s didn’t have to share on a grazing table - as part of our 4 appetizer offering at cocktail hour. The owner was our event manager and the genuine sincerity she had for us made my heart melt! It was slightly chaotic getting everything organized with rentals and tastings, but that was probably because we had a shorter timeline than most. The only reason I’m docking a star is that we had coordinated that my *now husband* and I would get all of our appetizers saved from cocktail hour and delivered to us with dinner, so we declined all of the passed appies at cocktail hour, but then we didn’t actually get any appetizers with dinner and I was SO looking forward to having them since you can’t try appies at your tasting trial. Other than that, everything went off without a hitch and our guests LOVED our bartenders! I’ll admit, I never got to even see our bartenders since people kept bringing me drinks, but I heard awesome things!

ood quality and service is one you would get with only the highest-end caterers. It's been a month since we've been married and everyone talks about how great the food was! Popolo was so responsive and helpful throughout the whole process and made it very easy on us. I loved them so much that they catered our rehearsal dinner, lunch the day of, the reception, and the morning brunch! I seriously cannot say enough good things about them!

We did BBQ chicken, marsala lasagna, brussels sprouts, potatoes, salad and focaccia bread. I had some serious food allergies/preferences and they were able to meet them all without any problems. We had vegans & vegetarians; shellfish & dairy allergies, and a very serious case of celiacs disease. Everyone was very well fed and I was very confident that their would be no problems. Leon, Kat, & Tasha were awesome to work with and were so enthusiastic and supportive the whole time. Love them!

We got married during covid and they we’re super informative and communicative leading up to the wedding. Their staff is trained to handle food service specifically during the pandemic and they used all of the necessary precautions to make our guests feel safe. I think we were most impressed about their timing and ability to be on schedule. I have been to several weddings where we just waited around forever waiting for food to be served and Popolo immediately had appetizers out after the ceremony and started dinner service 20 minutes early. We got tons of compliments about the quality of the food, and they even put aside plates for my husband and I and put them in the fridge inside the house just incase we didn’t get to eat our dinner (which we didn’t!) It was nice to be able to have a yummy meal to eat after the wedding was over. They were so great that my aunt actually booked them for Thanksgiving with our extended family as well. I would definitely hire them again!

For example, my husband and I were on our way to take photographs after the ceremony and Leon's staff handed us a platter of all the samplers so that we didn't have to wait for food! This really made my day as I was super hungry! Overall great caterers! I would use them again!

FYI you also get to pick 2 appetizers. Do yourself a favor, call for a complimentary tasting and lick your plate clean =) Enjoy!!

the day of the wedding. However, I was disappointed in the food on the day of. Most of it was good, but the salmon was dry and the meat was cold by the time I got it on my plate. They blamed the photographer for taking too long on pictures (even though she was finished exactly when the time line said she needed to be). I did not appreciate them trying to blame someone else because they messed up. I also did not like that the food was not as great as anticipated especially for such a small wedding. Although I did like Popolos, I was slightly disappointed.

tri-tip and chicken were very good but the bread and salad which we had fallen in love with at the tasting weren't even close to what we were expecting. We had asked for the salad to have the nuts and cheese on the side due to allergies. They were all mixed in and the dressing was pre mixed! It was 100 degrees that day and by the time it was served, it was very wilted. Lastly, we had at least 15 people not show up who we had paid for and we were not given the opportunity to save the leftovers. We were told later by the owner that people had come up for seconds and third and that is why there were no leftovers. I was informed later that one of our venues employees had to hurry to get to-go boxes for us to eat leftovers later (because we were staying at our venue) because they were packing them all away. There was obviously food left and since we had paid for the food, we should have been allowed to keep it!
