was absolutely delicious! From the perfect cocktail hour bites to the buffet options (people raved about the beef tenderloin and nut encrusted salmon!) to the drinks, they hit it out of the park. As foodies ourselves, we were so happy to have such tasty food (which is tough to find when serving 100 people!). Overall, we would highly recommend the Pond House for the attentive and generous staff, amazing atmosphere and fantastic food.

This is the best memory me and my husband are ever going to have in our whole lives. This had the best value we could find, the best service, and the beauty of this place is outrageous. We had such good help from the staff (shout out to my personal coordinator, you know who you are girl,❤️❤️❤️) the food was amazing, and there was so much space for guests to roam around in the pond, House Café, and in the gardens outside. Thank you so much for giving us our dream wedding.🥹❤️❤️❤️💍

My husband and I had our wedding reception here back in May. We had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! Our coordinator, Leslie, was extremely attentive to detail, flexible and tremendously helpful with every part. The food was spectacular - all the guests raved about it! The staff made the room look stunning and it all came out even better than we imagined it. All the staff were friendly and professional. We truly cannot thank them enough for helping us put together an amazing evening.

We had our wedding at the Pond House a couple weeks ago and it was a great experience! Our coordinator, Jessica, and the whole team really made the day seamless and stress free. The food was fantastic and the service day of was so fast. No one had to wait long for dinner. Here are some specs about what was included in our Friday wedding ($15k food and beverage minimum for 2025): - Plated meals for 78 - Cake from local bakery (Cakes by Donna) - Top shelf open bar & a signature drink - DOC - White or Ivory linens and napkins - 7 passed apps during cocktail hour - a mashed potato bar and Mac and cheese bar - Tons of included decor We also did our ceremony here (for a fee) and it was beautiful despite being rained out. I definitely recommend doing the ceremony through them rather than one of the Elizabeth park pavilions. The Pond House has a beautiful inside space in case of any weather. Jess worked with us all year to make sure things were laid out right. She was quick on her feet and had great suggestions day of too! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a relatively affordable, but still beautiful and traditional wedding. Two notes for prospective brides: 1. This is a smaller venue. I would say it starts to get crowded with 120 people. If you are looking for a 150+ guest wedding, I think this would be a little too small. 2. The venue has seasonal decor up, always. Personally, I love their decor (rustic chic) but for brides who want more control over decor this may not be for you.

Cannot say enough nice things about this place, and strongly recommend it for people who want a relaxed semi-outdoor wedding with good food. We had both ceremony and buffet-style lunch reception at the Pond House and it was such a smooth experience, even with our short planning timeframe of ~4 months. So lovely to be able to have the ceremony on the outdoor balcony overlooking the pond, and just have everybody go inside for the reception as we took photos around Elizabeth Park. They have a really varied menu and our choices were mostly delicious (the mini desserts were SO GOOD). Our package came with a wedding cake, which was customizable and also great-tasting! It's clear that they host plenty of weddings, since you don't need to worry about little things like stands for your signage or cake-cutting knives -- they've got you. Notes: - I'm grateful that they do microweddings, but the banquet hall felt a bit big for our guest list of ~35 once the dance floor opened. A list of at least 50 people would probably fill it better! - If you have a specific vision for the aesthetic of your wedding, note that the banquet hall comes pre-decorated in a rustic-chic-floral style (specifics change with the seasons). We personally didn't care too much about the decor as long as it looked nice, so this worked very well for us. - Special shout out to our venue coordinator, Jessica, who truly had us covered on the day itself. <3

Beautiful place with great food!

Great experience working with the Pond House in the year leading up to our wedding in December 2024. Charlene was responsive and helpful during our initial inquiries into the venue and Leslie was wonderful with planning and executing our details the day of. Every last detail came together seamlessly. Quick replies to quick questions and sudden changes in our guest list. Our guests continue to comment that it was some of the best food they have ate at a wedding. Sales staff worked with us to ensure we'd meet the minimum right before booking our event. It would've been more helpful to plan out realistically what we were going to pay (adding bar, an app table, etc.) so that the final cost was most consistent with initial conversations. But all in all my husband and I wouldn't change a thing and recommend the Pond House with no reservations. Thank you for a night to remember!

I knew our Pond House wedding would be wonderful, but nothing could have prepared me for the absolute dream come true that it was. Every detail was flawless and every staff member was kind and helpful. Cassy was incredible as our coordinator! Despite rain shaking up some of our plans, my husband and I were completely stress-free because of her organization and professionalism. I didn’t have to worry about a thing! Months later, I am still receiving compliments on the food from our wedding. I don’t have words for how amazing everything was! The Pond House is a stunning venue that provides so much with their service. At other venues you get a bare-bones conference room for your reception space. Not at the Pond House! Twinkle lights, florals, and stunning drapery are already in their reception space, included at no extra charge. My wedding day was truly the happiest day of my life, thanks to the Pond House!

We got married at the Pond House last night, and everything exceeded our expectations! Leslie, Diana, and the entire team made sure our wedding was beautiful, organized, and ran smoothly from start to finish. Leslie was incredibly hands-on with the coordination and made sure nothing was missed. The food was delicious, the space was stunning, and our guests had a blast. We would HIGHLY recommend considering the Pond House for your wedding or party plans!

10/10 would recommend. Pricing was transparent and reasonable. We are a lesbian couple, and many of our guests are also queer and trans, and our experience was that this venue was welcoming and affirming. Our Wedding Coordinator Leslie Bates was very organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and a joy to work with. She took care of so many important details leading up to as well as on the day of our wedding. The Pond House staff did an amazing job with decorating so that we could focus only on the pieces that most mattered to us: centerpieces and flowers. The wedding decor was customized to our needs, and we also didn't have to DIY more than we wanted to. The catering staff did an amazing job also. This venue is a restaurant as well, so the food was exquisite and personalized to our guests' dietary needs. We even got to have a soft serve ice cream bar to cap off the night! We had 110 guests, and this venue was the perfect size for what we wanted: an intimate outdoor summer ceremony on the terrace looking out at the pond and a delicious dinner and night of dancing inside afterward.

The Pond House Cafe is a magical wedding venue filled with the most caring and hard-working people! The space itself is beautiful and so dream-like with the twinkle lights and incredible views of Elizabeth Park. The staff is incredible. A coordinator gets assigned to you 6 months out and helps walk you through everything that needs to be done prior to your big day. Leslie was great leading up to my wedding and made sure all my questions were answered. Diana is also so fantastic. She oversees everything going on during the event and truly makes sure every detail is perfect. I appreciated her dedication, from keeping us on track with the timeline, to making sure my wedding party and parents had appetizers brought to us when we were missing parts of cocktail hour. The venue is so flexible with whatever you dream of. Even when things sounded like it wasn’t usually something they do, somehow the Pond House found a way to meet every request I made. They really do go above and beyond to make your vision come to life. For everything being included, the Pond House weddings are extremely reasonable. I searched a while for a beautiful venue that was within my budget, and the Pond House had it all! Everything is included, from day-of coordinator to the wedding cake. I loved that it was basically a “one-stop shop” and that they handled all aspects of the reception. The food is truly incredible; take it from someone who never enjoys wedding food but actually loved everything I tried at the Pond House. The bar packages are very reasonable, and the bartenders are so fast! There was never a line to get a drink. I was worried about where to have my ceremony- but the Pond House truly has it all. For a fee, they set up the outside terrace for your ceremony and it overlooks a pond with a water feature! It’s so picturesque! I couldn’t have asked for a better venue staffed with any better people! Pond house: thank you for giving Mike and I the wedding of our dreams!

Where to even start...Pond House was incredibly easy to work with through the entire wedding planning and execution process. They strike the perfect balance between hosting weddings often and making you feel special and personally cared for - especially our venue coordinator Leslie. She is attentive, detail-oriented, very professional, and you can tell she knows the wedding process like the back of her hand, which is incredibly comforting. They worked with us on all our unique requests like sourcing specific alcohol for the bar and incorporating Lebanese drummers onto the dance floor. The venue is all-inclusive in terms of food, drink, tables/linens, yet it gives you the freedom to chose your own vendors (DJ, photographer, florist) which gave us the perfect balance of an easy planning experience without feeling like our hands were ever tied. The venue itself is also gorgeous - it's in the beautiful Elizabeth Park, has a cute patio for outdoor ceremonies, and the reception room is breathtaking with its decorations, twinkly lights, and massive windows. You could tell our guests were in awe of the beauty of the room when they first stepped inside! To add to everything great about the venue, the food and drinks are delicious and at a reasonable price point for the high quality and volume you get. Our guests raved about the hors d'eourves, the buffet (especially the beef tenderloin and eggplant parm), and the signature cocktails (s/o to the strawberry basil vodka lemonade). And of course the butlered mini desserts hold a special place in my heart. All in all, we cannot recommend this venue enough if you're looking for an easy, all-inclusive wedding experience with a classy, garden vibe and delicious food.

If you want your guests to talk about the food, the beautiful venue, and your cake (CakesbyDonna) after your wedding: book the Pond House. The staff at the Pond House went above and beyond every single one of our expectations leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day. The Pond House gives you a coordinator that you meet with up to four times before the wedding date. They are incredible organized, helpful, and communicative. They make the process fun and the stressful parts smooth. An added bonus, they are very explicit about the pricing. We did not meat our minimum because our guest count was lower than anticipated. Leslie, our coordinator, gave us all our options, and made sure we stayed near the $10,000 minimum. We were able to increase the ounces for the meat, upgrade our drink package, and add chocolate covered strawberries to be passed around near the end of the night.

Beautiful setting and great food. Recommend to hire your own wedding planner to work with the Pond House wedding coordinator, especially if you are brand new to wedding planning.

From the moment we saw the venue I knew it would be perfect for our big day. The staff from start to finish was so kind and accommodating and really made us feel like the prince and princess of the day! The venue was stunning and the food was amazing, we heard from guests all night about how beautiful the room was and how great their dinner was! We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to experience such a special day and we will also be thankful to Leslie and the team for all they did to make our day a dream come true! If you’re considering the pond house for any event my husband and I could not recommend it enough!

The first time I visited the Pond House I absolutely fell in love with it. It was decorated for the holidays and it felt so magical. We knew right away that this was where we wanted to get married. Two years later we got married here on 1/5/2024 and I just can’t stop thinking about how amazing it was! My guests all night kept saying how it was one of the prettiest venues and funnest weddings they’ve ever been to. How it was stunning and felt so magical. I have an old school Italian family and was so worried about the food because they can be such critics but omg. People RAVED about it. I had my rehearsal dinner here as well. Each food item better than the next. They have so many different options to choose from to satisfy and also accommodate dietary needs. The servers and bartenders were professional, hard working, personable, and so kind. My wedding coordinator was attentive, always replied quickly, never made me feel like a bother, and her professional opinion was always appreciated. I wish I could relive that night over and over. I can’t recommend this venue enough. 🖤

The entire Pond House staff was experienced and professional. Although they have weddings every weekend, they truly made us feel special. As an LGBT couple, the Pond House made every conscious effort to make us feel comfortable, welcomed, and valued. If there were any hiccups the day of the event, we didn’t hear about them!
