Pope Event Rentals

o unload the hundreds of rented items including chairs, tables, etc. My husband had to actually help unload it all even though he had other important wedding tasks to be working on. Most of the chairs were dirty, with what looked like dried cake icing and punch on them. All of the tables were covered in dirt and some of them were very wobbly and unstable, tables that would be serving as wedding cake tables. The lights we rented had several burnt out and broken bulbs. And the stanchions had red clay covered chains and wobbly, paint chipped posts. My mother called their office upon discovering all this and was met with rudeness and accusations that we were over exaggerating by the receptionist. Eventually my mother spoke with the owner and he finally came out to the wedding site, bringing new tables and attempting to fix the light situation. He tried to make it right but overall it was a huge set back for setting up for the wedding which made the wedding decor suffer greatly because of the shortness on time from the delays. For the cost of everything, it wasn't worth all the trouble we went through.
