Building the Vision
Ponderosa Mountain Venue is the passion project of local couple Ronnie and Denise, who turned their longtime dream into a stunning celebration space after raising their family on the property. Leaning on a background in design and craftsmanship, they created a venue that would showcase their wooded wonderland and breathtaking views to the world. Every element of the venue reflects their commitment to preserving the natural beauty of the land and sharing their mountain sanctuary with couples celebrating the next chapter of their love story.

Meet the team
Denise & Ronnie
Owners
Ronnie & Denise are locals to the area, growing up in Greenland Arkansas in the 80s. They married while in school and have been together ever since. Denise graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville Arkansas and is currently teaching in the Greenland school system from which she graduated. Ronnie has always worked in fabrication, design and maintenance. Through the years they shared a growing vision that involved turning their home of 25 years into something that could be used, cherished, and make memories for any and everyone who came.
Ronnie used to live about ½ mile away and tried to get his friends and buddies to buy it. The 50-acre parcel was completely wooded, and his friends and buddies didn’t see the same vision as Ronnie and his wife, Denise did. So Ronnie & Denise sold their property just down the road and bought the 50-acre parcel of wooded magic that held their vision for the future. They built their 2500 square feet home and raised three wonderful children.
Now that the kids are grown and out on their own it was time to make their vision of more than 25 years ago come to light. Now it was time to build the wedding venue and event center they had dreamed about years ago. It was time to share their wooded wonderland & breath-taking views with the world. Time to make the best memory-making place in the world available to everyone for their weddings, or special events.
